Chapter 27: Chapter 27

“I want Leo back!”  I emphasize every word.

"Funny!  Who do you think you are to say that in front of me?”  She looked at me with disdain.  I smiled softly.

“My name is Brittany, today I am here as the incumbent Chairman of Sartun Warren Beatty  to reclaim Leo - heir of Sartun Warren Beatty corporation.”  I say.

“Leo is also the heir to my corporation!”  She also tried to raise her voice and argue with me.

“You know the multinational corporation through Evee Ynes Burberry has just gone bankrupt, right?  Do you believe that I just need to enter one key and the corporation that your husband built for decades will disappear like it never existed?

“…” She was silent, her face started to change color, I smirked, I scared her so much.

“I gave her twenty-four hours to make a final decision.  One is to give Leo back, the other is…something she understands herself.  If you don't pay, remember to call me soon so I can prepare documents to sue you!  Goodbye!"  I stood up, put down a business card, and left.  Let me see how big your liver is.

I was sitting at home watching TV when my phone rang.  Simon, why is he calling me now, perhaps inviting me to his engagement to Myouin.

“I listen!”  I said softly, my hand tightening on the phone so that in case there is bad news, the phone will not fall to the ground.

“You pack all your luggage!”  He said softly.

"For what?"  Why did you suddenly ask me to pack my luggage?

"You listen to me just once, tomorrow Anne will go to France.  And I want you…tomorrow we will meet at Tan Son Nhat airport at eight o'clock.  I remember, must come.  Hello!"  I didn't have time to react.  What is this?  What does Anne have to do with France?

Still, I stood up and packed all my luggage into the suitcase.  I couldn't sleep all night, my heart was filled with anxiety.  What will happen here?

At seven o'clock I dragged my suitcase out of the house, he was already on a business trip, so I couldn't tell him.  I had to say that later.

Standing at the airport, my heart remembers about that day.  I smiled involuntarily.

“Hey buddy!”  Where did Anne come out?

"What's up?"  I turned to ask.

“You know I'm going abroad, so come…go together?”  He asked, I honestly don't know how to answer.

In the distance, I saw Simon getting out of the taxi, holding Leo in his arms, and I saw what he was saying to him.  He walked quickly near the check-in area but his eyes did not forget to look around.  I also immediately dragged my luggage and ran towards it.  Anne saw this and ran after her.

Simon stopped, I just ran over.  The two stood facing each other and time seemed to stand still.

“Mother… mother.” Leo reached out his hand for me to carry.  I hugged the boy.

"Boy!"  Tears flowed from my eyes, it's been almost a year since I met my son, now he's so big, he can talk now.  The boy hugged my neck.

"I brought Leo back to you, he deserves to be with his mother!"  Simon said.

“What is this about?”  Anne, who had been silent until now, spoke up.

“Here are two plane tickets to France, on the same flight as Anne.  I want you to take Leo there, wait a few years and come back.  If possible, I hope you will not return to Switzerland again.  There are too many sad things here, you should forget and start a new life.  Hurry up, I've finished all the procedures.  Here's your new passport, hurry before my family comes to arrest Leo again."  He said, I put Leo on the ground.  Anne is very smart, hearing that, she took Leo's hand and went quickly into the wing area.  Simon leaned down and kissed Leo lightly on the forehead, the boy seeming nostalgic for his father.  "Scat!"  He urged.

"I'm leaving, thank you!  This is the last time we see each other!”  I turned away quickly.  When I was about to step inside, he shouted my name.

“Brittany!”  I stopped, turned around, he ran towards me very quickly.  I don't know what's happening right now.  Gently he leaned down and kissed me on the lips.  A goodbye kiss.  It's just that goodbye is so deep that I can't bear to leave it, my heart breaks, it hurts, it hurts.  Two lines of tears rolled down his face, he also cried.  Tears of both of them mixed together with the bitter kiss.  Salty, the taste of love is here.

Loving him leaves my lips.  This is the first time I see him cry.  My heart ached like someone rubbing salt.

"Remember this, even if the world is turned upside down, no matter what happens, in this life, in this life, I will love only you!"  This oath is not to be trusted but I will believe, I will always believe.

"I love you!  I will take it to heart!”  I turned away quickly.  It's over, the pink love story that I drew with you every day is now over.  In this life, in this life, I only want to love you.

A year later in the capital of light.

Since the day I left Simon, my personality has been completely quiet.  I smile less, talk less.  Every time Leo ran, he asked, "Mom, when will we see Dad?"  my heart is bitter.  As long as I don't know, son.  Maybe we won't see them forever.

Anne and I were sent money by our family to buy a small house in this prosperous capital.  Not very large, located right in front of the bustling fashion street, people pass by.  Taking advantage of being located in the front, I opened a small flower shop to trade to ease my boredom.  Anyway, maybe next year I will go to England to live with my aunt, so this job is only temporary.

Since yesterday, my English level has improved markedly.  If you live between the West and the West, if you can't speak English, you'll be dumb as a mussel.

Every year I change my style.  This year too, from a village girl, I changed into a good girl.  Curly hair has now been straightened, falling long at the back.  Wearing a pure white dress, no one thinks I have a baby.

This flower shop is very expensive, and people come to buy it every day.  The French girl next door who opens a fashion shop often comes over to buy flowers for display or teases that "the shop owner is more beautiful than the flowers on sale!"  I just laughed then.

There are many guys who come to buy flowers just to sit and talk with me, and I teach them how to take care of flowers.  And I also broke many guys' hearts when they confessed to me.  Simply because I don't deserve them and I still love Simon very much.

