CHAPTER FIFTY THREE

KIM SEOKJIN’S POINT OF VIEW

Reading a newspaper, I dropped it down as soon as I sensed Taehyung's scent near my bedroom making me worry, even I could hear his soft whimpers and small sobs. Taehyung rarely cries.

"Taehyung?" I called out, laying down the newspaper I was reading on the table before walking towards the door and opened to see Taehyung. Instead of being greeted by a cold blooded man, I was greeted by a shattered and broken man.

"Tae!" My eyes widened, catching the younger who fell on his knees and abruptly gripped his shoulders to support him

"Hyung..." He whimpered, holding tightly onto my arms. I immediately wrapped my arms around him like a frail and fragile man to at least comfort him.

"What happened Tae?" I asked, worried. His cries were small but the pain in his heart was massive. He's broken.

"Ha Na..." Taehyung's body trembled, a guilt in his voice could be heard. My eyebrows furrowed but flinched when I heard Taehyung's thoughts.

'I did something horrible.'

"What about Ha Na?" I panicked, thinking of the possible things Taehyung did. "Did you do something to her Taehyung?"

"I have s-sinned." He choked his sobs, breathing heavily.

With that, my eyes widened, knowing what Taehyung was referring to. "You didn't use the Submission Control, did you?"

Hoping that he didn't, Taehyung still nodded his head as he sobbed. He must've been guilty about it. "Hyung! I did-and it's killing me inside!"

A sigh left my mouth and closed my eyes in disbelief. "Why?"

Taehyung clicked his tongue, shaking his head. "I wanted to mark her—to protect her."

Taehyung choked out the words as a question instead of a statement and I was pretty sure there was something more than that reason. I could sense that Taehyung was half telling to truth and half lying. But I decided not to ask more from him, knowing I would eventually know.

All I did to comfort him was stroke his hair. Why did he do it with her? Was he that desperate to mark her? However, I knew it was something more. It doesn't end with a reason of marking her.

"Do you want me to erase her memories of what happened?" I offered, blurting out, and Taehyung's lips tremble before nodding.

He came to me because of my ability to erase memories, just like I always do for Jimin to prevent him from having nightmares of Hanisha.

Taehyung have all types of powers but he doesn't have the ability to erase memories and know about destiny—unless it has something to do about him. He mentioned to me that he only get flashes parts of his destiny and not full part of it.

"What are you gonna do about the sore? You know that she'll wake up in pain and sore, right?"

Of course she'll be in pain tomorrow and probably can't walk for days since they did it, and knowing he's a vampire and Ha Na's a human—it'll be hard for both of them.

"Don't worry about that, hyung. I will be the one to try and lessen her pain." Taehyung said.

That was it, her memory of having sex with Taehyung. Why did he do it? He used the Submission Control just to have sex with her, to mark her. Knowing about the spell, it isn't completely done easily unless you two are destined and the both of you desires to have each other.

Does that mean that Ha Na desired Taehyung as well? Knowing how he used that spell so easily. Doesn't Ha Na hates Taehyung for what he did?

I lifted up the small ball, that was shining from its edges, up as it played what happened between the two of them making me quickly closed my eyes to prevent seeing anything inappropriate, and turning around.

"You made me do this, love." I could hear Taehyung breathing. "You gave me no choice."

"This is the only thing I can do to protect you and that is to make you mine, mark you as my person." Taehyung answered lazily.

"Let's do this sometimes. I love it when you're in my arms."

Silence then took over making me furrowed my eyebrows, and turned around to look at the image to see that both of them dozed off to sleep. I lifted my arms, immediately swiping to the right to skip the part, until past midnight, Taehyung moved and lifted his head watching her in adoration and admiration as if his eyes said he longed for her and missed her all this time.

But then my eyes widened when his fingers trailed down her jawline as she slightly shivered under his touch while she's in her deep slumber, letting out a whimper.

"Ha Na..." Taehyung muttered, eyes focused her on lips. Guilt was written all over his face. "I want to protect you at all cost, and by doing that...I have to mark you for real."

He marked her that night?

And with that, Taehyung's eyes flashed, ready to put her under a spell in just a matter of seconds. I quickly turned around when I could hear moans and whimpers coming from the both of them—I'm guessing that they must've been naked already.

"You're so beautiful." Taehyung purred making me cringe just by hearing those words. Why am I hearing these?

Loud moans, hisses, grunting and whimpers continue to echo until a loud scream followed making me jumped out. A loud scream of pain came from Ha Na as I could hear Taehyung clicked his tongue.

"Don't cry." Ha Na spoke slowly making my eyebrows arched as he comforted him. He is crying? Why would Taehyung cry? Especially when they mated? Was he that happy?

Taehyung whimpered, grunting followed by Ha Na's purr as pleasure overtook the pain she was feeling. I knew he was moving in and out of her, gently and slowly as possible, not wanting to hurt his Queen as I heard wet sounds slurping and slaps of two skin meeting.

Ha Na was moaning under him and Taehyung went faster just by the sounds making me flinched. She was breathing hastily and rather fast as the vampire continued to pound pleasurably inside her.

And here I am, standing helpless as my ears heard inappropriate things.

Suddenly, another shrieked was followed, and eyes widened, realizing that Taehyung really did marked her for real. And that's where I turned around to see that the image stopped.

I froze, analyzing what happened. "He wanted an offspring?"

I turned around as my eyes fixed on the ball that was slowly vanishing, and wondering. "What for?"

“Is it so wrong for me to love you even though I don't have the right anymore?”

Obstacles could happen anytime but the fall of humans, werewolves, and vampires was nothing everyone would expect. The lives of people went to different path with the death of the ruler, Kim Taehyung, and the rising of the new king, Kim Namjoon.

After the betrayal, the Princess is already gone, Kim Seokjin is in prison, Park Jimin is locked up, Ha Na is missing, and Jung Hoseok is nowhere to be found. Everything is falling apart, and so is the world under the Namjoon’s ruling especially with him still mourning over his lover’s death. But that’s not all, another character has been added that would ruin everything.

“He told me that I’ll be his Queen, but how come there’s someone else on the throne?” Surely, there will be a new fight over the Queen’s throne.

Who will claim the throne?
