Chapter 51: Chapter 51
There was chaos in San Alfonso when a fire broke out in the entire town. Martin held on to his waist as he watched the Villalobos mansion burn, worrying about Ana.
“Damn it!” he shouted and kicked the rock in front of him.
The firefighters, police, and his cousin arrived.
“You!” he immediately grabbed Tyron’s collar, who raised his hands. “Is this Ana’s plan? I know you’ve been secretly meeting for a plan! Damn you!”
Tyron blocked his arm, thinking Martin was going to hit him.
“Bro, this is not her plan, believe me. But she changed her mind quickly! She just ordered my men to burn Don Ignacio’s house and all the Villalobos' properties. This was not part of her plan, but I feel like she also wants everything to end. I apologize for keeping it from you because I’m more loyal to Ana, he-he,”
Martin nudged Tyron, who stepped back but grinned. “They’re not here for Ana but for Caridad and Chloe,” they both turned to the police.
“Mrs. Caridad Villalobos and Mrs. Chloe Villalobos, you are arrested for attempted murder. There is also a warrant for your arrest.” the police said, and immediately handcuffed Chloe and Caridad. Chloe’s daughter ran after her with Mateo's support.
“Mommy will come back, okay? Daddy will take care of you for now,” Chloe said tearfully, trying to kiss her daughter on the cheek, but Mateo lifted her.
“You have no right to my child. I don’t want her to grow up with a murderer like you,” Mateo said coldly, turned his back on his mother and wife, and quickly got into his car, speeding away.
Chloe sobbed as the police helped her into the car and left for the police station.
“What now?” Paris asked.
“Oh, shit! Ana!” Martin shouted, pulling Tyron and pushing him into the car.
“Ouch! Easy, bro!”
Martin glared at Tyron, who just grinned and scratched his head.
“Tell me her whereabouts before I kill you,”
Tyron swallowed and took out his phone to track Ana, but there was no signal, so Tyron cursed and nervously looked at Martin.
“What?”
Tyron swallowed again and prayed to many saints. “I can’t track Ana’s location anymore; it seems she turned off her phone,” he said, scratching his cheek.
“The fuck? You’re useless! What about Levi?”
Tyron shook his head. “His phone is also turned off.”
“Damn! Remind me to kill you later! Let's find them!”
Tyron swallowed repeatedly and just nodded while scratching his head, as if he was about to attend his wake. 'Oh, Ana, hurry before your boyfriend burns me alive!'

Ana arrived at the warehouse and saw Levi’s car parked, so she quickly got out of her car. She saw Levi putting bags of money in his car, so she hurried to the
driver’s seat to confront him. Levi was surprised to see Ana in the driver’s seat.
“Ana…!” he gasped as Ana grabbed him.
“Sit down!” Ana shouted, so he quickly sat in the passenger seat and closed the door.
Ana let go of him and started the car. “If I don’t kill you, Don Levi… we’ll both go to hell together for all the evil you’ve done.” Ana firmly said as she drove the car.
While they were on the road, Levi quickly came up with a plan and grabbed the steering wheel, causing the car to swerve. Levi elbowed Ana hard, causing her to let go of the steering wheel and the brake, bringing the car to a stop.
Levi quickly got out of the car and hid in the bushes to avoid being caught by Ana. Ana held her head as she felt dizzy from Levi’s attack. She also felt blood dripping from her nose, which she quickly wiped away.
She leaned against the car for a moment before checking Levi’s car and finding a .45 caliber gun hidden by Levi. Furthermore, she took it and checked for bullets, finding many, so she tucked it into her waist and tore off her gown, leaving her in her bare feet to run without hindrance.
Afterward, she got out of the car and ran into the bushes to find Levi.
“You won’t get out of here alive, Levi! You still have to pay for all your sins against my family and the people!” I shouted, looking around as I heard rustling. “You’re a greedy coward! You let your wife and Chloe pay to escape everything! You’re despicable! Come out! Don’t hide! Face me! Don’t be a coward!”
“AAHHH!! ANA!!!!”
