Chapter 63: Chapter 63
JUNE
I shamelessly trailed my hand down my body and pinched my nipples before heading to the main object of desire, the tight bud between my legs. With my entire focus on him, I spread my pussy lips with my fingers, making sure to fully lean back and catch some of the sunlight to give him a cinematic view of my body.
“Doll, you need to stop this,” he said in a warning tone, with his gaze going towards the place I wanted it to be.
“Why? Don't tell me you are tired of me just after a night?”
Though I sounded less concerned, I couldn't help the twist I felt in my heart at the thought of that.
Should he try to treat me like he does the whores he fucks—dumping when he's through with them—I might not survive it.
“No, not exactly.” He reached towards me and touched my right cheek, “I don't think I can ever get tired of you, Doll. You are not like the other women.” He leaned down and kissed my forehead, staring into my eyes with an expression that showed just how much he adored me.
“Then prove that to me,” I challenged. “Prove to me that you still want me.”
And that was how I found myself in bed for the entire day. I missed my classes because I couldn't even feel my legs.
And the culprit?
He's at work because he has another contract to sign with one Dija or something like that. Hearing my uncle speak about the unknown woman made me jealous. I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to their relationship than just official matters.
Though Kristin spoke of how much he adored me, he hasn't given us a tag yet. I don't know my stance in his life right now, and that's making me feel insecure.
My phone rang the moment I decided to go downstairs to seek food since I didn't eat anything in the morning.
I picked it up with a smile on my face, eager to tell my best friend the good news.
“Junny!” He yelled from the other end, calling me by the pet name he always called me when we were kids.
“Why the scream?” I rolled my eyes, grimacing when a sharp pain shot through my body the moment I sat up on the bed.
“Why? Don't you miss me?” He asked in a childish tone.
I can imagine the pout on his face as he said those words. Years of being with the moron is enough to know what expression he makes whenever he says something of that nature.
“Miss you? Who the hell will miss the only thorn in their arse?” I got up from the bed and went over to the closet.
Somehow, I felt embarrassed speaking with him while naked.
“Oh, you don't have to pretend like you don't care. I know you miss me, June. I can even hear it in your tone,” he joked.
“My tone?” I opened the closet and took one of my free gowns out, taking it back to my bed where I dropped the phone so I could put the dress on. “My tone gave nothing away. Stop fishing for prey where there are none.” I wore the gown before I picked the phone up and headed downstairs to search for food.
“Oh, come on,” he chuckled. “You don't have to act like you don't care. I know you do.”
“Not when you are the one in question.”
He groaned, “I don't seem to win any conversation with you, June. So, I'm going to let this one drop for now.”
“As you should have done since.” In the kitchen, I went straight to the fridge and got a tub of ice cream. “So, how have you been? Enjoying your trip?” I placed the phone on the table and took off the lid of my ice cream.
He sighed, “It's not the same without you here, June. Don't worry, when next I return here, I will take you with me.”
“That's a promise! Don't you dare go back on it!” I pointed my spoon towards the phone, thinking he could see.
His chuckles made me smile. “I won't ever forget that. Hell, you won't even allow me to do that,” he chuckled once more.
“Better.”
“So…. How have you been? Do you have any juicy gossip for me?”
“Of course!” I took a scoop of the ice cream, attempting to calm my racing heart before I dumped the bombshell. “You won't believe this, Mark!”
“What?” His tone sounded curious. “What happened?”
“Why don't you guess?” I took another scoop of my ice cream, trying not to blush hard as I waited for him to say something.
“Ugh, June. You know, I hate guessing. Why don't you—”
“Not saying unless you guess,” I chuckled, blushing hard as I imagined the frustrated expression that would be on his face at the moment.
“Okay, let's do this… " There was a considerable pause from his side before I heard his sharp exhale. “Okay, you got an A in the last exam?”
“Are you kidding me, Mark?!” I groaned, feeling the urge to seek my best friend out. “Serious, Mark, is that all you can think of?”
How the hell did I even get a best friend like this?
“... Well, let's see… Since it's not related to our exam, it's… You went on a trip with your uncle!”
“God,” I placed my palm on my forehead, trying to calm myself down, so I don't snap at him. “Where the hell did you hit your head on? Why is a damn guess so difficult for you?”
“Same as it is for you,” he accused. “Why don't you tell me about it, then? It will save me some time and you some headache. Take it as a win-win.”
“Well….” I played with my ice cream, taking a scoop only to deposit it back, and repeating my actions once more. “I slept with him,” I finally said, flushing hard at the thoughts of the remarkable night and morning I had with my uncle.
“Him?” He sounded confused. “What are you talking about.”
“My uncle, duh. I slept with him.”
“What?!" He screamed so loud, that I had to remove the phone from my ear, so it wouldn't burst my drums.
