Chapter 32: Chapter 32

*Abhivanth Pov*

“Where is Tajwar?” I asked Premila after sitting before the television along with her and Mridula.

She shrugged and just concentrated on the TV. If it was a few days back, then she would have asked Mridula about him.

Aahil seems to be out, and we don’t know what will happen now in this meeting and what will Aahil do.

“What do you think, Mridula? Will Nipuna say anything against Aahil?” I asked, to which Mridula shook her head in the negative but didn’t glance at me.

“There must be some other reason for her hate towards me.” I whispered to Premila and she immediately looked away.

“What is it?” I asked frowning.

“She knows that she is not in contact with her parents because of you.” she replied in a whisper, and I stared at her in shock.

“What?” I asked not believing it.

“Yes! She was crying one day as your sister didn’t accept to come here and visit her. So, I told her the truth.” she replied shrugging.

“But I didn’t ask for her to be kept away from her parents.” I mumbled frowning.

“If that didn’t have happened, then you wouldn’t have been with her showing normal behavior.” She stated and I opened my mouth not to accept it, but the mindset I had at that time would have made me do the same like she thought.

“Aunty!” Mridula whispered, and we both turned to watch Nipuna’s speech.

“Wow! Never expected that.” I mumbled after we three sat in silence for a few minutes even when the speech finished.

“I will go and see for dinner arrangements.” Mridula mumbled getting up and walked away.

“Aahil left the house and went for Nipuna’s.” Premila said, and I stared at her in shock.

“How do you know?” I asked her frowning.

“When he was informing Mridula, I listened to the conversation. And that was why I was a little rude at lunch time thinking about his decision and controlling myself not to stop him.” She explained, and I nodded holding her hand.

“What should we do next?” I asked, and she shrugged before starting to think.

“Why don’t we put pressure on him to return here from tomorrow and show her in a way that he seriously wants her forgiveness for whatever he has done?” she suggested and I slowly nodded.

“And I too seriously want your forgiveness.” I said, staring at her face.

“At present I want to think only about their lives without involving myself too much, but just to help them a little. I… I don’t want to think about anything else.” she said, and I smiled at her.

“And in this, I will be there with you.” I said, and she stared at me before nodding.

“What about Tajwar?” I asked after we had our dinner only with Mridula.

“I don’t know and I don’t want to think about him. We need to think about Mridula after our two sons until Tajwar deals with his issues himself.” she replied, and I nodded.

“Why don’t we make her meet her parents?” I asked, and she stopped in the middle of arranging the bed.

“You will not mind?” she asked frowning.

“We have been cruel enough. I think we should have done it years back.” I replied, and she sighed before holding my hand by herself.

“I thought about it, but sometime has to be taken before doing that. For Mridula, her mother’s words are like carvings on a stone. She will again do something as per others wishes, whatever it will be. I want her to think about her mind and do the actions. So, it will take a little time before doing that.” she explained and I nodded, feeling the love Premila has for her.

“She will not stay mad at you forever.” I said, and she tightened her hold on my hand nodding her head.

*Tajwar Pov*

I glanced at the tray and at the sleeping form of hers on the bed. I again closed my eyes, leaning back thinking about her words feeling the anger towards her.

For the past few days, we didn’t exchange a single work between us, and I stayed inside the room after returning from the office everyday. She just places the tray and sleep without saying a word.

Not only her, but no one else is saying anything. As far as I know, in the meeting, it was Nipuna’s father whose career is doomed and not Aahil.

On top of that he is staying at her house, making me feel surprised. As when we were kids and Dad used to say that family is bad, we all promised to ourselves never to enter that house and Aahil was more serious.

I felt so much anger on Mridula when she said how Amrin deserves acceptance as she didn’t run away. She was indirectly taunting Lavanya and must be saying she doesn’t deserve the acceptance.

I know she ran away soon without giving me time to react, but that doesn’t mean the love can be questioned. What I don’t understand is I am unable to show my anger on her at all.

It was never a problem for me as I show all my emotions through my anger, but now it is more than difficult to show it.

#Past Beginning#

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling weak and blinked for a minute before glancing around and stopped at her face.

She is staring back at me crying while I wish I can intervene to save us both. It’s been a few hours since we both got kidnapped, and I didn’t lose hope on my family.

“I am so sorry, Tajwar.” she said with a pleading look.

“You should have told me that someone was behind you, Lavanya.” I said not having the strength to even show the anger I am feeling.

“I didn’t want to get low in your eyes.” she mumbled looking down making me frown, and I tugged my hands hoping I can release myself and console her.

“I don’t understand.” I mumbled and she slowly nodded.

“I dated him, Tajwar. I didn’t know how he was but within a month, I broke up knowing the truth. Then when I started dating a guy, he threatened me. So, I stopped even talking to any guy feeling scared for them.” She started explaining wetting her lips in between.

“But… but then I met you, and the threat seemed so small in front of the love I felt for you. And I felt safe when the fear started crawling my back thinking, he can be stopped with the influence of your family had.” She added and continued to sob.

“Did… did you love me for the influence?” I asked, feeling a slight doubt and it pained inside my heart even to think that would be a possibility.

“No! I didn’t know about your family. What I am saying is, I would have left you feeling fine with the few days I had with you and run away from where no harm would have occurred to you. I couldn’t do that and felt safe knowing about your family.” She replied pleading me, and I nodded.

