CHAPTER SIXTY THREE

A week day passed and everything was going well. Taehyung is treating Ha Na well, giving her the love that she deserves, and even spending every single minute with her to replace the time he couldn't back then.

The both of them were happy, having each other's arms and embrace. They were only thinking their own happiness, and not letting others interrupt their small dates. But that was when Ha Na's mind wandered about the fact that there was something bothering her.

Ha Na breathed in, hands rubbing on her little bumpy stomach and glancing at it. It was growing well and is still small. Am I really pregnant? Pursing her lips, she entered Elisse's room that was supposed to be hers, but Jungkook gave it to her since Taehyung asked him for Ha Na to live inside the palace instead.

"Ha Na?" Elisse's eyes widened as soon as she turned around, meeting her best friend's eyes. Just what is she doing here?

Stepping forward, Ha Na looked at Elisse with confusion written on her face and chest heaving up as she breathed in.

"What do you mean I'm pregnant?" She directly questioned, knitting her eyebrows together, causing Elisse to freeze, stopping what she was doing before hesitantly facing Ha Na. Did her best friend come to ask her about it?

"I'm not sure about it..." The vampire cleared her throat, gulping down the excess saliva down. Her face became distorted with uneasiness, and wrinkles lined. "But I can hear the beat of a fetus."

"You c-could hear what?" Her voice cracked, stepping back as her heart dropped. "You heard a fetus' heartbeat? In my stomach?"

Elisse nodded, reluctantly, and she doesn't know what to say as of the moment because she, herself, wasn't sure about it, but that is until someone was there to stop their uncomfortable conversation in order to ease the tension of both best friends.

"You really are pregnant, Noona." Jungkook firmly said, going inside the room and cutting the talk.

"J-Jungkook?" Ha Na stammered, eyes widened in surprise that even Jungkook was telling her something she never thought.

"You are pregnant." he said once again, biting his lips in nervousness.

"I don't remember—" Ha Na blushed, eyes wavering from Jungkook's gaze. She was embarrassed. "— doing it with you."

"It's not mine, Noona." Jungkook scoffed followed by a sigh. "It's Taehyung's."

Ha Na's eyes widened in both fear and surprise while Elisse's eyes bulged out of the sockets. Their lips parted, stepping forward to deny, but then the vampire decided to speak about the matter.

"You did it when you were in the palace back then?!" Elisse squeaked, surprised as well as she faced the human. "You did?!"

"No!" Ha Na completely denied having an intimate session with Taehyung back then— yes, she did have intimate with him these days, but surely, she doesn't remember letting anyone have sex with her.

"Then whose child is that if not Taehyung's nor Jungkook's?!" The female continued to push, not knowing Jungkook was still there, standing.

"I mean— it's not—"

"Then is it Yoongi's?!" Elisse gasped, chest rising in anger. "You two were in a relationship before!"

Ha Na raised an eyebrow, staring back at her best friend. "How did you know about Yoongi?"

"I—" Elisse's eyes were unwavering, looking away from Ha Na's gaze. She knew that Ha Na was trying to hide her relationship with Yoongi but Elisse chose not to say anything about them despite hating what they had.

"But it couldn't be Yoongi hyung as well if he was in a relationship with her 6 months ago." Jungkook huffed, frowning deep inside. Thankfully, he, once again, interject the two.

"Why not?" Elisse jerked her head towards Jungkook and cocking an eyebrow.

"It's because she's at least around 5 months and a half by now." He explained. "If Ha Na was abducted 6 months ago, then that means they did it in between the first month she was abducted even before she was found by me which was 5 months ago."

Jungkook paused, sighing before looking back at Ha Na. "Do you plan on telling the King about it?"

"No— It can't be. I mean—" Ha Na's breath hitch, unable to properly breathe because she was stressing over the fact that she's pregnant.

"You lost your memory, Noona." Jungkook nervously said, and Elisse nodded in agreement.

"No! I couldn't!" She frantically shook her head. "I remembered everything. But I can't remember Taehyung and I doing it."

"I'm pretty sure it isn't mine, Noona." Jungkook groaned before taking a glimpse at the baby that he was holding in his arms the whole time.

The baby was squirming, letting out a sound of purr as if he was bothered by the loud noises that the surroundings was giving him. The baby sounded asleep and peaceful yet Ha Na who was looking at it looked petrified and frightened.

