Chapter 182: Chapter 182

Third Person’s Point of view

She ignored the guy and seemed to float in mid-air, just strolling. Adonis' previous reaction and Jessica's warning that Adonis is not the man kept circling in her mind. Whoever believes in her reason is a fool. It is self-evident that it is Adonis; so, why is she deceiving her?

Charles.

Ha! She laughed inside but couldn't deny that she was mourning the grief she'd discovered. Adonis has no recollection of her. Her dread had made its appearance. She was unaware that Lorenzo was following her as she went. He seems to be intending to give it out of concern for what may happen to Luna, but now that it appears as if something occurred between Jessica and her.

He just let Luna walk and promised to assist her in the chance that whatever happened to her. He was already anticipating this, and he felt bad for being aware of Jessica's plot but failing to intervene. He knew that Jessica would force herself to take Adonis. However, it was only recently that he discovered his cousin was about to stomp on someone. He now perceives Luna as his conscience.

They had already exited the building, and he was taken aback by Luna's straight stride and apparent lack of awareness of her surroundings. Lorenzo took a fast move to narrow the gap. When he saw Luna was proceeding even farther, he fled due to the approaching vehicle.

"Luna!" He yanked Luna's arm fast and forcefully, creating the illusion that Luna was conscious of what she was doing. The vehicle sped past her, and her eyes widened as they followed the van with their eyes.

“Hey! Gather yourself!” Lorenzo yelled fiercely at her, and they exchanged glances. Luna, on the other hand, did not respond quickly, as if she was still processing what had happened and was stunned. “Do you know you're about to die? Do you believe what you are thinking is worth it in return for your life?"

Lorenzo was perplexed as to why he was upset. He was oblivious that his heart was racing as a result of fear. He hasn't let go of Luna's hand yet, fearful that she might move again unexpectedly.

"I-I apologize." Luna apologized promptly for an unspecified cause. Perhaps she feels sorry for herself since someone came dangerously close to hurting or killing her as a result of what she was thinking.

"What do you imagine will remain after you vanish? Are you still actually considering it?"

Luna examined him to see why Lorenzo responded in that manner. She was aware that what she did was wrong and that she was careless, but was Lorezo justified in being upset with her JUST BECAUSE of what happened?

"Thank you, all right? However, you have no concern if anything happens to me."

Lorenzo released her as a result of what she said. She now felt bad, since she had already been rescued and remained furious. She had no intention of becoming enraged. She just does not feel stable at the moment, and she is unsure what she should do. She's determined to put an end to everything that's occurring right because now she thinks she's going insane.

"Are you really like that to everyone?" Lorenzo questioned coldly.

Luna remained silent and bit her lip.

"Are you really scaring away those who want to help you?" Lorenzo smiled, but his smile was devoid of nothing. He only wants Luna to be cautious next time, but the reasons do not seem favorable to Luna.

“Fine. Perhaps you're really unaccustomed to being surrounded by others." Lorenzo pulled away from Luna and took a step back. He clutched his hand in the expectation that Luna would deal with the situation, but she did not. He wanted to tinker with himself as a reaction to how he felt.

Luna, on the other hand, just sat on the floor and wrapped her arms about herself. Her eyes welled up with tears, and was perplexed.

"Miss Luna!"

When Luna heard Mark's voice, she glanced. Mark gave her a sad and worried look.

She did not say goodbye earlier; It's lucky he discovered where she is now.

"I'm sorry, Miss Luna." Mark spoke once more and grabbed her hand in his and assisted her to her feet. "Miss Luna, stand there."

Luna is similar to a piece of paper that Mark drew.

She was oblivious to the fact that she was already inside the car. She had no idea how she got here like all she knew was that her emotions were jumbled and she seemed to have a fever.

Mark remained silent while the car was moving, but when everything unfolded to Luna, she couldn't stop sobbing loudly.

Leilani greeted Luna. Raymond and Wendy, who are now having difficulty walking, followed. The last to come out was Wayne who was now pushing his dad's wheelchair. It's Adonis uncle.

Luna's eyes widened but also quickly disappeared.

She bowed in front of Adonis's uncle.

“Where is my niece? I thought you bring him back here. Why can't I see even his shadow?” The man's voice was cold and serious while Luna was biting her lip.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she remembered how she could get Adonis back, if Adonis could not even remember her.

"I'm sorry." That was all she could say.

“Ah. Nevermind. What can I expect from you?”

"Dad!"

“What ?! I'm right! Do you think Adonis would have gone like that if he hadn't met this woman?” The man's words to her were sharper now. Luna just accepted all the words because there was nothing she could do.

“Stop it. No one likes what happened! She didn't want all that!” Wayne fearlessly spoke.

"It's okay, Wayne." Luna smiled at him. Leilani, on the other hand, hugged her to sympathize with her feelings.

“Tomorrow, I will accompany you. We will go to him.”

Luna quickly looked up when she heard what Adonis' uncle said. She didn't know if what she heard was right.

"I'll sleep here so I won't have to wait for you tomorrow."

Luna blinked as her chest came alive.
