CHAPTER 124 THE END

It was a new dawn with favourable weather which favoured everyone including the habitat of the earth. It was 7am. The early morning sun shone brightly, smiling down at every living and non living thing present at that moment.

Like a handsome beast he was, he sat majestically on the couch inside his sitting room as he placed his two legs across each other, placing them on the fancy luxurious table in front of the

couch. Wearing just a singlet with shorts which showed his amazing and tempting body, amazing and attractive. Irresistible!!!

He held the television remote as he turned on the t.v. to watch one of his favourite types of movies. American movies, fighting and action movies to be precise.

He looked around the sitting room but didn't see any trace of Rose as he called her at the top of his voice.

"Rose! Rose! Rose!" He called but still didn't see her trace.

A moment later, he heard some footsteps which sounded like that of a person running towards him. He decided to turn towards the location the sound of the footsteps were coming from and when he did, he saw Rose running towards him as she panted heavily.

Seeing how troubled she looked, he swiftly stood from his seated position as he rushed towards her. He got to her and embraced her like a mother hen would embrace and protect its child against any harm.

"What happened? Why are you running? Who is chasing you and why are you sweating this way so early in the morning?" He asked, still hugging her passionately.

"Tell me what happened? Who is chasing you?" He asked again.

Rose continued to pant heavily as a drop of tears threatened to leave her eyes.

"Hey! Are you crying?" He asked, wiping her tears.

"Tell me who did this to you?" Said Mr. Evidence.

At this point, he got scared and worried about Rose. He feared that something or someone must have done something bad to her. The most confusing part was that he never stopped wondering why he cared about her so much that he even had to hug her this passionately and felt bad upon seeing her tears. He couldn't understand why he always felt hurt whenever he saw her crying or in pain.

"Tell me, did anyone hurt you?" He asked again as he took a deep sigh, pinching the skin in between his brows as he tried controlling the tears that were threatening to fall from his eyes too.

"Seeing how her face had turned red from the cry, he hugged her again passionately and planted a peck on her forehead.

"Seeing your tears is causing me pain. So tell me who did this to you." Said Mr. Evidence.

"I… i…" she stammered as a sob followed.

"You what?" He curiously asked.

"I crashed something and…" she sobbed.

"And what?" He asked again.

"This morning, I went out so early to buy you something to eat. Your favourite food… but because I wanted to come back early, i drove one of the cars but the issue now is…" she teared up.

"Continue. What is the issue?" He asked.

"The issue is that when I came back, in the process of parking the car in the garage, I mistakenly crashed your Lamborghini. I'm sorry." She pleaded as she continued to cry but what she saw confused her.

She saw Mr. Evidence burst into laughter. He laughed out loud that His voice attracted most of the servants that were around. They wondered why he was laughing so loud and even Rose also wondered.

'Is he running mad now?' Rose said inwardly to herself.

"Hey! You crashed my car and so? Was that the reason you were crying?" He asked and Rose sobbed and nodded.

"Yes." She replied.

"I did and that's why I'm willing to take any punishment you give to me. In fact, i want to work as your caregiver without being paid at all. I can't repay the damages and now I'm indebted to you…" said Rose as she continued to cry.

The moment Mr. Evidence heard Rose's statement, he felt familiar with those words. He tried remembering where he once saw something as familiar as that but couldn't remember a thing.

He continued to try very hard to remember but then, while he tried so hard to remember, he could now remember some shadows of persons but couldn't see their faces. He remembered how those shadows argued for sometime about a crashed car and he also remembered a male harsh voice forcing a young lady to be his caregiver. He wondered who they were and wished he could clearly remember their faces. The harder he tries to remember their faces, the more he stresses his brain.

Rose saw Mr. Evidence's reaction as she smiled inwardly. She knew and was happy that the idea David brought was working on him. She saw how Mr. Evidence held his head as he staggered backwards.

"Are you okay?" She asked and he nodded but then, he staggered backwards again and this time, Rose was convinced that if she doesn't hold him, he may fall to the ground and injure himself.

She rushed and held him and that was the exact moment he almost fell to the ground. Rose was quick to hold him but even though he had lots of weight, she tried her very best to uphold him from falling.

"Help!!! Help!!! Help!!!" She called as the maids rushed out, including Daniel and David who got home so late last night. Everyone rushed towards Mr. Evidence as David took his phone and called Annabel to tell her the current issue on ground. After a short while, Mara and Annabel arrived at Mr. Evidence's house and rushed him to the hospital.

Mean while,Crystabel had tried her best to locste Mr. Evidence's house but couldn't because he no longer live where he used to live the first time he knew him as his sex partner. She tried her best to get his address from the hospital where he had his operation but she was disappointed. All she did was give up and wished she crosses path with him some day.

At Annabel's hospital…

After they took Mr. Evidence to the hospital, the nurses rushed him to one of the luxurious hospital rooms as they waited for Annabel to attend to Mr. Evidence since she was the doctor In Charge.

A moment later, Annabel left Mr. Evidence's hospital room after she had given him the necessary treatment as she walked back to meet everyone at the reception.

"How is he now? Is he okay? Hope nothing would happen to him?" Rose asked the moment Annabel got to them.

"Sister." Annabel called Rose as she smiled.

"Yes… is he okay?" Rose asked again.

"He was asking about you." Said Annabel.

"He asked about me?" Rose Curiously asked. " Can I see him please?" Rose pleaded and Annabel nodded.

"Yes you can." Annabel replied as Rose smiled, running towards Mr. Evidence while every other person ran after her.

Reaching there, she saw Mr. Evidence already standing on his feet, looking outside through the window with his two hands placed inside his pocket. The sound of an opening door made him divert his gaze towards the door and when he did, he saw Rose standing as he watched her tears pour down uncontrollably.

Seeing her cry, he rushed towards her and gave her a passionate hug. He kissed her forehead as his eyes teared up.

"I remember everything about my baby." Said Mr. Evidence as he hugged her again for the second time. Rose heard his statement as her tears never stopped flowing.

That was the scene that caught everyone's eyes as they walked in with a sparkling smile on their faces.

"I remember all the moments we have ever shared." Said Mr. Evidence as his grip on Rose's Body tightened, causing Rose to let out a cry of smile. They hugged each other for some time. Looked like he has regained his memories but suddenly, Rose pushed Mr. Evidence away as she ran towards the restroom with Mara and Annabel running after her. Rose got to the restroom and threw up which got her two friends scared. After a while, Mara and Annabel helped her to clean up before helping her out of the restroom.

Once they were out, Annabel ran some pregnancy tests on Rose and realized she was pregnant. Everyone heard the news and was so excited including Mr. Evidence as they all lived their lives happily ever after.

Daniel got married to Mara. David got married to his crazy girl friend called Annabel while Mr. Evidence got married to his pregnant lovely girlfriend called Rose.

They all lived happily.
