They continued walking till they got to the flower garden. Galene wondered what they were doing in the garden.

"Wasn't he supposed to take her to the torture room and have her body ripped apart? Why the garden of all places" she thought.

"Sit down" he pointed at the chair there. Galene stared open-mouthed at him before sitting down.

"Have you had breakfast? He asked and Galene shook her head still surprised. "What is he doing?" She thought.

"Get us breakfast," he said to Robin who followed them, Robin nodded and left to get the food.

"Tell me about you Galene," Master Damien asked not taking his gaze off her.

Galene shifted uncomfortably on her seat. What is he talking about? Why does he want to know about me? So he could go wipe out my family?" Galene thought not daring to speak.

"I'm giving you just today to be free with me and tell me anything you want to tell me" master Damien said further shocking her.

"What do you mean My lord?" Galene muttered lowly raising her face to look into his eyes for the first time.

Her gaze lost into his silver orb, she must admit that master Damian is a greek god.

She has never seen a man with a physique as breathtaking as the master.

But even in all this his beauty, his heart is as cold as a stone.

"I meant what I said, I know you have too many questions and I'm allowing you to ask me or make a request of what you want me to do for you and I will grant it. Just for today" he said and she froze.

"Maybe I should ask him to release me and let me return to my mother," she thought and tried talking but he raised his hands indicating her to stop.

"You cannot ask to leave this castle. You can ask of anything but not to leave this Castle. You belong to me and won't be allowed to go" he said and her heart skipped.

What else does she want to ask him if not to release her, she sniffed trying to drive in the tears threatening to fall.

"Eat," master Damian said as Robin returned with the cook who served them breakfast.

Galene stares at the palatable royal meal in front of her. It wasn't something she had eaten before and it looked tantalizing and appealing. But she would not wine and dine with the almighty master Damian.

"I'm sorry my lord but I do not desire to eat" she muttered and he dropped his golden spoon, looking up to her.

"You cannot reject my food Galene, do not get me angry" his voice rang out in a dangerous tone which shook Galene on her seat.

"I'm sorry my Lord, please pardon my manners but I do not feel it's worthy of me to wine and dine with you" Galene muttered in a low tone, her gaze not leaving the food. She wants to eat it badly but she could not bring herself to do so.

"Do not be scared lady, I did not bring you here to belittle yourself, stop talking and eat the food. Considering the way you look at it, I know you want to have a taste of it" he said and Galene looked away shyly.

She never knew he caught her staring hungrily at the food. She nodded her head and picked up the golden spoon and started eating.

Luciana stood by her corner of the window staring down to the garden where Master Damian was wining and dining with Galene.

She muttered an incoherent word to herself. "What are you doing Luciana?" Lydia asked and Luciana quickly dragged the window close.

"Nothing, I just looked outside what are you doing in here?" Luciana asked staring at Lydia.

"What do you mean by that, I'm supposed to leave the room I sleep in for you?" Lydia asked coming closer to see what Luciana was looking at outside the window but she was restricted by Luciana before she could touch the window.

"What are you trying to do Lydia? Do I need to remind you that this is my corner and I do not want you or anyone coming close to it" Luciana snapped pushing Lydia out of the window.

"What has gotten over you, Lucy? You are acting weird all of a sudden, what is there in that window that you wouldn't let me see?" Lydia asked staring suspiciously at Luciana.

"There is nothing there, I do not want any disturbances so if you can excuse me, I need to be left alone so got to your corner," Luciana said and laid on her bed ignoring Lydia.

"I wonder what you are hiding" Lydia muttered and went to her corner.

"Thank you, master" Galene bowed after the sumptuous breakfast with master Damien.

The table was cleared leaving both of them alone. Robin stood at the far end out of their reach watching over them.

"Did you enjoy the food?" Master Damien asked and Galene nodded in shyness. The meal was so delicious that she felt like eating the plate and requesting more.

"Now, tell me what you want me to do for you" master Damien asked staring at her beautiful ocean eyes.

"Nothing master, the only I wanted to ask was to allow me to visit my mother but since you said I won't leave then there's nothing else I want" she muttered in a pained voice.

"Why do you want to see your mother? So you can run away and never return? You know that would never be possible" master Damien said.

"No master, I would not run away, I just want to know how my mother is doing because I know my father would be giving her a very tough time so I want to go and visit her so she would know I'm still alive," Galene said in tears.

Fine, tomorrow you will go and see your mother but you will be accompanied by guards and you are not allowed to sleep there" master Damien concluded and stood up.

"Let's return," he said and Galene stood up in happiness. She cannot believe the master is giving her permission to visit her mother.

"Thank you Master" she muttered happily, smiling so widely and showing all her teeth as she walked side by side with him.

"Galene where are you going to?" Lydia asked the next morning as Galene dressed up.

"To my clan and to see my mother" she replied happily tying her corset tightly around her belly.

