Chapter 104: Chapter 104

Holan had Naraygeous on the ground and his hands down his neck. Naraygeous head-butted him away and slammed him hard on the ground. He picked him up again and slammed him one more time.

Holan got hold of Naraygeous hand and twisted it hard. Naraygeous winced at the tight pain it caused. He struggled to reach for Holan’s head. Finally his fingers touched Holan's face he and squeezed it.

Holan feared that Naraygeous was going to permanently blind him. He let go of Naraygeous’s neck and backed off panting.

Naraygeous felt his sore arm and winced loudly. “Lalina!” He called out.

“Yes?” Lalina answered back weakly.

“You better stay awake. My hand hurts and only you can massage it properly." Naraygeous stated with a smile that only infuriated Holan.

“I am starting to think that you are the one that was responsible for that pregnancy.” Holan said in disgust.

“Ho ho, I think you will have to be given a trophy and a lollipop for that guess.” Naraygeous mockingly answered him.

“And a name tag that says ‘I’m a good boy.’ ” Shays added insult to injury and this time Ronitte laughed too.

“Silence, you dare to mock me?” Holan’s body started to glow red as his true gamarax was unleashed. “I cannot let you live after insulting me like this.” Holan grimly said with a death glare. His dragon appeared behind him. “Zuza, dragon of lava, finish this.”

“Sir!” Shays desperately called out to Naraygeous.

“Take Lalina and her mother out of here. Things are about to get serious.” Naraygeous said to Shays with a serious look on his face.

“Yes sir!” Shays promptly answered.

Shays lifted Lalina off the ground and ran to the back of the mansion with Ronitte behind him. Ronitte broke down the door and dashed into the mansion. Panima heard Ronitte calling out to her and she rushed out of her bed room.

As soon as she was down, Ronitte grabbed her by the hand and pulled her out of the mansion. Holan’s dragon missed the two women with its tail and destroyed half of the mansion.

Panima looked back and saw her husband on his lava dragon furiously charging at Naraygeous on his dragon. She didn’t know whether that was going to be the last time she was ever going to see him.

She faced away and had a distant look on her face. Panima looked at her wedding rings. Shays and Ronitte silently watched her take them off. Panima looked back to Holan again. Her rings were clenched in her fist. She threw them toward him with all her might and they hit the side of his head.

Holan saw one roll off his dragon’s head and recognized it. He turned to see Panima glaring at him. “What is the meaning of this?” He furiously asked her.

“It means that we are through Holan!” Panima screamed at him, her voice harboured so much pain and anguish. “Look at what you have done to our daughter! I will never forgive you for this!”

“You think that you can walk out of my life at your will? I own you! You belong only to me! Get back in the house or you will be sorry!”

“Screw you Holan. You are a terrible husband and a pathetic father! You were never worthy of my love! I tolerated your abuse for so long because I thought that leaving you was going to harm our daughter but now I see that I was foolish to think so! I should have left the moment to beat me to hibernation when I was pregnant. No more! I want nothing to do with you ever again!”

“PANIMA!” Holan thundered.

“Let us go.” Panima said to Ronitte and Shays.

Ronitte opened a portal and Shays walked into it first with Lalina in his arms. Panima completely ignored Holan angrily calling after and commanding her to return to him. She got into the portal and Holan completely lost his mind.

He forgot about his fight with Naraygeous and went after her in rage. Ronitte got into the portal and it started to close behind her. Holan was about to jump into the portal when his dragon’s neck was wrapped by Naraygeous’s dragon tail and pulled back. In anguish, Holan helplessly watched the portal close completely.

Holan got furious with Naraygeous for stopping him. He took out his frustration on Naraygeous by attacking him with everything he had. Naraygeous held his ground against him and fought back with the same intensity. The two completely destroyed the mansion and neighborhood at large. They took the fight into the sky.

Further away was the epic battle between Sharaina and King Meelzib. Their dragons clashed thunderously against each other. The terrifying roars frightened Velan and his family including the guards that were watching over them.

The gruesome battle became so horrifying that the guards abandoned the chained up family and retreated. Nami couldn’t take her eyes off Sharaina. She watched her fight King Meelzib and was dumbfounded by her aggression. She had never seen Sharaina like that before.

