Chapter 106: Chapter 106
CHAPTER FORTY EIGHT
Tears fell down on her ashen cheeks as series of mumbles released Ha Na's mouth as she apologized all over again and again in front Kim Seokjin's tomb.
She and Seokjin were pretty close enough back then, and even saved her several time already. In fact, he has done good deeds towards her, and she felt guilty not feeling an ounce of sympathy when she found out about Seokjin's death— heck she lost her memories back then.
She doesn't get why at all. What happened that day? Why did Seokjin left her in the forest only to be found by Jungkook? All of her questions were answered with her asking several wolves of what happened four months ago.
A duke betrayed the King, and overthrown him.
The wolves that she asked never left any information out, and even told her about the attack of werewolves to overthrown the current King. She knew everything, and found out everything from them.
Yet when she asked about the Queen, no one knows about it, and when she thought about it, the werewolves never knew about the King having a Queen because they were isolated deep in the forest.
Maybe the only people who knows about it was Jungkook, Caroline and Yoongi.
Do they even know about me being the future Queen? She wondered. However, among the news she received and knew, the devastating one would be when she realised something.
Taehyung already have a fiancée.
A woman named Min Ha Na, and surely, she knows that he was talking about her. Or was he? Batch of tears fell again, bile forming in her throat and a sick gut wrenching hurt could be felt.
Her lips quiver, vision comes blurry and unclear. "He told me that I'll be his Queen, but how come there's someone else on the throne?"
Who is pretending to be her? That's the question that could never be answered.
"Is it so wrong for me to love you even though I don't have the right anymore?" She sobbed, whimpering as her mind became mess. She has hurt Taehyung several times, does she still have the right to love him?
She already remembered everything, but why can't she just appear in front of him—hug him and own him? Why not today? She can't because she wasn't ready to face everything. She was petrified that Taehyung might know that the one who has been in front of him is her, and will hate her.
In her perspective, she basically lied to Taehyung. She hid her identity, and she didn't like it. But she was petrified to admit her feelings towards Taehyung because she loathed him back then, and suddenly have feelings towards him.
She wanted to tell him ever so badly, but one thing was stopping her—aside from feeling guilty of hiding her identity from him—was that she needed to know something.
I still have a lot of things to know. She pursed her lips. She still need to knows some answers.
How is it that Jungkook became her mate despite being related? How is it that everyone hid the fact that she was supposed to be the future Queen?
They just found me in the forest, they couldn't have known about me being the Queen, right? Her mind was just a mess, and it's confusing her. She still have to apologize to Jungkook about what happened four months ago.
His death was the cause of her misery.
His voices as a little cute one echoed her ears, remembering every single thing that happened.
"Noona. Where are we going?"
"Jungkookie... Do you wanna play with Aunt Ha Na?"
His eyes enlightened at the thought of him playing with someone- especially his noona. "Yes, Noona!"
"You better make up your mind whether you should call me Aunt or Noona."
"Jungkookie, if ever something happened. This bracelet will protect you alright? This way, vampires nor wolves won't hurt you."
She said, locking the bracelet on Jungkook's right hand and smiled at him.
But at the end, the bracelet never protected him. She felt even more guilty about the words that she told that even lead him to his death. However, she wondered, how is it that Jungkook still have the bracelet? Does he really cherish it?
"Don't pull jokes on me, Jungkookie." She nervously laughed, tears flowing down. But he isn't blinking nor moving his hands. He just stayed still peacefully sleeping in her arms.
"Don't you want Banana Milk?" She sobs pulling him tightly into her arms. "Noona-ga, will give you a bunch of banana milk, alright? What do you think about it?"
Everything was still vivid in her mind, but the thing she asked for herself was that how is it that he grew up so fast? She stood up from her position, wobbling and limping as she goes back to the territory from the cemetery of the Vampires where she visited her long friend.
She remembered about Taehyung.
Two weeks passed and Ha Na hid away from him. She was completely avoiding him, and not appearing in the place of their meeting. She winced, feeling her stomach tightens and in pain. She gritted her teeth, easing the pain along the way as she bent slightly on her knees.
Remind me to go to the doctor. Ha Na hissed when the pain continue to kick in. She was thinking, what if she has a cancerous tumour or maybe cyst in her stomach because of how massive her belly got become?
She still doesn't know that she is already almost 5 months pregnant.
As she walked towards her room, the feeling of breathlessness overcame her and sudden outburst of tears escaped her lips before parting her lips to pant heavily.
Why can't I breathe? She gasped for air, hands clutching the shirt part on her stomach.
The vampire from the distance furrowed his eyebrows as he approached the lady that was limping in front of him, facing her back.
As he sniffed heavily, her scent entered his nose. "Luna?"
Jimin watched as she entered the room, and he knew there was something wrong. The next thing he knew was that he sneakily entered the Luna's room while she was in the bathroom, probably doing her business as he waited.
What is wrong with me? He heard the Luna from behind the doors, thinking.
Is something wrong?
Jimin asked, using his ability to communicate—telepathy.
Ha Na who was in the bathroom was startled when she heard a sudden voice. Somewhere, she's somehow familiar with that voice—like a de jávu. She shakes her head, shrugging off.
Maybe she was just hearing things.
She opened the door after calming herself down, and her eyes widened as she realised something. The voice sounds familiar, and she encountered something like this before. It was when Jimin once communicated with her back in the palace.
Jimin?
She squeaked, looking above, locking gazes with the man in front, and Jimin froze as well at the sight.
