Chapter 546: Chapter 546

In the middle of the night, in the Hall of Nature

Tan Bingyu and Xue Renxue were surrounding a bonfire with a flat pan on top of it. One was busy flipping the pork belly on it while the other was still making a new marinade for the meat they plan to use as bait for a Snow Leopard to get closer to them. Though this seems to be wishful thinking just by having common sense.

In the end, Tan Bingyu helps Xue Renxue grab a few bites while he is still doing something and feeds him. The two were happily eating when suddenly they felt presence surrounding them from all sides. Even the busy Xue Renxue becomes tense at these presences.

Xue Renxue said, "It seems we have lots of visitors."

"Ignore them and have dinner first," said Tan Bingyu.

With a single wave of her hand, a wall of ice surrounded them from a distance. This not only froze most of the beasts surrounding them but even some humans who wanted to steal from them. A towering ice wall made in circular form separated them from the other. Tan Bingyu did this so she can have her meals in peace.

The couple were eating dinner peacefully when suddenly someone familiar knocked at the ice wall around them.

The next moment a rectangular hole in the shape of a double door appeared. Yue Xuexia, who was carrying a bundled golden lotus and Shen Jueyang, who was walking beside her, had arrived.

"Mistress! Lord Shen!" Tan Bingyu and Xue Renxue called as they immediately stood up and greeted them by clasping their hands in respect.

Shen Jueyang said, "We are only passing by and will be leaving soon. Be at ease."

"Sister Bingyu, Brother Ren, tomorrow you should head to the location I had given you ahead of time. There are demonic cultivators within the group who are showing their true nature in this hall. Be careful. They wear a disguise to hide their real face and their qi aura." Yue Xuexia said.

Shen Jueyang said, "This dungeon doesn’t only have gods in it. There are also those who were born from evil. You should treat your battles in this dungeon seriously. The enemies from the otherworld are starting to notice the existence of this world. Xue’er we will need to gather materials to create a World Formation Array. It would temporarily hide the location of your world. In this hall, some of the materials can be found."

"If so then we should go and start gathering it. Let’s go," said the Moon Goddess. She then looked at the couple and changed the token she had given to Tan Bingyu.

She said, "If your life is in danger just break this token. I’ve placed a teleportation array on it and I will arrive on time."

"Yes! Thank you for your kind words, Mistress!"

"Enjoy your meal. Forgive us for barging in out of nowhere," said Yue Xuexia as she walked towards the dark forest with Shen Jueyang.

After the Moon Goddess and the Immortal Sun Emperor had left, the couple patched the hole and continued eating.

Xue Renxue said, "It seems that we need to head to our destination before the other or we will suffer ambushes on the way."

"We can leave at dawn. I will study the route before we go to sleep," said Tan Bingyu.

Xue Renxue smiled and responded, "Then I will finish this marinade tonight as well."

Meanwhile as this couple was living such a peaceful evening for the others it wasn’t. Like the group of monks who had accidentally entered a tomb while trying to lose the people chasing them. They are now running around the tomb while avoiding the traps.

Monk Hu Gu said, "Master, this place is eerie. What if there is a ghost!?"

"How can a monk like you be afraid of ghosts? You were taught how to send them to reincarnation or erase them. Amitabha~" Monk Hu Ren said. "Also don’t touch things recklessly. How many had you already triggered at the entrance!?"

"Amitofu~ Shixiong cannot blame this humble one alone. More than half of those traps are activated by Shizun!" complained Hu Gu. Suddenly, his master had hit him on the back of his head.

"Shizun~ why did you hit this disciple?" Monk Hu Gu complained.

Monk Hu Ren said, "Shidi deserves it."

"How could you blindlessly blame your...Click! ...m-master?" Monk Hu Tengyu looked down and saw his foot stepping on an area on the path which is supposed to be flat.

