Chapter 12: Chapter 12
Third Person’s POV
Vincent just finished taking a bath.
While drying his blonde hair, he walked out of his room and saw the maid outside his brother’s office.
Agatha was stomping her feet while covering her face.
Vincent thought it was a funny sight.
He leaned on the doorsill, opened his bathrobe slightly so his chest would be seen, and then he called Agatha.
“What happened to you?”
Agatha put down her hands and looked at him. Her face was as red as a tomato.
Vincent was certain something happened inside the office.
‘Did she succeed in seducing my brother? But she looks embarrassed,’ Vincent thought.
Sneering, Vincent inquired, “What were you doing inside my brother’s office?” Vincent, who was only wearing a bathrobe, asked.
Agatha stood straight and was in a grimace.
She was so happy at the good news that she passed the review test.
Agatha hoped that she would stay happy from morning till midnight. But she embarrassed herself to Lanceil, and now she encountered Vincent.
‘Why is he here?! He goes clubbing every night, so I thought he wasn’t here. Darn it,’ Agatha regretted in her head.
Vincent has a face that many would like to observe for a long time. Agatha would admit he’s very hot and handsome. Especially when he smirks and displays a worldly expression that makes him look devilish. But the problem wasn’t his face, but his attitude.
Agatha will never forget the first day she met this man. He was rude enough to kiss her.
‘Also, Brett warned me to be careful. This guy would do anything to make me surrender,’ Agatha added in her head.
“I only asked Sir Lanceil to give me permission,” she answered.
“Permission for?”
“To allow me to study.”
“You’re a student?”
“I graduated from college. Just need to pass the bar exam.”
“Ahhhh. I see. Then, where are you going?”
“I don’t think it is mandatory to answer all of your questions.”
“Why not? I am your boss’s brother. So, I am your boss too.”
‘Where the hell did he get the idea?’ Agatha complained inwardly.
“You came at the perfect time. I saw a cockroach inside my room. Catch it,” he said.
Agatha cursed silently as she eyed him widely. She looked like she wanted to kill him right here, right now.
When Vincent saw her expression, he enjoyed teasing her more.
“What are you doing? If you want to go out, then do your job quickly,” Vincent said, opening the door of his room.
Agatha clenched her fists.
‘Once I terminated the contract, I wish I could kill this guy,’ she vowed.
Agatha smiled sardonically.
“Yes, Sir. I will catch it right away.”
She removed her indoor slipper, which she will use to kill the cockroach. Then, Agatha went inside her room.
As soon as she went in, Vincent smirked. Unfortunately, Agatha didn’t see the grin on her lips before she entered the den of a wild beast.
Inside Vincent’s room, Agatha looked around for the cockroach. But no matter how much she looked around, she couldn’t see it.
“Are you sure there is a cockroach here?” she asked.
“There is. Look under the bed.”
Sighing, Agatha bent down and looked under his bed. Yet, she saw nothing.
“There is nothing here, SIR.”
“That’s weird. I am sure I saw it there. Let me show you.”
Vincent went behind her. He bent down, pressing his front to Agatha’s butt.
At the body contact, Agatha froze.
“I saw the cockroach in that place,” Vincent whispered in her ear. He was pointing his finger while he was pressing his bulge on her butt.
Agatha wasn’t ignorant not to notice Vincent’s lewd intention. She knew right there that Vincent was using a tactic to scare her, and that was pressing his d*ck onto her ass.
Although he’s wearing a bathrobe, the fabric was thin. Agatha could feel the outline of his massive manh**d pressing on her p*ssy.
This is what Brett warned her about.
“You still couldn’t see it?” Vincent whispered to the lady, who turned so red. He gently rubbed his er*ction on her ass, seeing her reaction.
Disgusted, Agatha stood up. She pushed Vincent away and glared at him.
Vincent only laughed.
“What?” he provoked. “What’s wrong?”
“You shit,” Agatha said.
“Oh? So, you know how to curse.”
“Yes, I do, you fucking bastard.”
“But when you are in front of my brother, you act like a scaredy-cat.”
“If I have someone like you in front of me, I will rather be a badass, Sir. You are getting out of line.”
“With what? You mean when I rubbed my d*ck on your ass?” Vincent said vulgar words which scarred Agatha’s hearing.
“That is harassment,” Agatha uttered while shooting a glare at him.
The smile on Vincent’s lips fades. He leaned closer and lifted his chin. He stared at Agatha as if he was looking at a pest.
“What’s the difference between you and me? Didn’t you approach my brother to seduce him too?”
Agatha’s face loosened. She felt guilty about his words.
“Right now, I am seducing you. If you want money, then date me instead. Stay away from my brother. You didn’t know how much he suffered before. Don’t give me a fuck, lady.”
Agatha didn’t choose this path.
She was forced to do this.
“What do you think? Seduce me instead, bitch,” Vincent added.
“I am sorry, but you AREN’T MY TYPE.”
She completely transmitted the offense to him; and thus, his eyes went sharper than usual. There was threatening bloodthirstiness on his pale face as walked closer to her.
He moved forward.
She stepped backward.
Then stopped.
They looked at each other.
Next, Agatha saw him grab a wallet.
Vincent opened his wallet and grabbed a few bills.
Then, he looked at her with a smirk. “You wanted his money, aren’t you?” After asking, Vincent raised his hand and slapped the money on her face.
Flabbergasted, Agatha’s mouth opened as her eyes traced those bills from the ground.
“If this is what you are after, just date me. I will accompany you to the bed too.”
How she wishes that it was really the case. Because if it is, then it’s easy to retreat. But she was doing all of this for her life, because she wanted to stay alive. Yet this man appeared and acted like he knows everything.
“Stop acting like you know everything,” she murmured then picked up the bills from the ground. As soon as she stood up and met his gaze, Agatha slapped the money back in his face.
Swish!
In a slow-motion, Vincent saw the money scattered in the air.
His mouth went wide open; he couldn’t close it because he was too startled. Wordless, he looked at the girl who slapped him with his own money.
“I am doing this not because of money,” Agatha added.
Tears glistened at the corner of her eyes when she added, “I had no choice. I just wanted to stay alive even though the world seemed to turn its back on me.”
Agatha wiped her tears and then jolted outside his room. Next, she closed the door with a loud bang.
‘Bam!’
Guilty without a reason why he should, Vincent had his eyes downcast at the bills on the floor.
“Damn it. Why did she have to cry like that?” Vincent complained while biting his lower lip.
