CHAPTER THIRTY ONE

"Jimin-ah!" Her voice was all over the place, body spinning around in the middle of her favourite flower field while Jimin watched her in full delight and sparkled eyes as she twirled with a smile plastered on her face.

He was happy that she was happy as well.

"I'm sorry." He said as he walked towards her before placing his palm on his cheeks making the lady smile but soon frowned when she noticed the tears on his eyes.

"What are you doing?" She watched him in horror, backing out but Jimin's hand never left her cheeks and continued to caress it with his thumb.

Jimin says in a cold yet soft tone. "I have to kill you."

"But Jimin—" And that, he leaned near her neck with his sharp fangs revealing but the girl stayed still and waited for her beloved's bite.

Jimin woke up with sweats and warmness all over his body as if he was burning up. He clearly knows that he is becoming into something that a vampire should not have. He is becoming into something with these sweats and warm temperature in his body. He shook his head, quickly wiped his sweats as soon as Hoseok came in his room.

"Why didn't you knock, hyung?!" Jimin sternly said, a bit startled by the sudden barged in of the elder. The elder didn't say anything but just chuckled, and entered his room, sitting down on the sofa with modesty.

"Why are you here anyway?!" Jimin growled at him sending a cold and death glare.

"Prepare for a proper beating, you asshole." Hoseok said, smirking that made Jimin confused. "Either Namjoon or Elisse is going to beat the shit out of you today."

Jimin's mouth went agape. There's no way he couldn't beat Namjoon at all when it comes to power and strength. He is the second Duke—second most powerful man in history.

"You marked his soulmate. A beat from them would be enough to knock you out of your senses right?"

Jimin understood what Hoseok meant and just frowned as he stood up from his bed. Although Jimin was trying to hide his expression, Hoseok seemed to have noticed something amiss of the latter. His brows furrowed when he realized something.

"Are you having the same dream again?" Hoseok asked in worry. He knew that everyday in Jimin's life was always a torment to him. The fact that he lost his beloved was enough of a torture for him.

Seeing the young one in this situation everyday makes the hyung worry a lot. He couldn't help it. He he knew that Jimin hated it when his bestfriend—Taehyung, would divert his attention to other woman. Hence, that's why he would kill them instantly, including his blood slaves.

He wouldn't doubt his target and that's why all the Dukes and other lower ranked vampires would struggle a lot to find Taehyung's blood slave every single day. They won't even last for a week and Taehyung doesn't even mind because he understands Jimin.

Killing them was the only revenge Jimin could think of. That way, Taehyung would agonize his sins, from what he did hundred years ago.

Hoseok knew exactly what happened years ago. Everyone knows. However, he wasn't expecting for the lady to suddenly appear out of nowhere after hundred years of waiting.

Jimin didn't even tell everyone that the girl has already appeared in this era. Thus, he was already making his moves before Taehyung finds her. But he was too late for it and that Taehyung has already found her first this time. Hoseok was flustered when he found out about it. Everyone was.

"Jiminie..." Hoseok trailed off as he wanted the younger one to tell him what happened—as his older brother. "Are you having the same dream again? You know we can ask Seokjin hyung to—"

"I don't want Jin hyung's help." Jimin snapped at him with bitterness left in his mouth.

Hoseok huffed, rolling his eyes. "You need it, Jimin!"

"I don't want to, Hyung!" Jimin spat at his elder, eyes bulging out from his sockets. "I don't want to forget my memories of her this time!"

Hoseok watched as Jimin paced back and forth, ruffling his hair in frustration. "It makes me crazy everytime I forget something so important but then break down whenever I remember our memories together."

The younger has his tears rolled down on his cheeks again. He thought that he was getting a lot of emotional these days.

Hoseok was surprised to see Jimin being this weak, knowing how he is considered the cold blooded along with Taehyung. "Jimin—"

"Hyung..." His voice cracked as he fell on his knees, covering his eye with his palms, and choking out his next words. "I know you guys are trying so hard for me to forget her, and to get the feeling of guilt out of me. But Hyung—"

Jimin whimpered, making Hoseok looked at him with pained expression. "I finally found her and I won't lose her this time..."

And Hoseok hated the younger for being vulnerable like this.

On the side outside the door, a lady passed in front of the room. Elisse stopped her tracks and eyes widened as she heard Jimin's voice. Her eyebrows furrowed and decided to leaned in on the door.

There was a long pause as Elisse decided to push her ears near to the door to hear more of their conversation.

"I'm going to protect Ha Na this time, Hyung, and I promise that there won't be any mistake again."

Elisse heart tightened as soon as she heard her beloved's words. She now understands why. Although it wasn't his full story but she probably knew how and why Jimin loves her.

Maybe because Ha Na was something to him even before this, and that she was really special to him—aside from being his soulmate.

Elisse has been released by Taehyung, and was given to Namjoon as she heard that Namjoon was her soulmate all along. But she was expecting Jimin to be hers the moment she laid her eyes on him, she knew and immediately fell in love without her knowing. It was disappointing enough for her to hear that Namjoon is her soulmate.

She started having thoughts that if Namjoon is her soulmate, why can't she have feelings towards him but to Jimin?

A sigh escaped her mouth as she speeds off away from the room and accidentally bumped into someone. She looked up to see her supposed soulmate—the soulmate that she has no bit feelings towards with.

But Namjoon was confused as to why his soulmate suddenly burst into tears as soon as she saw him, making him panic. Her cries was sad yet frustrated as she pulled Namjoon into a tight embrace making the man startled but eventually hugged her back.

"Elisse..." Namjoon trailed, patting his soulmate's back. Elisse pushed herself deep on the man's broad chest and cried. "What happened?"

Elisse didn't say anything. She just wanted his embrace as of the moment. She didn't want to talk nor say anything, and she just wanted this.

Someone's hug.

Maybe a hug from her soulmate can ease the pain she's feeling inside.