Following the sound of the click, they felt the land under their feet trembling and something was coming over to them. The path was a bit inclined as they walked down. As the object got closer they saw a metal boulder sliding down towards them.

Monk Hu Gu asked in surprise, "What is this? A ball?"

"It is indeed a ball," Monk Hu Ren echoed.

As for the buddha’s heir, Hu Tengyu, he slightly narrowed his eyes as he saw a flash from the rolling ball instead.

He commented, "How come it reflected light?"

Once the three of them got a bit closer, they saw a metal ball rolling towards them. Moreover, its size is at least twice of the three of them combine.

Monk Hu Gu cracked his fists and said, "Just a boulder... I can crush it without problems!"

"Hm? This sound isn’t right?" Monk Hu Ren mumbles.

As for the Buddha’s heir, Hu Tengyu, he had long run away and his voice was echoing in such a closed space.

"Punch your ass! That’s made of metal!!" Monk Hu Tengyu.

Monk Hu Ren shouted, "RUN!!"

They started running until the huge boulder was stuck on the other end of the path and safely escaped from being smashed into a meat paste. All three of them had run for their lives with Monk Hu Gu panting as they suddenly stopped from a wild sprint.

"S-Shizun~, what kind of place is this? I’m so dead tired," said Monk Hu Gu.

The Buddha’s Heir looked around and finally saw some kind of mural and its endless war between cultivators and most of them held a sword. They were fighting against some huge aliens that wanted to take over their world. These aliens looked like mutated and distorted spirits and demonic beasts. Each huge beast can ultimately swallow a human alive.

The two disciples with him were also studying the murals on the walls and recognized that these cultivators that held a sword were most likely sword cultivators. The only difference between the sword cultivators they knew is that the attacks or techniques of these cultivators on the wall were more advanced compared to the sword cultivators of their world.

At the end of the murals, they seemed to see a scene that suddenly pulled the three of them over, only their souls though.

"Master,Master, what are these circles on their backs? Rings?" Chapters fırst released on novel※fire.net

Monk Hu Ren pointed at the rings behind this Sword Cultivator raising his sword while stepping on the head of an eight headed creature that looks like an evil dragon.

The Buddha’s heir, Hu Tengyu, also stared at the last image murals on the wall and recognized the rings on their backs.

"These are divine rings. Though they cannot be completely called halos, this is the foundation to have one," Hu Tengyu said. "This one is most likely a Sword God with a cultivation above Mahayama Realm."

His two disciples suddenly asked, "Is there a realm beyond the Mahayama?"

"Of course there are higher realms than Mahayama. It’s just that those in this realm would hardly appear in low ranked stars like our world." The Buddha’s Heir, Hu Tengyu explained.

"Beyond the Huashen (God Transformation) Realm is Mahayama (Void Refining) Realm. Then the God King (Integration) Realm followed by the Imperial (Mastery) Realm. Next is the Tribulation Realm and finally the Immortal Realm."

"At Imperial Realms you can solidify laws into thin, plain and single colored rings. Only when you breakthrough to Tribulation Realm that these rings would transform into a halo and each halo possessed its own world. Only when you created worlds within you that you might be able to reach the Immortal Realm."

The explanation of Hu Tengyu was profound and each part of it made the two disciples hold their heads in distress. They seem to understand a part of it but couldn’t get a hold of this information said by their master.

Monk Hu Tengyu said, "This is according to the inheritance I got from our ancestors who had ascended and left this small star that we are in. This planet might even have an owner. It might either be one of those two, the Moon Goddess or the Sun God."

"Anyway don’t worry much about the realms beyond this world. Just focus on accumulating experience and try to break through to the Huashen realm. I had a feeling that the world will no longer be as peaceful as it is now in the future," said the Buddha’s Heir. "Let’s go. Though whatever in this place cannot be used by us, it can still be exchanged for points. Upon seeing those murals I think that his place might be a tomb for those Sword Cultivators and Sword Gods."
