Chapter 104: Chapter 104
CHAPTER FORTY SIX
The two friends sat across each other, awkward tension clouding just above their heads as they kept their mouth shut—that was at least in Namjoon's case since he doesn't know what to react nor doesn't know what to say, especially when the man he betrayed not long ago is just right in front of him inside the house he shared with Junsoo.
Hoseok has always been like this, having a peaceful and quiet reunion with friends—except when Seokjin is around because the place will never be quiet with his dad jokes.
Thinking about Seokjin, that made Namjoon frowned. He did want to go back to the palace and at least see him, but he can't. Not without Jimin's orders—he was still under his monitor after the betrayal happened. Thus, Namjoon just smiled the sadness away and not wanting to be reminded of such thing.
Clearing his throat, he caught the attention of Hoseok who just smiled at him with sweet essence that made Namjoon baffled.
"Namjoonie," Hoseok smiled widely, putting down the cup of tea. "I've been meaning to ask you this."
The other gulped down, nervously, kneading his knee as his breath started to get shaky. He was never the type of person to get nervous, but then again, he doesn't know how to behave in front of Hoseok.
"How are you here? You were here in Australia all along? You vould've texted us where you were. We were looking for you." The sweetness, care, and tender with adoration voice was still there.
Namjoon's eyes slightly widened as he listened at the man. "Why weren't you at Seokjin hyung's death? We tried to contact you but we couldn't."
The second in power Duke shuddered, lips parted as he asked. "You don't remember anything, do you?"
"What do you mean?" Hoseok raised his eyebrows, looking at his best friend in amusement while the other looked so lost.
Namjoon closed his eyes, heart clenched in guilt as he cowered down when he fathoms every single thing. He knew what was going on in the palace with the Hanisha issue, and so does Junsoo. But Seokjin never mentioned about Hoseok not remembering what happened to them.
Does Taehyung remember it too? Or was he clueless like Hoseok? Did Seokjin somehow erased their memories?
"Hoseok-ah...I'm sorry." His voice cracked, fidgeting his fingers in shame. He doesn't know where to honestly start explaining.
But with everything Namjoon explained, from the start of him betraying them and it left Hoseok to laugh but died down when he realized that the other was pretty serious.
Namjoon explained how he betrayed everyone, how he saved Taehyung and the Princess, how he ruled the kingdom, how he locked them down, how cruel he was, how he was attacked by the werewolf territory but ended up being saved by Seokjin and sent to Australia to live in Junsoo's private house, and all the way to how Jimin found the letter that Namjoon gave to Seokjin and called them.
But of course, Namjoon explained how odd it is that everyone forgot about everything like nothing happened, and Hoseok was speechless and overwhelmed by the information.
Hoseok didn’t believe the nonsense at first but soon, his anger rises in his system, clenching his fist as he gritted his teeth, eyes flashed in red mixed with yellow. He sure does have a lot of questions.
He inhaled sharply, glaring intensely at Namjoon. "Jimin knew all along?"
Namjoon slowly moved his head up and down, tugging his lips between his teeth. "Yes, he does. But we chose to be quiet."
"And what about Hanisha?" Hoseok let out a heavy exhale. "What do you mean that Hanisha is still alive?"
"Hyung told us." Namjoon looked at him. "Seokjin hyung told us that the lady in the palace isn't Ha Na but Hanisha."
The other snorted, laughing before he snapped. "Hanisha is dead. I witnessed her death back then!"
"She is still alive from what Jimin and Seokjin hyung told us. So please don't be rush." Namjoon breathed in. "I think Jimin has a perfect plan for everything. And Seokjin hyung wouldn't just erase your memories without a particular reason."
"Bet he did so he could protect that wench!" He snarled making Namjoon shakes his head, replying.
"Besides, didn't hyung give you a box or a ball or something? Maybe it contains your lost memory in it."
"Not that I remember." He shook his head, sighing in distress. "But you said you're living with the Princess, and you saved her back then, right? Where is she now?"
Namjoon freezes. "Regarding Princess Junsoo, Jimin told her to go back to the Palace."
Jimin looked around the area as the sweetness of the scent dances around and was teasingly entering his nose. He found himself standing near the Luna's tent as his eyes landed to the lady that seemed to have trouble in breathing.
"Is she okay?" His eyebrows knit, looking at the Luna who was clasping her stomach, and grasping the bench that was placed near her room. She was panting heavily that could be heard in Jimin's ears, calming herself down.
He speeds off, wanting to help her before hitting the ground but halted when the scent abruptly entered his nose making him startled.
"Why is it that Taehyung and Ha Na's scent is present on her?" It was no doubt Taehyung and Ha Na's scent along with Jungkook's scent that was coming from the silk.
He blinked his eyes as he eyed the woman who was now sitting on the bench before approaching her from behind. He stood there in silence, hearing her thoughts that seemed to be loud in his ear.
Why am I losing out of breath? He heard those thoughts making him bit his lips before his eyes flickered towards the knot that was tied from her silk.
Why is she wearing a silk? Jimin still wondered despite knowing it might be to cover up her scent with Jungkook's scent.
He raised his hands, slowly grabbing the excess tie that was hanging low before he carefully dragged it downward. He badly wanted to see the lady with Taehyung and Ha Na's scent.
He believed that it could possibly be Ha Na because the one in the palace was definitely Hanisha. However, he jumped from his position when she suddenly stood up but almost stumbled back to the bench.
The vampire was quick to hold her with his hands grasping both her shoulders. His breath hitched before exhaling as he gently put the lady in comfortable position, hands at the back of her head already. He turned around to sit on the bench beside her removing his other hand and unconsciously placed it on her bump.
With a touch of her stomach, Jimin stiffened when the sound of heartbeat pressed his eardrums. The echoes of the double beat made Jimin gasped, eyes widened in shock before he jerked his hands away. His lips parted before glancing at her with a silk over her mouth.
"She's pregnant?" Jimin choked out, eyes on the unconscious woman.
