Immediately Master Damien left the chamber, Galene opened her eyes which doesn't look like she was just sleeping.

She sat up and glanced at the door that master Damien just walked out of.

"What is going on?" She asked out loud. Master Damien has been unnecessary kind towards her ever since she woke up from wherever she might have gone to that made her sleep for two whole days.

The way he jerked when she called out his name and the way he rushed to her.

His eyes do not look like he had closed them for the past two days and he looked extremely drained that she could feel it from his eyes.

He isn't the same master she was sold to and she doesn't know the reason behind his change of heart.

"Whatever made him change his heart must be Godsent, I pray such keep existing so he would never have a reason to go back to his formal self" Galene muttered and climbed off the bed.

Since Master Damien has gone for a meeting, she would seize the opportunity to visit her roommates whom she hasn't seen for a while.

She arranged her garment and walked towards the door, she opened the door to see that the guards at the doorpost have been increased to four.

Four hefty men with big scary muscles brought fear to Galene's eyes.

How could master Damien bring such hefty men to guard his doorpost, does he want her to die of a heart attack by mere looking at these men.

"How would she get out of this room without them restricting her,?" she thought and an idea pooped into her head.

"Do you need anything milady?" One of the guards asked as they saw Galene standing by the door.

Galene nodded scratching her neck not sure if she should talk or just return to the boring room she was trying to get out of.

After standing and not speaking for a few minutes, Galene summoned courage and decided to talk. After all, she's the master's slave so they would not do anything to harm her without the master's order.

Clearing her throat, Galene shifted forward and glance at the faces of the hefty guards.

"You see the thing is I feel nauseous and suffocating so I want to take a walk to ease myself," she said rubbing her temple and avoiding the eyes of the guards.

"I'm sorry but the Master instructed us not to let you out," another guard said blocking the entrance of the door with his body to shield her from coming out.

Galene frowned.

She wasn't going to go back into the room just like that. She was going to see her friends today whether the guards like it or not. Not even their huge rock muscles would stop her.

"I cannot stay indoors, I could suffocate and you know the Master would kill you all if such happens. Moreover, I am not leaving the castle, I just want to walk some distance and return" Galene uttered and they finally gave in and made way for her to pass.

"You have to let one of us go with you to guide you if you insist on leaving the room," the guard who spoke first said and she shook her head vigorously.

"Why should one of you follow me when the whole castle is surrounded by guards? Please just allow me, I promise to be saved and the master won't have to punish any of you" Galene assured them and they finally agreed.

"Thank you" she smiled widely and ran to her formal room.

"Galene" Luciana screamed hugging her tightly as she opened the door.

Galene stood transfixed but also hugged her back not wanting to annoy her though she was still surprised and in awe.

"Is this some kind of joke or did Luciana really hug me Galene whom she never liked?" Galene questioned herself.

"I'm sorry I must have lost myself, come in" Luciana muttered after disengaging from the tight hug which was already squeezing Galene to death.

She stepped out of the way and Galene happily rushed inside. How she missed this room and her friends.

The two other beds were empty meaning that Lydia and Mariam aren't in the room.

Her happiness dwindled as she knew Luciana would not give her much attention and she does not want to return to master Damien's room.

"Where are they?" She decided to ask Luciana about Lydia and Mariam.

"Mariam is at the bathroom and Lydia has gone out with her princess friend" she replied and Galene nodded.

"I guess I have to wait for Mariam then since she's just bathing and would soon be out," Galene said and Luciana shrugged.

"Look Galene I know we might not be so close but I care about you and would not let bad things befall you. You have to be careful around some people in this Castle".

"No one likes the position you're in now, you might not know but you mean a lot to master Damien, and you are surrounded by enemies you should be wary of," Luciana concluded, stood up and walked out of the room and just then the door opened and Mariam came out dressed leaving Galene no time to think about what Luciana just said.

"Galene" Mariam exclaimed and pulled Galene into a hug. Galene smiled and hugged her back.

Wiping off the tears in her eyes, Galene disengaged from the hug. She has missed her and is happy to be seeing her once again.

"We heard what happened to you two days ago" Mariam muttered and held Galene's hands rubbing small circles at the back of her palm.

"You are no longer a slave Galene. I know you might not believe me because you are still confused but we all know what you would become and I want to tell you to be careful as you would be used as bait my many enemies to get through Master Damien she paused and started into Galene's eyes who kept quiet listening to her. Marian swallow and continue

"Watch your back and trust no one, not even the one you call friends because you might not know what grudges one bears against you" Mariam concluded.

Galene looked more confused than she was when Luciana said hers. What they were both talking about sounded more confusing to her.

"How is she no longer a slave? For as long as she knew, she has become the master's personal slave and his act of kindness towards her doesn't make her think otherwise.

She looked up to Mariam " I do not understand what you and Luciana are talking about. "What do you mean by I'm no longer a slave when I've become an inner chamber slave," Galene said rolling her eyes.

"I know you do not understand and none of us are in the best position to tell you but the master so listens to our advice and wait for him to come clean to you," Mariam said and Galene just nodded not wanting to be confused the more.