She couldn't believe that she's going to have something like that. Not that she doesn't like it, but it feels weird not even remembering the day you had sex with someone and then just woke up being pregnant about it. Unless you're drunk as hell.

"Why don't you try asking Taehyung?" Elisse suggested, looking back and forth between Jungkook and her best friend. "He must've known about the child since he wouldn't just shoot his seeds to anyone he wants."

Jungkook's mouth gaped before moving his head up and down in realization while Ha Na was still out of mind.

"Besides, the baby is a half breed." Elisse slightly cringed. "These past few months, you've been bleeding right? I saw you having one when you went to the prison cell."

Ha Na snapped out of her trance, looking back at Elisse and hesitantly nodded. Of course, mentioning about that, Ha Na seemed to remember that time where she was trying to find Kiana and went to the Prison cell of the wolf territory.

However, she ended up back in the territory with Jungkook by her side, saying that Yoongi found her. But she surely doesn't remember meeting her best friend there causing her to look confused.

"That means the baby is reacting inside you as a vampire inside its human mother."

"A vampire fetus’ human mothers do that?" She whimpered like a child, and Elisse nodded. "And also, what do you mean you saw me there?"

"I was the one who sent you back under the name of Yoongi. I told them I found the Luna." The vampire shrugged her shoulders, and Ha Na snapped her head towards Jungkook whose eyes widened in response.

"I didn't know, Noona!" Jungkook shook his head vigorously and attempting to flail his arms that was holding the baby before glaring at the vampire. "Elisse Noona!"

Elisse chuckled and shaking her head in amusement. "I mean I was the one who technically brought you back and I couldn't appear in front of you yet since I was still healing. That's why I asked Yoongi to do something about it."

Ha Na nodded, inhaling sharply while grasping her stomach, causing the female vampire and the Alpha to look at her in worry. "How do you know all of these?"

Gulping down, tears started to form in her eyes. "All this time— I'm pregnant?"

And because of that, the gradual hatred she had for herself has arise. She despised herself because...why? Why is this happening to her? She hated herself, maybe because she was oblivious of the fact that she was pregnant and being careless to the point that she almost lost the baby— the child that Taehyung wanted. She was unaware, and it's giving her a gut-wrenching guilt in her stomach because what if she could've lost the baby while not knowing about it? She would lose the chance of meeting her first child and even before it would see the outside world.

"Noona..." Jungkook stepped forward in an attempt to calm the raging lady down but the human stopped him.

"Stop—" She choked, eyes spilling tears as she choked on her sobs. "And you Jeon Jungkook, you didn't even tell me?!"

Jungkook gulped, tightly holding the baby. "It's just that—"

"Just what if—" She snapped, but interrupted when she started wheezing, gasping for air to take in her lung.

"Noona!" Jungkook yelped, eyes widened and firmly held the baby tightly. "Calm down!"

"Ha Na, calm down!" Elisse groaned, trying to calm the pregnant woman who was having a hard time breathing. She grabbed Ha Na's shoulders and forcefully stopped her.

"The baby inside you is reacting with your emotions right now. So calm down, okay?" She said, and Ha Na stiffened but nodded anyway. "Your emotions are your baby's emotions as well."

"Just...breathe, alright?" Elisse cooed, and her best friend gritted her teeth in an attempt to ease her breathing pattern which was controlled in a few seconds. "We don't want you losing the child."

Ha Na deliberately closed her eyes, cupping her stomach to at least tell the fetus that was moving frantically in her stomach to relax. She opened them as soon as the baby stopped, and she breathed out.

"I almost did." She snapped, opening her eyes and giving the two a deadly glare. "I've been bleeding a lot, thinking it was a period. I've been stressing a lot, and being careless giving harm to my baby!"

Jungkook and Elisse was pretty speechless as they stared at her.

"What if my child could've been harmed?!" She trembled, hands shaking as she rubbed her stomach to send relaxing comfort to the fetus, and looked down. "There could be a possibility that I could've had miscarriage."

"A possibility where Taehyung couldn't even see his first-born child." She whimpered, voice cracked at the thought of it. "A possibility where he couldn't see the child he wanted."

"Don't worry, Noona. Mom made sure you are safe in any way, despite holding the King's offspring." Jungkook frowned, also rocking the baby and then he fathoms something.

"But what if...what if Hanisha removed your memory with him completely?" The Alpha asked, biting his inside cheeks. "And she removed Taehyung's as well?"

"Hanisha?" Elisse tilted her head, baffled. "Who is Hanisha?"