I turned and grabbed the stick he was about to hit me with, causing his eyes to widen, and quickly snatched it away, hitting his leg with it.
He fell and tried to crawl away to escape, but I didn’t let him and hit him with the stick again.
“I’ll make you regret living!” I yelled at him and hit him again, but he kicked me, making me step back.
He quickly crawled away, but I suddenly grabbed his foot and hit his leg with the stick again, causing him to scream.
“This is for my parents!” I hit him again. “This is for Grandma Tasing!” I continued hitting him repeatedly until he was crippled. “This is for all the people who were victims of your violence! I will be the one to end what you started!” I hit him with all my strength while he continued to plead, causing me to stop.
“You know how to beg now? You know how to kneel to ask for help?” I scoffed and ran my hand through my hair. “Fuck you!” I shouted, spitting at him. “Why should I pity you when you didn’t show any mercy to my parents? Did you listen to the cries and pleas of my mother and my father? Did you listen to their suffering? No! You didn’t listen to anyone because you only listened to yourself!”
“You think too highly of yourself, thinking you’re always right!”
“Stop it! You know nothing!” he shouted.
“I know a lot! I know everything about you, Levi! I know all the things you’ve done! Not only that, but I also know what you did to Don Martinez!”
He paused because I was right that he did something to Don Martinez.
“How dare you negotiate with Martin when you killed Don Martinez, his beloved father! And the true father of this nation!”
He was even more stunned as he seemed to remember the atrocity he committed against Don Martinez. I took out my phone and opened it again. Martin’s call appeared.
(“Oh, thank god! Ana! Where the hell are you?!”)
I ignored him and continued.
“You poisoned Don Martinez when you found out he was investigating what happened to my father!”
(“What? I heard it. What the hell is this?”)
“You paid off and threatened the Montecillo family doctor to manipulate the autopsy results of Don Martinez’s death. You made it look like he had a heart attack, but the truth is you poisoned him! You didn’t want Don Martinez to know the truth about the tragedy, but the truth is, Don Martinez knew all your sins because he read Lady Stella’s diary, my mother.”
(“F…uck.”)
“Don’t lie! There’s no truth in what you’re saying! I could never kill Don Martinez—”
“You already did! I conducted an investigation against you, and a doctor approached me to testify that Don Martinez didn’t die of a heart attack but was poisoned, which led to the death of the former mayor.” I whispered into the phone. “That’s the truth about Don Martinez’s death, Martin. He killed our father, he ruined our family, and now, I will end it.” I said to Martin, then hung up and turned off the phone, throwing it away.
“You’re such a demon! Will you still deny everything? I have sent all the physical evidence I have against you! I had Chloe and Caridad arrested for attempting to kill me. You have no escape. You will die in hell yourself—AGH!” I was pushed back as he kicked me hard, causing me to drop the wood and fall.
He tried to crawl away to escape, but I didn’t let him. I picked up the gun I had and aimed it, then pulled the trigger, hitting him in the leg, causing him to fall again.
I took a deep breath and steadied my hand to stand up. “I will finish you myself, Levi!” I shouted and chased after him, but it seemed like he had already hidden in the grass. “Damn it! Don’t make me suffer! Face me! Don’t be a coward! Show me who you are, Levi Villalobos!”
“I’m not a coward! Ahhhh!” he screamed and punched me, so I punched him back.
“You’re a coward! All you think about is
reputation and wealth! You even claim some of my properties!”
We wrestled, and he was about to kick me when I beat him to it.
“You’re pregnant! That’s why you’re desperately protecting your belly! Hahaha ha! You'll lose another child, Ana! Hahaha!” he laughed maniacally.
“I won’t let our child be lost! I will protect him just like my mother did to me.” I kicked him, making him step back. “Only one of us will get out of here alive.” I shouted, and we both looked at the gun I dropped, so we rushed to grab it, but I got to it first and shot him in the head.
He looked at me and finally fell down, his blood spreading on the ground.
I stood in front of him. “Killing you is not in my plan because I want you to rot in hell and suffer until your last breath, but maybe it’s your time to die. Your wife and other people will suffer for all your sins. You rot in hell.”
