Chapter 110: Chapter 110

At Annabel's home…

They were all awake already and was now seated at the dinning, taking their breakfast. It was a delicious meal as usual prepared by one of the cook.

As they ate, they discussed.

"The next time we visit the hospital, I'll go with some drugs so the doctor can inject it into Mr. Evidence's drip. I'm sure the drugs will help him heal fast. It would do alot on his brain."

Said Crystabel as she continued to eat while the rest didn't say a word but instead, they didn't stop eating including Rose.

After the atmosphere have been calm for sometime, Daniel decided to speak.

"I'll be going to see my boss today. He said he has a case he wants me to handle… Yes! Before I forget, David, what'sup?" He asked and David who didn't understand gaze up at Daniel in confusion.

"What's up for?" David asked.

"I mean Mr. Evidence's company. Now that he isn't strong yet, we should also try to put an eye on his company so nothing goes wrong. Since I'll be going to the court today, maybe you should visit his company and check if everything is going on fine." Daniel instructed.

"Sure! I already had that in mind. Was just looking for a better time to let you know but since you already have the same idea with me, I guess it's perfect then."

Said David as he stretched out his right hand towards the glass of juice that was placed in front of him on the table and it was obvious the juice was his and once his hand got hold of it, he slowly directed it to his mouth and took a sip of it before returning the glass of juice back to it's position.

He swallowed.

"So girls, you all will be staying at home right? Or you have somewhere to go?" David asked as Annabel replied.

"Yes baby, we would be going out. Actually, I want to take the girls out. May be to chill somewhere and…" Annabel couldn't finish her statement because Rose had interrupted.

"Aren't we going to the hospital today?" She curiously asked, holding her spoon half way to her mouth and was waiting for a reply before scooping in the meal into her mouth.

Unto hearing her question, they paused and was unable to eat again as they divertes theur attention towards Rose. After sometime, they all silently sighed but didn't make it obvious. They thought of how to make Rose understand that they must not visit the hospital always and even if they do, the doctor won't still allow them go into Mr. Evidence's hospital room to see him.

While Rose sat and was still waiting for a reply from any of them, she spoke again.

"What time are we going to the hospital?" Rose asked again.

Everyone was mute and didn't know what to say to her but then, Annabel had to say something.

"Sister, we would visit him tomorrow. You know the doctor said he needs to rest right? So don't worry, let him rest today and tomorrow, I promise you we will visit him." Annabel calmly replied.

The moment Rose heard Annabel's reply, she became mute for sometime. She knew Annabel was right. No matter how she had missed Mr. Evidence, she thought of doing the right thing.

"Okay, sister." Said Rose as they all resumed eating but after few minutes, a thought ran through Daniel's head.

"Wait guys… David once told us he has a plan but he haven't told us what the plan is all about yet. Can we hear it Now?" Daniel impatiently asked.

"Yes, baby. You are right." Mara replied while Rose continued to eat her food and never bothered to say a word.

"Tell us baby." Said Annabel. In less than 2 seconds, David stared at each and every one's faces and then he cleared his throat before talking.

"Not today. Maybe tomorrow?"

"Huh? Tomorrow?" They asked same time, being disappointed to hear what they just did.

"Are you sure you really have a plan like you have said or you were just joking around." Daniel who was a clown asked.

David gave a short and quick smile.

"I have no words for you Daniel." Said David.

"Maybe you have joined me to be a clown so i won't actually be surprise if you finally tell us at the end you had no plan." Said Daniel.

David immediately replied.

"You are always a joker and that's why you think everyone is same as you."

"Being a joker is fun. It has helped me win so many cases and I think you should join me." Daniel crazily replied.

"No, thank you." Said David.

They all laughed aloud after hearing David's reply but Rose didn't join them. She just concentrated on her food, trying to force herself to finish it. She was just moody.

After few minutes, everyone finished their meal including Rose because she had requested for little.

"I'll be in my room now." Said Rose. She stood and walked towards the location of her room and once she got to the door, she pushed it open and went it.

David and Annabel stood from the dining chair as they both walked towards Annabel's room while Daniel and Mara also stood and walked towards Mara's room.

While going, Annabel's phone rang and when she looked on her phone screen, she saw it was drake, who was calling.

Unto realizing that, she spoke inwardly to herself.

"Why is this fool calling me now?."

She sighed and meanwhile, David who was walking beside her didn't notice or know the reason she sighed. Unto seeing her sigh, he looked at her and smiled.

Few minutes later, they got into the room but because Annabel wasn't comfortable to pick the call in David's presence, she had to come up with something.

"Baby, I'll be right back. Let me check up on Rose. You can prepare and I'll meet you soon."