King Meelzib was strong but even he admitted to himself that at that moment, Sharaina was monstrously strong. She savagely attacked him with no mercy. She picked him up by the neck and launched into the sky where she let him fall to the ground.

As he fell, she punched him all over his body and gave him one punch that sent him crushing deep into the ground. The impact so hard that it caused the buildings around to go crumbling down.

Sharaina focused her gamarax on King Meelzib and forcefully pulled him out of the ground. She sent him crushing into another building. The people that were hiding in the nearby buildings ran out screaming.

King Meelzib burst through the rubble and ran away. He couldn’t however, run fast enough due to his leg injury. Sharaina focused her gamarax on him and paralyzed him in the air. King Meelzib couldn’t even move his head.

Sharaina glared at him with her soulless beaming eyes. She let out a demonic scream that sent King Meelzib dragons and her dragons falling from the sky. They all backed away from her and gazed upon the protective shield around Sharaina that appeared to be like a ball of fire. Sharaina looked up to the moon and breathed fire.

“Lunar Beast! I summon you! Come out here so that we can talk beast to beast!” She said in a feminine and echoing demonic voice.

The sound of her voice terrified Light’s family. Nami scooted over to Velan and he let lean on his shoulder. The whole family looked on in horror. King Meelzib helplessly stared at Sharaina. He knew what she was about to do but he refused to go down that easy. He used his eyes to look for Umandaang but he couldn’t see him anywhere.

"Umandaang! Get over here now!" King Meelzib furiously commanded Umandaang.

"Hold on, I am on my way!" Umandaang hastily answered.

Within seconds, Umandaang appeared. He went straight for King Meelzib but was sent crushing down when Sharaina threw her blue sword at him. King Meelzib couldn’t believe the unconscious state of Umandaang with a sword waged deep into his heart. King Meelzib averted his eyes back at Sharaina. He glared at her as she stared deeply into the moon.

“Show yourself Lunar Beast or be put to shame forever due to cowardice!” Sharaina thundered.

To King Meelzib’s disbelief, the moon turned red again. It grew ten times its size and a bright light appeared. The Lunar Beast peered through the light and stared down at Sharaina who was glaring furiously at it.

The horrific sight terrified all the rebels and royal army to the point that they stopped fighting. They just stayed where they were looking on in fear. They literally didn’t know what to do and what to expect.

“You have someone who is mine and he is my life. Return him to me now.” Sharaina boldly told the Lunar Beast. “In return,” She gestured her hand to King Meelzib. “You will have him instead.”

“YOU WITCH OF A HARLOT!” King Meelzib vehemently cursed at Sharaina.

“You have been a foolish king. Your reign has been nothing but a curse upon Dark Star. Meelzib, you have no compassion for anyone but yourself. Because of you, I have lost so much. I will have to be forced to live with this pain while you will never ever show remorse for what you have done. How can you when you don’t even know the importance of loved ones? You have not only ruined my life, but have destroyed the lives of numerous in this kingdom. You have no idea how hard it is for me to stop myself from killing you right now. The more I look at you, the more I want to rip your head off. The only thing keeping me from doing so is that I love my husband more than I hate you. This is your downfall King Meelzib.”

Meelzib, one day you will fall so hard that you will never rise again. When that time comes, no one will mourn for you but they will rejoice at your absence. You will no longer be seen as royalty but as a nuisance. King Raglan’s words exploded in Meelzib’s ears.

“NO! THIS ISN’T MY DOWNFALL! I AM THE RIGHTFUL RULER OF DARK STAR! YOU ARE JUST A USELESS MIDDLE CLASS GIRL WHO HAS NO BUSINESS ON THE THRONE!” King Meelzib furiously yelled at Sharaina who was visibly unfazed by his words.

The Lunar Beast took its face off of the moon. Immediately it was gone, black chains shot out of the moon and wrapped themselves around King Meelzib who screamed angrily. The chains started to slowly pull him towards the portal in the moon. Everyone watched what was happening in shock.

“MARK MY WORDS SHARAINA, I WILL RETURN AND WHEN I DO, I WILL KILL YOU! I CURSE THE DAY THAT YOU WERE BORN! YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HAPPINESS! I HATE YOU WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!”