I screamed as I fired multiple shots at Levi until the bullets ran out. When the bullets were gone, I threw the gun and noticed that the whole ground seemed to be covered in water, but it was not water, it was gas.
“Oh fuck… You want us to go to hell together until the end, but it’s not my time yet, Levi, because there are people waiting for me and a child to be born.” I said as I turned away from him, with fire blazing in the background.
I stumbled out of the clearing and leaned against the car, holding my stomach with one hand. My vision spun, and I collapsed on the ground, struggling to breathe. I heard the ambulance siren and saw the lights of the vehicles, which made me smile.
“Damn, Ana!”
I looked up and smiled when I saw Martin’s face. “Thank you for everything you've done — cough — for me…”
“Shh! Shh! Don’t talk. You will be taken to the hospital, okay? So please don't force yourself to speak.”
I was lifted and placed on a stretcher, still holding Martin's hand.
“Please, save our son… Don’t lose him.”
He froze and his eyes widened. “Oh, fuck! Damn!” He shouted as he shook the nurse who was carrying my stretcher. “I’M GOING TO BE A FATHER! Did you hear that? I'LL BE A FATHER!”
I just shook my head at him and was loaded into the ambulance. I nodded to Martin, knowing he would follow to the hospital, but he also brought Tyron along.
“You’re pregnant?”
I nodded and looked away from him.
“I didn’t notice that! Oh! fuck Ana! Martin will kill me!”
I sighed and held my stomach. “Sorry, I kept it a secret because I didn't want you to stop me from what I was going to do. I want to end this on my own.”
He sighed and scratched his head. “Is he dead?”
I nodded again and looked up. “I would like to attend the trial while I’m still pregnant. I want to witness the judgment of Caridad and Chloe for Levi’s sins before we go to Spain. I haven’t talked to Martin yet, but I plan to give birth in Spain where my mother lives. Furthermore, I also want to see my grandfather.”
Tyron nodded and crossed his arms. “So, is my mission over? Dad is scolding me because he's the one attending my meetings, saying he should be on vacation,” Tyron said, indicating he was needed in his company.
“I’m an engineer, Ana, not a cop!”
I laughed but still coughed because it seemed like I inhaled a lot of smoke.
“Sorry… But I had no one else to rely on but you. I didn't want Martin’s friends to get involved in my revenge… I think they’ve helped me enough. It was too chaotic, so I had no choice but to ask you to do the mission.”
His eyes widened, and he held his chest. “No choice? That’s a double kill!”
I just laughed and shrugged, but I was truly grateful for all his help.
“Do you want me to introduce you to Lucas?”
He suddenly looked puzzled. “Huh? Why Lucas? Why not Arielle?” he raised an eyebrow, making me laugh.
“Oh, I thought because he-he... I just saw on your phone that Lucas had plenty of missed calls… He seems worried about you, he-he, sorry…”
“What the fuck? That’s my privacy!” he shouted, but I just laughed.
He was just pretending. Rio was the same but with my uncle. Wait, how old is Uncle Max?
We paused as Tyler’s phone rang, but he just let it ring.
“Go. Answer it. Your ringtone is too loud,” I said. Irritated, he answered the call, and I could hear Lucas' voice.
(“Hey! Why did you take so long to answer? You didn’t come back to my condo! Is Ana okay?”)
Tyler and I exchanged glances, but I just looked away as if I didn't hear anything.
“Go to hell, asshole.”
(“Fuck? Hey—”) he ended the call and put his phone back in his pocket, but it rang again, and Tyler seemed annoyed.
I just shook my head and turned to the other side because I overheard that Martin was sending me to the hospital in Manila. I sighed in relief as I started to feel better.
Furthermore, I never thought that everything would finally come to an end, and I could start a new life with Martin and our child. They were right, sometimes things don’t go as planned because it seems like that’s what’s meant to happen.
Due to Levi’s greed, it was also destined for him to pull the trigger and get hit by a bullet. He was finished just like that. I wanted to see him suffer, but it won’t happen now because he’s destined to go to hell.
Mom, Dad, your justice will prevail.