Tonight, like always, I coaxed Leo to sleep, then I went back to Facebook to talk to him.  He told me a lot of things that happened in Switzerland, but he never mentioned Simon at all.  He said that due to debauchery, Kristen's sister was caught in the disease of the century, half dead and half dead.  And Mr. Robert Wang bent his back to pay the debt.  From a corporation president, he now has to work as a security guard for a small factory.  I am quite pleased with the result.  Turning off the phone, lying down next to Leo, I remember Simon again, remember the kiss of the day we left.  Tears suddenly flowed from my eyes.

"Mom, why are you crying?"  Leo asked me.

"Mom didn't cry, why didn't you sleep?"  I wiped my tears with my hand and smiled at him.

"Obviously Mom's crying, doesn't she miss Dad like Leo misses Dad?"  He used his tiny hand to wipe my tears.  He's as gentle as his father.

"It's okay, go to sleep.  Miss Anne will take me out tomorrow.  Sleep early, wake up early!”  He was very obedient, I patted him a few times and he fell asleep.  Yes, I am missing your father, I miss you so much.

The next morning, I was wrapping green roses when a customer came to buy.  I let my hair down to cover one side of my face so I couldn't see this guest's face.  After walking around the shop, he sat down next to me.

"Can you tell me what kind of rose represents love?"  He is Swiss, speaks Vietnamese very well.

"Blue Rose.  Blue roses represent eternal love!”  I replied, smiling slightly.  Unexpectedly, in a foreign land, I could still meet my compatriots.

“Get me a bunch!”  When I finished wrapping the flowers and gave them to him, he held my hand tightly.  I pulled my long hair back and looked up to see who was so ridiculous.  Two eyes met, ash gray eyes filled with sadness, gentle smile warm sunshine.  The face that I longed to remember day and night stood in front of me.  It's him-Simon.  I smile, he smiles.

"When did you come here?"  I asked, honestly I don't know what to say right now.

"Last night, this morning, I was looking for you!"  He answered.

"How did you know I was here?"

“Baekhyun give me the address!”

“What are you doing here?  No…” At this point, I left the rest of the sentence open.

“Yes, I came here to invite you to Switzerland for my wedding!”  He smiled happily.  How's the wedding?  Is he not joking?  Does he think I'm noble enough to go to the wedding of the one I love?

“Wedding…wedding…why?”  I asked again to be sure, afraid I heard wrong.

“Yes, back to Switzerland for my wedding.  You have to be present, I personally came over here to invite you to my wedding to be my bride, but you refuse, I will die here for you to see!"  As he spoke, he took out a ring from his pocket, the one that I threw into the sea that day.  "Agree to be my bride, baby!"  What is this?  I couldn't understand anything.

"Mom, give me, take away, I'm sad!"  Where did Leo run out?  Tears welled in my eyes, I couldn't say anything more, I kept nodding.

"I agree!"

"Thank you!"  He hugged me, this is probably the happiest day of my life.

"Aren't you nervous?"  Anne went into the room to get ready, and she told me that it blew my mind.

“So excited!”  I bit my lip to answer, holding my wedding dress.

“Calm down, you are beautiful!  I really want to be as nervous as you!”  He put his hand on my shoulder and smiled.  He pointed to the mirror "Your face is very happy!"

My brother came in, he stood with his arms crossed, looked at me and smiled slightly.  I turned to look at him.

“Is there something wrong with me?”  I asked and looked in the mirror.

"No, I don't know how to pat your head now!"  He laughs.  I'm so nervous I want to die and you're joking.  “Three years of suffering have passed, and my sister is finally happy.  The end of three years!”  He kissed me lightly on the forehead, and I smiled.

Standing in front of the wedding road, my heart wants to drop.  This is the first time I'm so nervous.  At the end of the road there was Simon waiting, he was smiling.

He led me into the cathedral, surrounded by applause from everyone.  I didn't dare look around for fear that people would see my blushing face due to shyness.  He gave my hand to Simon and, in the voice of a president, said:

“If you make my sister cry, I will let you die without a body!  Remember that!”  He smiled.

“I remember that!”  Simon replied.

Simon and I turned to face the vicar.  Father looked at us with a gentle smile.

“Simon, do you agree to marry Brittany?  Whether rich or poor, sick or healthy.  The children will always be together.  Do you agree?"  The priest asked.

"I agree!"  Simon replied.

“Do you agree?”

"I agree!"

“Do you agree?”

"I agree!"  He smiled at me when he finished answering for the third time.

“Brittany, do you agree to marry Simon?  Whether rich or poor, sick or healthy.  The children will always be together.  Do you agree?"  The priest asked me.

"I agree!"  I replied lightly.

“Do you agree?”

"I agree!"

“Do you agree?”

"I agree!"

“Children, give each other rings!”  The priest presented a pair of beautiful rings that had been prepared in advance.  “You are officially husband and wife!  You can take off your veil and kiss the bride!”  Simon gently removed the veil that had been covering my face for a while.  He gently lifted my chin, looked into my eyes, and said softly:

"You are very beautiful!"  I smile.

"Kiss, kiss, kiss!"  The whole church was buzzing with excitement.

"I kiss you!"  I'm afraid to die, why should I ask for permission?  I nodded slightly.  He leaned down to kiss me, sweet, not as harsh as when we parted.  The whole cathedral seemed to stop time, everything was silent, so silent that I could hear my heartbeat.

"Oh no, you shouldn't have seen this!"  Leo suddenly spoke loudly, making everyone laugh.  I pushed Simon away, turning to look at the boy, who was leaning against Anne.  Anne just stood there smiling.

This wedding would be more complete if there were Simon's mother and my parents, but I think it's not necessary, they have brought me too much pain, so this happy day of mine would be better without them.
