Chapter 127: Chapter 127
CHAPTER SIXTY NINE
A day later.
Taehyung was having a problem. He even told Hoseok to forgive Namjoon but he replied that he already did, he wasn't just ready to face him yet. He just let it go, feeling that the two would end up being fine anyway despite not knowing the degree of the two's friendship because of his lost memory.
Somehow, even the two already forgave each other deep within their hearts, there's just something that keeps them from forming the bond of friendship again, and Taehyung kinda felt that.
The silver haired man was also disappointed at Seokjin though he doesn't have any idea why the elder was doing all of this. Why did his hyung chose to stay side with the woman that is not even Taehyung's soulmate? Why did his hyung lied at him, and why did he choose to not say the truth, and his every memory from the start? And lastly, why would Seokjin erase his memories—not knowing the real culprit of the one erasing his memory.
But in two days time, Hoseok calmed himself down, eventually forgave Namjoon, and Jimin was quiet the whole time. Speaking of Jimin, where was he?
Jimin asked for a little vacation, as an excuse of 'finding' Seokjin's son despite knowing the truth already. He wasn't just ready to tell anyone about it.
Everything was peaceful and quiet.
That is until Min Hanisha, the most powerful witch, stood right in front of Kim Taehyung, the most powerful vampire in history.
Who would win in this confrontation?
Hanisha looked up at Taehyung, lips quiver as eyes got glossy. There was no going back, and she voluntarily surrendered herself despite her mate begging her not to.
"Y-You know now?" Her voice cracked, suppressing tears coming out of her eyes.
She saw it coming, and saw it through the mirror at how the interaction between the three ended. Taehyung, Namjoon and Hoseok was talking about her— finding out that everything was a lie. Thus, she decided to give up already because it has gotten worse than she imagined, and beside, she was afraid that she would be too late to change everything in order not to suffer from destiny's wrath.
Her surrender has something to do with certain someone because she has to protect that someone— to protect the one she loves and cherishes the most. She didn't want the man to lose his friendship over a woman— basically her.
"I just want to know something." Taehyung spoke nonchalantly causing Hanisha to look surprise at how calm the vampire is.
"D-Did you kill Seokjin hyung too?"
The man closed his eyes, hoping that the woman wouldn't do something so cruel like that despite making a fool of him, and lying to him. He just hopes so because in that way could he pay his sins towards her for everything that he did way before. He wanted to be at peace this time, for the sake of Ha Na... and the little life she is carrying.
But that wasn't the answer that Taehyung expected. Instead, he got an answer of a nod from Hanisha.
"Y-You were the one who fooled us and removed our memories and controlled S-Seokjin hyung?" The king stammered, anger arising his entire body, letting the suppressed demon of anger awaken. "So what Namjoon hyung said was true?"
And once again, he got a nod.
This time, he wasn't letting it go as he lifted his hands, ready to attack the witch. But something caught him off guard causing his breath to hitch, and entire body frozen.
"If you kill me," Hanisha breathed in. "You will kill Ha Na too."
"What?" Slowly by slowly, his hands lowered down, heart that was beating rapidly replaced.
"Kill me," She repeated, challenging the vampire king as she clenched her fist in nervousness. "Because if you do that, Ha Na will die along with me."
Taehyung stayed frozen, speechless and bewildered— couldn't utter a single word nor respond to the witch.
"She may be not my twin despite the similar facial features but she is my sister." She said with a small smile before sighing. "However, she is just an illusion that I made from my own blood."
And Taehyung still looked astonished, stiffened in his position as he stared at Hanisha.
"We are complete different person but we are one. In a sense where one is just an illusion, and one is not." She explained, and she inhaled deeply. "I named her Ha Na because it means one."
"She and I are one." Her voice cracked, tears forming on her eyes, and Taehyung's expression fell, and heart dropped on the floor. "And that is why If you kill me, that means you're killing Ha Na as well."
"An illusion?" Taehyung spits, finally regaining from the shock. "What illusion shits are you spitting about? I swear if this is some trick that you're—"
"The moment Ha Na will accept herself as an illusion, she will die." Hanisha interrupted, speaking faster and closing her eyes, knuckles turning white from tightening it too much.
"I'm saying the truth." Her lips quivered. "Please believe me."
"And why would I believe you?" He huffed.
"I'm doing this for Jimin." She honestly said, voice getting soft. "I already surrendered."
She raised her arms together. "Just please don't hurt him. I know that you won't because you are his best friend while I'm just someone who hurt him a lot."
I trust in you, Kim Taehyung. A voice said that echoed his ears, and he looked around the area but no one was there. Make the right decision, please.
"I'm just a b-burden to him." She stuttered, now fiddling her fingers.
"Y-You—" Taehyung gulped, tremors taking his entire body as he pointed at her. "You will be locked forever in the jail until further notice."
The man spat. "Guards! Take this witch to the dungeons!"
After all, he couldn't kill his best friend's soulmate, his ex-lover and his soulmate's sister. Hanisha turned around, raising her hands to let the guards completely handcuff her.
I'm sorry, Jimin. She thought.
Tears fell down her eyes as she remembered Jimin's words that last night they spent together as official lovers.
'You're not gonna leave me, are you?'
'Let's run away.'
'Just you and I, no one else. Let's run away from Taehyung, Ha Na and everyone.'
I'm sorry, Jimin. She thought again, shaking vulnerably as her soulmate's words echoed the entire time.
"What are you sorry for!" A voice yelled as everyone jerked their heads, and Hanisha looked above to see the man.
Jimin's panted— rather furiously as he stormed his way towards Hanisha and sent a flying kick to each of the guards who tried to touch her before grabbing her arms causing her to wince.
"If you were planning something like this, you should've used your power to block my telepathy ability." Jimin said, gritting his teeth and looking at her, disheartened.
Hanisha parted her lips but no words came out as well, and Jimin's heart softened at the sight of her fragile soulmate.
Jimin sighed, voice cracked. "How could you think that you are just 'someone'?"
He shook his head in disappointment and displeased. "You are not just someone. You are my woman."
"You are my soulmate, my soul and spirit." He pointed at himself, hand that was gripped on her arms loosened. "You are my light and my dark, my universe and my world."
"J-Jimin..."
"You are my life and my death. You may be my dissonance but I could be the harmony in your music notes." Jimin smiles softly at her causing her heart to flutter.
Taehyung stood awkwardly, including the guards surrounding them.
"If not, then I am your disaster and you are my blessing," Both hands then travelled to her cheeks. "But how could you say you are just someone when you are my woman to begin with?"
"B-But—"
"And how could you say that you've caused burden to me? You dare say that you caused many painful things towards me?" Jimin grumbled, and Hanisha glanced down in guilt.
The man lifted her chin up making her look at him. "You, my love, have suffered enough more than I did."
Jimin pressed his lips against her lips in a chaste, slow and gentle kiss— savouring the moment of his probably one last kiss.
He pulled away, giving her a reassuring smile. "I fell deeply in love with you."
His smile got even more wider.
"Including your flaws."