“I don’t know how he got to know about my location.” she mumbled looking around.

“It took me more than half day to know about it after calling your parents.” I said, remembering how hurt, I felt with her running away not trusting me.

“Why did you run? Do you have so low trust in my love and thought I would choose the money?” I asked and she immediately shook her head.

“It was for your safety, Tajwar. Without the family, your life would be at risk along with me. I thought of leaving you so that you can be safe, and he can calm down.” She replied and frowned at me.

“Did you call on their land phone? He tapped my parent's land phone one time and must have done the same again.” She mumbled.

“My fiancé is so intelligent.” We heard a sound and turned to see the main guy walking near to us.

“Your boyfriend helped me with this, Lavanya.” He added and I felt sick thinking if I had waited, then all this wouldn’t have happened.

“It was my fault not to tell you about it, Tajwar.” Lavanya said staring at me.

“Now, will you marry me or not? The arrangements are done outside, darling. Just say yes.” He said smiling at her.

“No! I would die rather than marrying you.” She said, spitting at him and immediately got a small cut over her hand.

“No!” I shouted, and he turned towards me before making another slice on my chest to which she shouted.

“I trust your family, Tajwar. They will find us.” she mumbled before losing her conscious.

“Lavanya!” I mumbled fumbling with the hold on my hands with more strength.

#Past End#

I woke up startled and glanced up to see Mridula gazing at my face sitting on the bed. She frowned at me before laying down and drifted off into sleep.

After a week of everything that happened, I chose to sit with everyone for dinner and to my surprise even Nipuna is present.

Mom is pampering her, and I saw a big bump thinking how did it become so big within a month. I shook my head and glanced at Mridula to see her lost in her thoughts.

“How many months pregnant is she?” I asked Mridula after we entered our room, and I cleared my throat.

“Eight!” she replied without even glancing at me and continued to arrange the bed.

“Lavanya didn’t run away wontedly.” I mumbled, turning her around.

“She ran away?” she asked with a confused look.

“You didn’t know? Then why did you say all those things?” I asked her frowning.

“Those were my thoughts for Amrin. And why do you care what I think about your love? Don’t worry at all! I don’t have any right to think of her as I was never given one.” She replied, removing my hand and started walking to her side.

I pulled her again towards me leaving no space between us before mumbling “You have every right. You are my wife, Mridula.”

“I need to wake up soon.” she mumbled tugging her hand, but I tightened my grip before leaning my head down to which she moved her head away making mine drop on her neck.

“You were right! I should feel happy for my brother, and I don’t have any right to be angry at anyone.” I whispered, pressing my lips on her collarbone to which she stilled.

“I… I was not telling you how to react to anything. I was expressing my views, and that’s all.” she mumbled after relaxing a little, but didn’t stop fidgeting to remove my hold.

“Ok! But I don’t forget your views easily.” I mumbled moving my head back after placing another kiss.

“I need to wake up soon.” she repeated and lay on her bed, walking away after I released her.

*Mridula Pov*

I waited until he lay beside me and breathed out in relief. When he seemed to be sleeping, I turned a little no more showing my back to him and stared at the ceiling.

Why am I so weak when it comes to him? Why do I feel myself melting whenever he holds me or caress me along with saying something nice words?

I know I am his wife, and he doesn’t think anything other than that, but I can’t bear anymore to feel the hurt thinking I don’t have any place in his heart under love.

Today I had to put all my effort to step away from him. Nevertheless, will I be able to do it next time? I thought, frowning and wished my heart is not filled with love for him.

I stilled when he moved in his sleep and placed his hand over me like everything but today with my back no longer for him, it laid over my abdomen.

I moved my hand to touch it, but stopped myself before closing my eyes and drifted off into sleep wishing I am not this weak when it comes to him.

For the next few days, Tajwar seemed normal without any anger for any of us, and Aunty continued to surprise all of us with her behavior.

She started panicking when Nipuna took a small walk under the sun and started nearly scaring her.

“I will give her some water.” I said saving her and then Aunty walked away.

“What happened to her?” she asked in a whisper.

“I don’t know!” I replied, looking away knowing well, she took my outburst to her heart.

“You know!” she said accusingly.

“I don’t know what you are talking about.” I said walking away.

Another surprise was Nipuna’s father visiting us and aunty being polite to him. I thought something would happen when uncle arrives.

He glanced at Aunty before behaving normally with Nipuna’s father. She cried from the time her father left and Aahil took her away like she asked him to.

Today’s another visitor was Dileep, and I just didn’t care for everything and glanced up to see Tajwar already staring at me.

“For someone who is here to spend time with all of us for sure knows how to escape.” Nipuna commented who sat giving me company until I finish the work.

“What do you mean?” I asked in a confused tone and glanced up to see Dileep stopped in his tracks near the stairs.

“Something is wrong and your friend, here is hiding it from all of us.” she replied and he immediately started walking near to us with blood shot eyes making me frown.

“Amrin broke up with me.” He said, staring at her.

“What?” she asked him in a disbelieving voice.

“She broke up with me today evening.” He replied, but just stared at us.

Why would she do such a stupid thing? I thought, frowning while Nipuna promised him to have a word with her tomorrow, and I will be going with her.
