After Xinyan finished speaking, she looked at the others: "Anyone want to go to canteen number two for dumplings and braised pork?"

While eating, they were chatting on and off, when someone nearby asked: "Excuse me, is anyone sitting here?"

Xinyan and Jiang Peiqin looked over to see two handsome boys standing there.

The two girls glanced around. The nearby tables were mostly occupied; though other tables had one or two empty spots, since the boys had come over to ask, they couldn’t refuse, given it was a public dining hall.

Xinyan nodded slightly at them, then continued her conversation with Jiang Peiqin.

The boys initially wanted to strike up a conversation, but seeing no real interest from the girls, felt too embarrassed to speak further.

With someone watching them, they uncomfortably sped up their eating.
