Chapter 9: Chapter 9
“I got a surprise for you at home.” Aarav said giving them a sly smile. “SURPRISEE WOW, WHAT IS IT? WHAT IS IT? SAY SAY PLEASEE!” Aananya screamed in their faces all excited.
“Well baby doll, in London did they teach you a different definition of surprise by any chance?” Aarav aske covering his ears. “Hehe” She just giggled. “Guys? Can we like, leave from her please, QUICK?” Aarnav asked looking around.
“Why what’s wrong?” She asked curious. Unknown to the Bollywood news reporter’s power. “You see, tomorrow me and your brother will be all over the news saying we are spotted with a hot girl outside the airport. Then there will scandals all over.” Aarnav said once looking around to spot the cameras.
“So, you finally agree I’m hot, huh brother?”
“No I don’t. But I know what media will write.” He replied.
“Please, brother. Don’t exaggerate. Your jokes are now as old as you are.” She replied back showing her tongue while snuggling to her eldest brother.
“Point one. I’m only 25yrs old. And that is still considered young.” Poor Aarnav huffed and pouted.
“He’s not kidding babydoll. This is Mumbai not London. Here they do keep an eye on us for everything. Rich families like ours are like tea for the commoners.” Aarav said giving a kiss to her template.
“Damn this seems really bad. Let’s go quick” She finally said and started dragging them with her towards their vehicle.
Location: Oberio Mansion
As soon as they entered the Mansion, the servants were already standing in a line waiting for their arrival.
“Young mistress is home.” The old butler said with a smile on his face.
Aarnav dismissed the other servants after handing them over the luggage and coats.
As the servants dispersed, Ananya went in for a bear hug with the butler. “I missed you so much Kaka. You know I used to always think about you.” She said giving a bright smile. Kaka just laughed, “Of course you will miss me, did the princess eat healthy food?”
“Uff Kaka, Why do you always ask this. See I’m healthy.”
“No no, you look like you lost a lot of weight. I’ll go prepare the table.” He said, and with that he left to do the preparations.
“Let’s go see your room that we designed exclusively for you.” The eldest brother Aarav said.
“Let's go see your room, which we designed just for you.” Aarav, the eldest brother, stated. “Go check your room, cupcake, and let us know if any alterations are required. Okay?” The second brother said, "Aarnav."
“Do you think I'll make any modifications after you've both done it for me?” Ananya exclaimed, adoringly looking at them. “Actually, Aarav was the one who established the room from the beginning.” Admitting the truth, Aarnav said. “Aarav, are you serious?” She inquired, her huge round eyes wide with surprise.
“Ah haha,” Aarav laughed lightly as he rubbed the back of his neck. “It's not that big of a problem, guys.”
“Still,” she says as she runs to the room her brothers had created for her. She walked inside a spacious room. The walls were constructed of marble, while the floors were made of coloured tiles organised in jagged patterns. One side of the room wall was covered with glass windows, revealing additional views of the city and the mountains to the east. A comfortable queen-sized circle bed with bed nets hung around it sat in the centre of the room. She spotted a glass partition on the left side.
A frosted glass partition separated the room from a private office. Silk banners hung from the ceiling. Polished stone pedestals held golden and silver mannequins portraying nude female body. The room also had a projector screen and white boards for her to make and do her work. Everything in the room was rich and lavish; Ananya found herself awed, and glad that she had a place so luxurious, thanks to her dear brothers. On the other side of the room she noticed another set of pastel colour doors.
Through the set of pastel colour doors is a frosted glass partition for privacy, as she passed it, it revealed a wide-open space with a lot of doors. The looked much like the lobby, only instead of statues and banners there were mirrors and display screens. Contrasting with the bright floors and the bright exterior view, there was a black table and a set of sofas on one end of the room, made of a rare dark organic wood.
As she checked these doors one by one, it revealed to be a bathroom, a dressing room, a drying room, a makeup room and rest rooms had her clothes and accessories. The colour and brightness are perfect in mostly every way possible. It instantly became her favourite part of the house because she could do what she likes in there, and yet not get disturbed. The best part of the room is the furniture and layout. The size of the bedroom is the largest out of the rest of the families’ rooms.
She was once again awe struck. As she walked out she saw her brothers standing near her bedroom door. And as soon as she saw them, she jumped upon her eldest brother, Aarav. “Aarav, this is beautiful! More than just beautiful. I can’t even describe it.” She said hugging him and thanking him again and again.
At first poor Aarav was shocked at her sudden burst but then seeing her thank so much and be so happy , he finally felt like he won the million-dollar deal. He smiled and caressed her hair. “I’m glad you like it. Now off to bed. Tomorrow you have the first day of university. So off to sleep, sweetheart.”