"The master has released the rest of the sex slaves remaining the Luciana, Lydia, and I and we were assigned different positions".

"Luciana work in the kitchen, Lydia was taken by princess Avila to be her maid till her stay in the palace gets over and I, I feed the farmworkers who now eat three times a day" Mariam filled Galene in the happenings since her absence.

Galene's eyes widened to the point of bulging. She couldn't believe her eyes and would never thought master Damien would ever be humane.

"Do you mean to say he has changed and no longer kills people?" Galene couldn't help but ask.

"Well he hasn't in that aspect because he slew a guard yesterday for not answering his call on time"

"I think he only wanted you hence he sent all the sex slaves home, Master Damian is still the ruthless Master he was. I see nothing changed in him " Mariam muttered with a sad smile and Galene sighed.

She really thought he stopped killing. "Would he really be able to do that?" She thought and stared out of the window to see it was getting late already.

"I will have to go now, I'm glad to see you and it's so unfortunate I couldn't see Lydia but do help me inform her and I would come again if I'm given the chance to" Galene bid Mariam who in turn escorted her to the door.

Princess Avila paced around her room looking furious with Lydia sitting at the edge of her bed.

She has been angry ever since Lydia brought the news of Galene being awake. She had fervently prayed for her not to wake but the b*tch woke up after two days.

Couldn't she have died in her sleep at least for her to go and rest? Hasn't she suffered enough in the hands of the master and the abductors? She should have just died so she could have what she came here for.

She stared out the window in anger. She can not leave this beautiful castle for a mere slave and she doesn't care how she does it but she must get master Damien.

"My princess I think you should calm down, getting angry and pacing around the room would not solve any of our problems, the time you spent in pacing around could be used to map out new plans that would benefit us, "Lydia said and princess Avila gave her a sharp look.

" what do you mean by benefiting us, Lydia? I hope you are not thinking something stupid with the us you just said and when did we both start fighting for the master?" Princess Avila sneered and Lydia scoffed internally.

"I'm really sorry princess, it was a slip of the tongue, j would never have eyes for the master when I know he's for you please pardon my manners" Lydia apologized.

"You better not because if I find out you also want what I desire then I won't hesitate to pluck off your eyes" Princess Avila scolded and Lydia bowed her head in apology.

"I will never my Princess. The master is not my class for I'm just a mere slave" Lydia uttered but in her mind, she forbade it.

"Good to know you know what you are and would remain and I forgive you. Too bad that shameless girl called Galene doesn't know what she is but I would be glad to remind her" Princess Avila said.

"I'm not a mere slave and if Galene could get the master to look at her then I could also get him to wife me and I'm still better than you that called yourself a princess, after all, I have warmed the master's bed and felt his strength and rod deep in me but you don't even know what his chambers look like".

"I would use you to get what I want and you would only think I'm helping you out until you find yourself back in your community." Lydia thought hiding her smiles.

"Now tell me, do you have any plans mapped out? We need to plan for we do not have enough time" Princess Avila said bringing Lydia out of her daze.

"Yes Damien's princess I think I know what we should do now to take her out once and for all," Lydia said and Princess Avila smiled widely showing all her dentition.

"What are you waiting for? Quick fill me into your awesome plan" Princess Avila urged Lydia.

Galene walked into the Master's chamber and looked around for any sign of the master.

He wasn't back yet and she smiled happily. At least she didn't put herself and the guards in trouble.

She quickly ate the food that was kept for her and rushed to the bathroom to take her bath.

She needs to be asleep before he gets back or rather pretend to be asleep to see what he would do or the way he would react towards her.

She got into the hot tub, the sweetest thing she love about the master's chamber was the tub. How relaxing the warm water was to her skin.

She could stay all day in the water but she have to hurry up because she doesn't want the master to see her awake so she hurriedly scrubbed her body with soap and a sponge then rinsed off the soap.

She got out of the tub and dried her skin with the body towel, wore the new silk-like material night robe then went out of the bathroom, and thankfully he wasn't back yet.

Galene mounted the bed and laid on her side pretending to be asleep.

"For how long would she play this game before the master comes back" she mumbled lowly but it seems her prayers got answered as the door opened to reveal Master Damien.

Galene shut her eyes tightly snoring lightly while sharpening her ears to detect his movements.

Master Damien removed his shoes and took off his regalia. His eyes moved to the bed and rested on Galene's back.

He dropped his regalia and walked towards the bed and placed his hands on Galene's forehead to feel her temperature.

"Cool," he muttered when he felt her temperature normal. He picked up the pillow and gently raised her head placing the pillow beneath her head to hold her neck in place.

Galene held her breath as master Damien was above her. She wouldn't want him to notice she was awake and not sleeping.

"After placing the pillow underneath her, master Damien bent down and placed his head on her stomach.

Galene flinched, confused on why he suddenly placed his head on her stomach. Is something wrong with him?" She thought and breath out lightly.

She was still wondering what master Damien was up to when he spoke shocking her to the bone marrow with his words.

"What in gods name does that mean?!!!