"Are you sneaking out again?" Luciana asked rolling her eyes. "Of course not, the master permitted me during breakfast yesterday" Galene replied.

"What breakfast are you talking about? Did you have breakfast with the Master yesterday?" Mariam asked coming into the room.

Galene was about to reply when a knock sounded on the door.

"I shall take my leave now, the guards the master appointed to go with me are already outside," Galene said and walked away from them despite them being confused.

"What breakfast was she talking about?" Lydia asked looking at Luciana.

And how do you expect me to know that? I'm I Galene? Luciana snapped and also walked out of the room.

Galene climbed the carriage which was waiting for her outside and to her surprise, it was a royal carriage.

She doesn't understand why Master Damian had been acting all kind towards her since yesterday but whatever it was that he ate, she loves it because she get to visit her mother.

The carriage started driving out of the castle with Galene relaxing back on the chair.

Happiness bubbling in her, she couldn't wait to see her beloved mother.

Hours later the carriage stopped in front of their compound and Galene jumped out happily running inside.

Another carriage pulled over and started offloading foodstuff.

"Mother" Galene screamed running to the back of the cottage where her mother was blowing firewood to heat her pot of food. Diana was also helping her put more firewood into the fire.

They both turned when they heard Galene's voice. "Mother look, it is Galene" Diana pointed and stood up running to her friend and engulfing her in a tight hug.

Her mother also rose not minding her wrapper that was falling off, she ran straight into her daughter's hand weeping profusely.

"Look at you Galene you do not look like someone who is a slave in that beast of a master's castle" Diana muttered staring at her friend who looked more beautiful than before.

"Did you sneak out again to come to see me?" Her mother asked getting scared for her.

"No Mother, I didn't the master permitted me, I even came with the guards" Galene replied hugging her mother one more time.

Rebecca exchanged stare with Diana before they both Galene's hand outside to see the guards.

Their mouth dropped open when they saw the royal carriage and three guards standing beside it.

"You mean you came in this?" Diana asked and Galene nodded innocently.

"Yes, that was the carriage the master provided. "Mother look" Diana called out, pointing at the many foodstuffs on the floor.

"What are those?" Galene asked also looking at it. "Those are foodstuffs Galene. Did the master also give those to you?" Her mother asked staring suspiciously at her.

"Of course not mother, I never knew this other carriage was following us, let me go ask them," Galene said and walked to the guards.

"What happened?" Galene asked pointing at the foodstuffs. "The master ordered we bring them to your mother," one of the guards said and Galene's eyes widened.

Diana who heard what the guard said gasped. "Let us go inside daughter" Rebecca muttered and started walking into the cottage with Diana and Galene following behind her.

"Galene you are my only daughter and you know you are the reason I am still breathing," Rebecca said, her gaze fixed on Galene.

"Mother I Know all these but why are you suddenly saying this, aren't you happy I came, or has father been treating you badly?" Galene asked, her eyes watering.

"Far from that, your father would always treat me bad and I do not talk about that anymore. All I want from you is the truth Galene do not hide anything from us" Rebecca said getting Galene more confused.

"The truth about what mother? Diana, what happened?" Galene asked standing to her feet.

"Sit down" her mother muttered and she sighed before sitting back down.

"We all know that Master Damien would never allow any of his slaves outside the castle not to talk of giving out his royal carriage and also foodstuffs"

"Yes, master Damien would never do such a thing unless something else is going on" Diana chipped in.

"What are you insinuating mother?" Galene asked still not getting her points. She doesn't know her mother as someone who says things without going straight to the point and the worst is Diana also understands.

"What we are trying to say is that you should tell us what is going on between you and the Master. Apart from being his bed slave, is there any other thing going on?" Her mother asked beaming.

"I do not understand you mother," Galene said wiping her mouth with the hem of her cloth.

"Look Galene we heard Master Damien wants to take a wife, Are you the one?" Diana muttered also smiling.

Galene's eyes shot open, her mouth agape as she stare at her mother and best friend.

"What nonsense are you both spitting?" She muttered and suddenly started laughing.

"Oh, I understand now, you both missed me so much and couldn't wait to start a joke with me. Haha, I must say this joke is weird" Galene laughed throwing her head backward.

"This is no joke Galene, we are serious. Some news rumored the master wanted to take a wife and here you are, saying the master allowed you come visit me and not only that, he gave out his royal carriage to take you and also brought this much foodstuffs to us, are you saying you are not the one he wants to take as a wife?" Diana said clapping her hands with smiles plastered on her face.

"No mama, I am not the one master wants to take as his wife and I didn't hear any news of the master taking a wife in the castle so what you both heard are obviously rumors" Galene concluded and stood up.

"Mother let's return to the kitchen, I am starving" she muttered and sauntered out of the room.

Rebecca exchanged a knowing look with Diana who chuckled and stood up, also walking out of the room.