Said Annabel. With her phone still on her hand, she swiftly walked out of her room and when she was sure David wasn't following her, she walked into one of the empty rooms that was meant for visitors. Once she got there, since her phone was still ringing, she decided to pick up.

With a harsh but a low tone voice, she spoke.

On the phone…

"What do you want?" Annabel asked.

"You haven't called for my service for days now so I thought of calling you to know if you are okay." Said Drake.

"I'm okay. Don't call me again." Annabel angrily replied and ended the call at once.

She slowly took a deep breath, in and out before she finally walked out of the room, walking back towards her room.

Few minutes later, they all prepared. Daniel was ready to go see his boss while David was also ready to visit Mr. Evidence's company to see how it has been running so far without his presence.

"I'm leaving now." Said David as he kissed Annabel. Walking out of Mara's room and heading towards the exit door that was located at the sitting room. But then, David heard a voice.

"Wait for me."

That voice came from Daniel who rushed out of Mara's room and ran towards David.

David heard the voice and waited. He turned back and then got surprised on why Daniel was running towards him in such a manner.

"I should wait for you? Why? Aren't you driving to your boss's place?" David curiously asked.

"No. I don't want to drive. I'll join you since we are going to the same location." Daniel replied as David shook his head and sighed.

"Alright then. Let's go." Said David.

Daniel walked towards David as they both left together, leaving the girls at home.

"Are they gone?" Rose who came out of her room asked.

"Yes, they have." Mara replied as she walked towards Rose and Annabel followed as well. They got close to Rose and embraced her, giving her a warm and a passionate hug the same time.

While they hugged her, Rose felt comfortable like a baby whose mother had embraced.

"Let's go and prepare girls." Said Annabel as the three of them went into Rose's room towards Roses bathroom. They got there and undressed themselves and walked into Rose's bathroom.

"We are going to take a bath together." Said Annabel as Rose and Mara smiled.

"Ok... I'm gonna splash you girls with lots of water. Remember the last time, i won right? I'm always the champion." said Mara as Rose and Annabel couldn't stop laughing.

The three of them went into the bathroom to take their bath and after bathing, they walked towards Roses bed where they had already arranged their dress. It was a Jean skirt, a very short Jean skirt and a black polo long sleeve. They wore their dresses and put on some light makeup and after that, they wore the shoe of the same design and colour which was a white canvas.

After their preparation, they walked out of the building, heading towards Annabel's car and as they got there, Annabel instructed her driver to drive the car while they sat in the back seat. It was a Lamborghini and it was red in colour.

The car accelerated heading towards a new Pleasure Park that was built a few days ago.

After a few minutes of driving, they finally got to their destination. The driver parked the car with the help of the security men who instructed them on where to park while the girls climbed out of the car and walked towards the entrance of the pleasure park to enjoy themselves especially to make Rose feel happy and not crying always.

Meanwhile, David and Daniel had already gotten to their destination as well. Daniel's boss's office was very close to the CEO's company and that was while David had to park the car at Mr. Evidence's company.

Daniel walked a few steps towards his boss's office while David walked into the condom company to see how everything was going. It was fortunate that everything was going perfectly fine. All he did was to monitor the invoice of the company and sign some documents.

At Daniel's boss's office...

"Good day boss. Here I am." Said Daniel the moment he entered into his boss's office and took his seat. Feeling comfortable and welcomed.

"Yes, I called you. Here are the files, go through them and let me know what you think about it. It's a case of one late rich man. He was one of the richest men but died last month. The issue on the ground is that he hasn't been buried yet. His body is nowhere to be found and secondly, his property was stolen from him by one of his trusted men. But well, that man has been caught with his subjects and awaiting for their final verdict. He has 2 daughters but as research may have it, his two daughters are dead. The reason for this case is that his family demands for his property to be restored back to them. I mean… they want the property's name to belong to them and not that of Deon." Said Daniel's boss.

"Deon?" Daniel curiously asked the moment he heard Deons name. Especially when he also heard his boss say the late man in question has two daughters and they were already dead.

"They thought Mara was dead?" Daniel asked himself inwardly.

Daniel was mute for some time but then, his boss realized how quiet and confused he looked and decided to ask.

"Why are you mute?" He asked as Daniel blinked, sighed and pinched the skin in between his brows which signified that he had snapped out of his dazed state.

"Mute?" Daniel asked.

"I'm not mute boss." He forced a smile. "Actually, I have heard all you have said and as for the documents, I'll be going home with them. I'll personally handle the issue. You don't need to worry about it please sir." Daniel replied.

"Good." His boss replied.

"Is there anything else you would want me to do?" Daniel politely asked as his boss shook his head which showed that he didn't want his service at that moment.

"Okay boss. I'll be taking my leave now." Said Daniel as he stood up from his seat, shook his boss's hand, accompanied by a slight bow.

After they shook their hands, Daniel finally left.
