Third Person's POV

All regrouped as the lawyer returned. Now, they will know the result of who is the name that will inherit all that Adonis left behind.

Hernan never showed up again to Luna, much to her surprise. She believed that the mansion would be taken from her immediately but until now there has been no action being taken it by the man.

Everyone is in the living room except Nana, Apo Tilo and Sasha. Leilani is playing with Athen. Luna and the lawyer were already sitting but the others were just standing.

“I first need to confirm how you and Mr. Salander connected before we can get started.” The lawyer was already looking at Luna.

Luna didn't know what to answer. Even she didn’t know what her connection was to Adonis. If she said that she was just a girlfriend, the lawyer might think that Adonis' wealth was what she was after.

But the two guards who have been with Adonis for a long time seem serious that the two will not let her down. Mark answered the lawyer.

“She's the lover of Mr. Salander. They also have a child so it's important for her to know if she can still get everything our boss left behind. "

The lawyer nodded and looked at Luna again. He had already opened his case and pulled out a paper. It was just a piece of paper he laid on the table.

Everyone looked at it. Luna, on the other hand, has a strong heartbeat. It didn't matter to her what Adonis would leave her, the only thing that mattered to her was whether she still had the right to get the mansion even though she knew it was impossible.

"According to the agreement in 2001, the agreement set out in the paper is that he will give all his property to the one named Luna Everdeen."

When the lawyer said that, a thorn pulled Luna out of her chest. But she knew that she could not calm down yet because there might still be a chance that what the lawyer would say next would change.

Everyone's heart pounded because of what the man said in front of them. Luna wasn't nervous because she knew that Adonis would not act without thinking.

"What did Adonis change?" Luna's question was still calm as she crossed her legs. Others turned to her because they admired her courage and had no trace of anxiety.

“This year, Mr. Salander, the owner of his property divided it into two parts.”

He stared at Luna earnestly. "The only thing, Luna Evedeen will have is Mr. Salander's businesses and properties and not this mansion."

Luna suddenly stood up at what the lawyer said. "And to whom did he leave this house?"

Her calm demeanor changed quickly. She didn't want to show this expression because it looked exaggerated but she couldn't help it.

"The owner of this mansion is named Athen Salander."

Luna POV

When the lawyer said my daughter's name, I didn't know if I would laugh or cry because I was nervous for no good reason. I went back to my seat thinking we were safe.

But despite my thinking, I suddenly remembered about Adonis ’company. If no one walks there, who will handle it? I can't because I have no knowledge of anything there.

“Miss Luna, it's up to you what you will do with everything left by Mr. Salander to you. You can just sell all his shares in the company, but you can also just walk away.” The lawyer stood up after he told me that.

Before he turned his back on me he left a word again. “But I suggest you just study its management. It would be a pity if it suddenly collapsed. He also kept it for a long time even though many floods have passed through it.”

I thought about what he said.

The people watching us left and left me alone. Taking care of the whole company was too heavy a task for me. But as I think that everything Adonis had worked so hard for has suddenly disappeared, my guilt visits me.

I also hope to find some news about Adonis after I watch TV. But as soon as I opened the screen, Jessica's face immediately appeared on us.

I frowned at the news and to the newscaster was saying. What did Jessica think and she suddenly left?

I don’t know but I am bothered for reasons I don’t know.

Leilani and I once turned to Wendy who was staring intently at the screen. She didn't take her eyes off there and she tilted her head as if she was remembering where she had seen that man.

But our attention promptly returned to the screen as the male newscaster spoke again.

“It is said that she is leaving because she is getting married with her fiance. We tried to confirm the truth to her but she only gave us with no comment.”

Her face flashed on the screen and our attention returned to Wendy as she suddenly straightened up as she sat down. I could see that she wasn’t taking her eyes off the screen but she already had horror in her eyes.

She pointed at the screen so Leilani and I were even more surprised at what she was doing.

"What's happening to you?" I couldn’t help but wonder in my voice. She looked at me with menacing eyes.

“She’s that woman I saw with Adonis! Believe me Luna! I am not lying!"

"Wendy!" Wayne's voice echoed so we all turned to him. Wendy was shocked by Wayne's shout.

Shocked, Wendy's eyes also turned to Wayne. I didn’t expect the yelled Wayne made.

"I told you to stop saying useless things."

“It's not useless! The evidence is infront of our eyes! Why are you making me liar?” Wendy stand up, couldn't believe what Wayne called her.
