Chapter 11: Chapter 11

Xavier fisted his hand at his side reprimanding himself for losing his cool with Maya a few minutes ago, but the mere mention of another male was enough to make him lose it.

He closed his eyes trying to clear his head as the desire to find the person who his little kitten was so eager to spend her time with and destroy him was becoming overwhelming.

He couldn't understand the indescribable feeling of wanting to own and bind someone to himself as he wanted with her and heck he wouldn't care on a normal day but again he thought, no woman had dared mention another man when they were with him.

They have been so damn eager to please him and make him want them but yet his little kitten was doing the opposite and still he wanted her so badly, he wanted her so much that it was slowly becoming an unhealthy obsession he thought flustered internally yet maintaining a solemn expression on his face as he nodded at his driver throwing his keys at him.

The weekend has been extremely long and frustrating for him as he realized he missed stealing glances at Maya as she worked, he missed her little telltale gestures, like blinking thrice when lying, avoiding eye contact, the way she grins triumphantly at him high fiving herself when she does an excellent job and he was too arrogant to acknowledge it.

He missed her smartass cheeky replies to most of his orders and the way she answered his questions even before he voiced them out, winking at him and calling herself the omniscient.

He also missed grinning secretly while watching her curse under her breath, after giving her an order that he knows very well will annoy the shit out of her and it scares him.

He groaned.

"I need to fuck her and get her out of my system." He whispered to himself then maliciously smiling, he wore his sunglasses now outside the building. "But until then she is mine." He added.

He had left her immediately because the way her ass was up in the air while holding onto the desk was making him go hard, as he feels the animalistic urge to take her right there, not minding that she was inexperienced. He wanted to fuck her so hard and rough that she will be gripping the desk for her dear life.

He sat down inside the car trying to cool off. He has been acting like a perfect gentleman with her throughout the week scared of frightening her but she just had to mention another "he" and ruin all his hard work.

He had wanted her with him at his meeting even though she was not needed, because of that damn dress she was putting on.

He massaged the side of his head lightly as he felt an incoming ache, something he frequently had this day.

The dress she was wearing wasn't exactly provoking but her legs were on display and were making him lose his mind as he imagined them around his waist, her core directly against his hard erection, their lips locked in an intense kiss just like that night at the club.

He groaned, not believing he was daydreaming about her like some scrawny geek kid who was just experiencing puberty and was thrilled his crush said hi to him.

But he wanted to keep an eye on her, as he didn't want any male advances or attention on her once he was gone and he was glad he did. At least her lunch date has been suspended until he could think of a way to stop it completely even though his chances seem impossible and unpractical.

The door slammed shut with more force than needed, startling him. He smirked, noticing that she had sat at the edge of the other side of the car and had put her files between them as barricades even though she was already way away from his reach.

He nodded at the driver, an indication that he should start driving and he did.

He drummed his fingers Rhythmically against the laptop on his lap while studying her expression. She seem deep in thought and her beautiful brown eyes had sadness and defeat on them, emotions he had a craving to make disappear.

He huffed feeling guilt knowing that he could make them disappear but who was he kidding? He was no hero. He was too selfish to just let her go. Not until he gets her out of his system completely.

Her phone rang, whoever was calling her made her bit her lower lip, another telltale sign that indicated she was nervous.

Xavier narrowed his eyes at her, following her little gesture, and even though he was aware that she wasn't trying to intentionally seduce him and it was a very innocent gesture yet it got him very much aroused.

Her short dress had hiked up when she had sat down adding to his problem. But he knew better than to act on his urge as he kept his hands to himself.

Being with her was pure torture, but the thought of being without her made his torture bearable.

"Hello." She whispered nervously.

Xavier brought out his phone pretending to be engrossed on his screen but was curious to know who she was talking to.

He secretly hoped it wasn't her lover or worst her boyfriend, as just the thought of sharing her with someone had him feeling a scary kind of way he was uncomfortable with.

"About that. I am sorry but I have to cancel," She whispered. "Again." She added throwing him a mean glare when she thought he wasn't watching.

Just great she thought, she was nervous because she was going to cancel on him, he should even be glad she thought him worthy of spending her time with him, he thought though that event was something he just couldn't let take place without doing anything.

"I am sorry." She whispered again, remorse on her face.

She paused, as her Expression instantly transformed into that of relief as whatever he had said had made her feel less guilty.

"You are a darling you Know?" She asked smiling a little.

Xavier scowled glaring at his phone at the endearment. Done pretending, he threw his phone, glaring at her hard when she didn't notice his little stunt as she laughed hard, obviously, Mr caller had said something really funny Xavier sarcastically thought rolling his eyes.

He did say funny things at the office, didn't he? He thought, but she always groaned, glare smirked, or frown when she was with him and that made him insanely jealous of whoever she was talking to.

"No personal phone calls." He maliciously ordered not sure he could take any more of how loud and happy she was with whoever she was speaking to.

She removed her phone from her ear looking at him.

"But we are not in the office!" She complained.

"But you are with me." He blurted out loving the underlying meaning of his sentence.

She frowned, mumbling something incoherent he knew was her cursing at him, and then rolling her eyes she lifted a finger, a signal that she will be done in a minute as she returned to her call.

"I need to go now. Yes, it's a date. 7:30 is perfect." She quickly rapped and then hangs up.

Xavier smirked, not when he has something to say about that.

"Why did you lie to me about yourself the day we met?" Maya calmly asked interrupting the comfortable silence between them after she had hung

She was staring out of the window, no doubt admiring the beautiful landscape of the residential area they have maneuvered into.

He looked at her surprised, not expecting the question.

"It was a one-night stand, you didn't even know my name." He commented shrugging.

"That was different, but you tricked me into believing you were just an average person. A hired Rolls-Royce? The double suite which was a favor? I thought maybe just maybe you were doing a lot to make me comfortable." She bitterly stated.

"God I'm damn stupid because I did feel special grinning like a fool." She commented.

"I'm sorry but I couldn't tell you." He simply replied.

"Why?" She whispered.

She turns towards him, and he could see the anger in her eyes, that he could handle but the hurt threw him off balance. He wanted to punish whoever had put that look on her face even though it was looking like he was guilty in this case.

"Was it because you had conveniently thought, what decent girl Allows a guy she just met have sex with her? So you concluded I was a gold digger." She stated accusation and malice in her tone.

Her voice was slightly raised.

He was shocked at her sudden outburst, he had never thought of her in such a manner, or seen her in that light.

He had seen the innocence in her even that night, that he had chastised himself for being so caught up with the desire and lust she had ignited in him and not figuring out she was a virgin.

Despite the tight gown and makeup, it was her innocence that lured him in, like a moth to a flame he was attracted to the purity and light he could sense in her. And the little hints and gestures, her being uncomfortable in her dress, the way she turned a bright shade of red at every little sexual innuendo or comment.

"I will never think of you like that!" Xavier firmly commented, angry that she even thought of something like that.

"If you could go back to that night, will you have dared look at me if you knew who I was?" He asked her.

She looked away That was all the answer he needed.
