Out of all the blunders of my life, this would be the biggest one!
Mr Blake Jensen, the CEO of Jensen's industry out of nowhere decided to kiss me without my permission ahead of everyone!
I heard some of the clicks then my mind started working, as I have no idea what came to me? Why did I become the dead frozen girl? Why I didn't push him?
I should have slapped him too! What is wrong with him?
But before I could do anything, I was not in the same position anywhere, suddenly all the lights went dim, reading the colour of nothing in my life and soft music started playing, what's the intention of this music?
What is going to happen next?
I felt strong arms around my waist, one was holding and another was asking or maybe demanding for me to accept his offer of dance!
I didn't, he grabbed it anyway, making it very clear that he is the boss here!
Then at the next moment, his legs were doing magic and I was following his lead because I had to.
"What are you doing here with him?" His voice was fragile for a second then so powerful at next, making me regret even more why I decided to come here.
"All the employees are present here and I am one of them," I stared at him for his spurious question that was not making any sense to me.
"He is not my employee," the anger was radiant in his voice, his hands were cold as an iceberg while mine was hot as a busted volcano. We both were radiating the colour of storms with each other.
"Then he is your colleague, or maybe a friend?" I tiptoed when his hands were still right around my waist.
What the hell is wrong with him?
"He is my enemy!" A tint to betrayal appeared in his eyes then vanished soon.
What does he mean he is his enemy?
"Excuse me ?" I rose one of my eyebrows to take a look at his sincerity of words, his depths of eyes and most of all his straight, collapsed exposure.
"Why did you come here with him?" He ignored my deathly stares and my last quest, why was he nervous?
As the lines on his forehead were getting creaked again and again,
"Mr Jensen this event of yours had a theme to come with a date," words were already in the flow when he spurs me around in a circle so I can land on his hands,
Now, his eyes were more intense and calculated than ever before.
"You shouldn't have come with him," he hissed again while coming closer to my ears.
"Why are you here with me? Don't you have a girl waiting for you at that corner?" I bluntly said it to him. my voice was harsh as a stone and he should stop playing his games with me!
"Shit!"
He cussed some unfaithful words under his breath then excused himself and walked away.
Leaving me all shocked and curious at the same time.
I felt insulted somehow, the blood inside my veins was boiling again at high temperature and my mind was continuously roaming in different circles.
What the hell is wrong with him! What does he even want?
"What do you think of yourself?" I heard a voice, as I looked back I found a familiar blonde girl, whose cheeks were flushed with red eyes staring at me as I have asked her to give me one of her kidneys!
She was the same girl who was with Mr blame Jensen, standing in the centre area with hand to hand.
"You are such a bitch!" She spoke again, or maybe she spread the even she has been storing for many years?
But something clicked in my mind, something that is going to change everything soon...
She was the same blonde girl with whom I had an encounter yesterday while picking up a dress.
She came there with his boyfriend, her name is Sofia!
"How dare you to kiss my honey?" She took a step as she was trying to scare me with her devilish looks! What does he even think? That I am a child with no brain and mind? Who will not do anything for her actions?
"Honey?" But who his honey now? That question is more serious than all of the quests.
Oh, holy shit!
As Anxiety hits hard, the realization hits hard in my head!
She and Mr Jensen has been dating and she is cheating on him with that guy whom I met yesterday inside the mall!
"Oh I, see," I nodded my head that made that girl angrier.
She walked away leaving me all alone when the spotlight ringed again on the dancing floor, and she was nowhere to be found.
Everyone was already dancing, laughing, having their hands to the joy or in the arms of their lovers while I was on the verge of ordering another bottle of wine with no strong shape and shine.
When the bottle reached to my hands I lifted it with one go and gently touched with my lips, ah the aroma and feel will make me warmer, my thoughts started depriving me of all of the outcomes, I was in a state of enjoying myself. Instead, I was feeling as light as feather,
I was thanking God that I am alone at this period to enjoy my company otherwise those men must have refined it for me.
I emptied all the credentials of drink under my throat to make it more compiling, now I started hallucination again because I was hearing whispers everybody with other keen eyes were looking at me as I am prestigious gen under their eyes,
It must be one of my fantasies to fight with the work!
Then at the next moment, I heard the voice of clicks, why everyone was looking at me in this driven state with a camera in their hands?
I must be in hallucinations, I didn't care and drank another glass when my hands were a little shaky from the upcoming storm in my life.
Then suddenly everything went silent, all the noises got shushed and time got stopped, a spotlight came into view until it landed on me. I was taken into the sunlight from a neverending night!
I must be hallucinating again, this isn't real! Nothing like this can happen to me in any state.
"So, ladies and gentleman, meet the fiancee of my Jensen's industries, Ms Ashley Brooke," I spilt out all the drink I had in my mouth with utter shock!
