The two figures clashed together with a thunderous boom and were thrown back as black and red streaks.
Cassius smashed straight through a massive boulder. Debris and dust shot everywhere, but a black silhouette streaked out again like a meteor. Cassius's eyes were like those of an eagle, firmly locked onto the three-meter-tall red-cloaked phantom ahead.
He threw a punch, propelling his whole body forward at breakneck speed. A thin red line sped after the Seranar King and, just before catching up, suddenly expanded into a Blood Vulture.
The Blood Vulture violently shook its blade-like wings, the surging red Qi on them resembling blazing flames. It raged forward, its crimson eyes seemingly dripping blood.
The Seranar King’s cross sword traced a crescent arc through the air as he hacked fiercely at the Blood Vulture that Cassius had become!
The Black Inscription Eyes lit up one after another during the slash. Altogether, eight eyeballs shone to release an ultimate sense of destruction.
The two figures brushed past each other, their power erupting simultaneously. The Seranar King turned into a rapidly darting crimson afterimage. Meanwhile, Cassius swooped through the air like a fighter jet.
Drops of blood pattered down, along with shards of dense red light. It flowed like a waterfall along Cassius's hand. He glanced at his right hand; a slash mark had appeared on his palm, and the corrosive destructive effect of the Black Inscription Eye was rapidly spreading.
With a thought, Cassius expelled it using his Qi of the Dominator Fist. He raised his head to look at the distant Seranar King. A section of the King's robe was missing, and a claw-mark puncture wound had even appeared on the surface of his densely condensed energy body. Energy leaked out like steam.
The Seranar King frowned slightly. The Death's Fang Force that had invaded his wound was frantically breaking down and consuming his Seranar energy. When he gathered Seranar energy to expel it, the Death's Fang Force displayed astonishing penetration and tenacity.
For the moment, it was like poison clinging to bone, impossible to drive completely from the body.
While the Seranar King paused and was distracted, Cassius turned into a red afterimage and charged again. The power of the Dominator Fist erupted without restraint.
The two normally sized figures tangled in the sky, yet the terrifying noise of their clashes was like two mountains crashing together. Winds and shockwaves spread in ripples visible to the naked eye. With each explosion, black mist shot upward like a mushroom cloud.
Two different red lights filled the entire sky.
In a short span, the two ultimate beings had collided tens of thousands of times, their energy pouring crazily into every inch of the space.
Cassius grew ever more at ease, as his combat became smoother and more fluid. He was gradually adapting to Holy Fist-level combat. In contrast, the Seranar King was slowly falling behind. Nine of the ten Black Inscription Eyes upon the cross sword now glowed as he desperately consumed Black Inscription energy. Yet even so, they could not do away with Cassius, managing only to inflict minor scrapes.
With no alternative left, the Seranar King even activated the other two kinds of supreme eyes. The Eye of Light and the Blood-Pupil Eye combined, their stacking effects making each clash ever more intense.
This gave Cassius a certain amount of trouble. However, once he grew accustomed to them, he was soon able to cope calmly again.
Must I make all ten supreme eyes erupt at once?! The Seranar King's Will fluctuated rapidly as he swung his weapon madly in combat.
It was not that he did not wish to use the power of all ten supreme eyes from the start; rather, joint resonance would destroy them all afterward. Even a being of the Seranar King's caliber had to spend decades, even centuries, to condense a single supreme eye. If ten disappeared together, it would be the waste of a millennium of accumulation.
Such a loss was hard to accept even for an Ultimate Dark Form. Yet the distant Deep Ice Ultimate Fist was already racing toward him. If he did not decide soon, he would face a two-on-one situation!
By then, it would not merely be a millennium's accumulation at stake, but severe injury or even death!
"Ten Black Inscription Eyes...? No, use them all! Black Inscription! Eye of Light! Blood-Pupil!"
The Seranar King grew anxious as his earlier composure and arrogance disappeared. He no longer wished to hunt Cassius to advance himself further. All he wanted was to crawl through a dog's hole and slip back to the World of Calamity like a turtle with its head pulled in; nothing else mattered!
The horrifying wave of mental energy made even the air shudder. The Seranar King raised the one-handed weapon, gathering Seranar energy into a gruesome blood-stained scythe more than ten meters long with a monstrous, massive end.
Thirty eyes lit up at the same time as he swung the scythe down at Cassius!
Multiple effects stacked and resonated, suddenly bringing forth a streak of golden sparks. That golden light was the pinnacle of sharpness, destruction, and dread. It seemed capable of cleaving an entire continent cleanly in two!
"Begone!" the Seranar King roared in fury.
Boundless explosions and collisions reverberated as smoke and dust filled the sky, obscuring both figures.
A wild gale suddenly swept across and the two shadows before Saint Lun Mountain froze in place like statues. The Seranar King's scythe had cut into Cassius's body, almost skewering him diagonally, just a hair from severing him in two. Yet Cassius wore a ferocious expression, as though possessed by madness.
Both his fists had pierced the Seranar King's energy body, and his five fingers were firmly embedded in the king's back.
"You... you!" The Seranar King's single red eye widened, full of incredulity.
That strike of his should have seriously wounded even a Holy Fist, and with bad luck, outright killed one! Anyone rational would have avoided that scythe at all costs. In that case, the Seranar King could have shaken Cassius off and dashed into the inter-world passage as he wished.
However, Cassius had not done so. He had actually taken that blow head-on!
Facing the Seranar King directly, Cassius's face and eyes showed not a trace of pain, only ruthlessness and fervor. He had made up his mind: before this time-travel ended, he would butcher a Ultimate Dark Form and taste what it was like!
If he wanted his body to reach the Ultimate Dark Form tier; if he wanted his Golem Covert Martial Arts to advance further; and if he wanted to keep climbing as a Dominator Fist; he needed the Seranar King to generously offer up the power he had amassed over countless years!
So, why don't you die here like a good boy? Saint Lun Mountain is the grave I have chosen for you!!!