Sharaina looked on with her glowing eyes and had a blank look on her face. At no point did she show any emotion to what King Meelzib was saying to her. She watched him hurl insults at her until he finally disappeared into the portal and it closed.

The moon changed from bloody red to white. A bright glittery light appeared. Nami broke gasped when she saw her son floating down in the light. Velan and his daughters couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces when the saw Light.

Velna flew to Light and he gently landed on her back. She took him to Sharaina who was standing on a roof top. Sharaina lovingly held Light in her arms. Her wings disappeared along with her fangs. Her eyes were back to normal as she examined Light.

“You always look so peaceful when you are sleeping, my love. You have always been the one to save me but at least tonight, I was given the chance to save you. Now that I have you back, nothing and no one will ever separate us.” Sharaina emotionally said to Light and kissed his forehead.

Sharaina hugged Light tight in full view of everyone. Nami and Stariss felt so ashamed that they couldn’t hide it. Nami felt so ashamed that she broke down crying in Velan’s chest.

Velan couldn’t hold her so he rested his chin on her head as he shed tears of his own. His tears however, were those of joy. Jayniss and Lara shed their own tears of joy and embraced each other by putting their heads together.

Emelinia arrived in Dark Star with Zentz and Liss. They laughed joyfully when they saw Sharaina with Light and no sign of King Meelzib. A group of rebels shot a flare gun into the sky and a green bright light signifying Sharaina’s victory was seen in the sky.

Soon the sky was filled with green shooting lights that burst into a bright green light in the sky. The sounds of celebrating rebels roared throughout Cherilisia. Word that King Meelzib had been defeated spread like wild fire. The shooting of the green lights into the sky spread throughout the whole of Dark Star.

Jenu and his family laughed merrily at the sight of the lights in the sky. The surviving villagers of Gemhules immediately got into celebratory mode. They all felt so proud of Sharaina. They were even prouder that she was from their village.

Diavinx sat down and pulled out a little wine flask from his pocket. He drank his wine as he looked up at the sky. Naraygeous restrained the defeated and beaten Holan on the ground. He looked up at the sky and smiled at the lights.

Sevilon and Ouman couldn’t hide their happiness when they realized that Sharaina had won. Commander Lanray and Fed opted to escape in order to avoid arrest.

Mayla opened her eyes and the first thing she saw where the green exploding lights in the sky. She smiled to herself. She shifted her head and saw Geren healing her. When their eyes met, Geren's look of worry left him and he smiled warmly at Mayla. Mayla felt another hand on her forehead and she turned to see a female gamarax manipulator healing her too.

“Babe, I think she will be okay.” She said to Geren.

“Oh yes she will.” Geren answered back happily. Turning back to Mayla, he said. “You really gave me a scare there.”

The girl heard a man say that Nelex needed help and she got up. “Call me if you will need me.” She said to Geren and he nodded his head.

“For once, you have a good taste in women.” Mayla teasingly said to Geren.

“I don’t think I have ever had a bad taste.” Geren smiled at her.

“I am sorry.” Mayla said in a low tone but Geren shushed her.

“I have already forgiven you Mayla. You fell out of love with me and that’s something I have come to accept. Even though we can’t be together anymore, I will always be there for you.”

Mayla was dumbfounded with Gerebe’s words. Another green light was shot into the sky and they both shifted their attention to it.

“It looks like we are now friends with the supreme ruler of Dark Star.” Mayla laughed softly.

“Our Sharaina…I still can’t believe it.”

The royal army in Cherilisia deactivated their weapons and sent away their dragons. They all then got down on one knee and bowed before Sharaina. The rebels followed suit and bowed down. Sevilon and Ouman arrived at where Sharaina was and bowed down.

Emelinia, Zentz and Liss happily bowed down to Sharaina as well. Some guards went running to Velan and his family. They wasted no time in unlocking the chains that bound the family.

Nami was the first to rise up at her feet. She took a few steps in front and looked emotionally towards Sharaina who was still hugging Light. To the shock of her family, she dropped on both her knees and bowed down. Velan smiled at his daughters and bowed down on one knee. The girls chuckled amongst themselves and bowed down as well.

“The prophecy has finally come to pass.” Emelinia said and tears rolled down her cheeks.
