Chapter 21: Chapter 21

Joanna's POV

As we strolled around, I felt like I was being watched or followed, even when we purchased our ice-creams I could've sworn I saw a shadow swish past me.

"Elvis? let's go find mom and dad," I blurted, shuddering slightly.

"Why? He polled confused. "We haven't even tasted our ice-cream yet."

"Okay then." I nodded, and swallowed my fright.

While I devoured the Ice-cream I suddenly heard footsteps coming towards us, followed by a slightly familiar voice.

"Hey bro," The owner of the voice spoke, this made me groan internally and silently prayed it wasn't who I presumed.

"Frank my man how are you?" Elvis smirked, his eyes on someone behind me.

Oh no, please let it be another Frank, please GOD, please. I silently pleaded.

"I'm good bro." The voice replied,  accompanied by someone who came into view and did that weird handshake boys do, with Elvis.

"How do you guys know each other?" I interrogated after my suspicions were confirmed, seeing as the only Frank I knew stood before me.

"Oh hey Ana, how are you?" He greeted in a question before he tugged me in for a hug that left my skin tingling and my mind in a state of shock at the same time.

"Long story," Elvis told, in response to my earlier query, and offered me that weird look he sent my way the other time when he slipped and was about to tell me something but caught himself in time while we talked in his car, plus on that Saturday morning of my hangover.

I'm sure y'all are familiar with that look someone gives when they know something that you don't? yeah, that was the one he lent me.

"I'm fine," I responded. "And how are you everywhere?"

He didn't answer, rather he provided me that heart-stopping smile of his and winked. "You know I'm your guardian angel."

The instant he said that another memory flashed through my mind. "Don't be scared Ana I'm your guardian angel," He said and smiled at me, slowly easing my fear.

Why do I keep getting all these flashbacks and memories? I thought to myself as I peered at him.

"Sis, sis! are you guys coming?" Elvis called out in a question, a knowing smirk on his lips, that resulted in me blushing as I took note of two pairs of eyes that stared at me strangely hence I was caught ogling Frank.

"I'm coming!" I retorted in a high-pitched tone which further increased my embarrassment.

With my hair down, I trudged around the mall beside them before Frank suggested we cut our journey at a play station, which we did, after which I was asked to choose a game, so I chose a car racing game.

"Thanks for choosing that sis," Elvis smirked and cracked his knuckles. "You both are going down."

Frank just shrugged in response while I smirked back at Elvis and positioned myself in a strong stance with my ass slightly pushed out.

"Set?" Elvis voiced out while Frank just stood hypnotized and stared at my ass.

"Hey!" I waved a palm in his face a small smile on my face.

Score: 1 for Joanna.

I turned to Elvis and bestowed him a questioning look, "Aren't you angry that someone is gawking at your little sister's ass?"

"Nah," he declined. "If that someone is him, then I'm definitely okay with it but any other person is dead meat."

"Francis!" I called again and snapped my fingers in his face this time.

"Ooh! what did I miss." He clamored, after which he rubbed his eyes, the same moment I shook my head and Elvis snickered.

"Let's play!" I yelled going into game mode. It was fun, and I won the first round, kicking Frank out of the game, leaving me with Elvis in the final round.

"Go baby go!" Frank cheered. "Kick his ass real good."

I laughed while Elvis gave him the finger.

"THE END! woo hoo!" I screamed and fist-bumped the air as Elvis grumbled obscenities under his breath.

"Uh-huh, I won, uh-huh, who rock the world, girls! Who rock the world, girls!" I sang in a loud tone, slowly twirling my hips in a victory dance before I turned to hug Frank who chuckled and kissed my forehead afterward.

What the! I exclaimed internally, my mouth agape in awe of the unexpected gesture and how my body reacted to it, especially the skin which his lips touched.

He pulled away hastily when Elvis cleared his throat, feeling slightly shocked by his actions while I flushed, flustered.

"Bro let's go hunt for hot girls," Elvis said in a grin, an excited look in his eyes.

"Nah I'm good," Frank answered with a faraway smile.

"By the way bro any girl you dating?" Elvis quizzed and smirked in my direction, unexpectedly I sensed my heart freeze, awaiting Frank's reply though I was not sure why I did as it wasn't any of my business if he was dating or not.

"Nope, never, I had a crush once but circumstances decided against it." Frank reacted in a sad tone that made me release a breathe I didn't know I was holding in relief.

"But now I've found her, I'll be damned if I let her go." He continued and unknowingly crushed my soul, but the reason he gazed at me when he said that was totally beyond me.

Frank's POV

I saw her standing with her parents and Elvis but I didn't want to feel like a stalker so I tried to get away fast though I couldn't stay away from her any longer after I caught one guy staring at her ass as she walked around with Elvis.

The way she rolled her hips before starting the game had me hypnotized such that I didn't know how long I was out for.

And when she gyrated her hips after she won the game had me recalling how that ass felt on my skin the night of the party as she ground on me plus how it felt to hold that tiny waist in my palms Damn it!

I wanted to kiss her so bad but knowing that is impossible, I  settled for a peck on her forehead. It shocked me that she won though hence I've never met a girl who could beat a guy at car racing.

Thank GOD it was Elvis because I would have gotten a sound beating from any other guy for kissing his little sister.

I love her so much that I have to take things slow, at the same time hoping it wouldn't be too late when she knows.
