Chapter 58: Chapter 58

"Principessa?" Barra's voice assured me that I'm still alive.

I was so limp as I opened my eyes. My hand had its way to my face. I shut my mouth closed while I yawned.

"Glad to see you wake up again." His words made me chuckle.

"Hmmm, you're still waiting for me? I thought Moorah already stole you from me."

His face frowned when I mentioned Moorah's name, "I'm just kidding." I laughed out loud, "Besides, I know who you love. That person is me and not another woman."

He gave me his best smile, "Oh yeah?" His finger poked my nose.

"Auch! Stop it." I tried to reach his finger. The more I couldn't get it, the more he kept teasing me. He kept poking my nose, every time I tried to stop him.

He chuckled, "I win and you lose." He told me then showing me his thumbs down.

"I hate you." Hearing my answer, he moved closer to me. He pulled the strands of my hair behind my ear. His gaze made me embarrassed.

Our breaths seemed to clash with each other as he drew the distance between us. There were no blemishes between our lips. I wanted to feel it on my lips after the last time I tasted it.

I brought my face closer but he just stopped his move and it pissed me off.

"As I recall, you said that you hate me." A smirk appeared on his attractive face, made me realize he was playing tricks on me.

"I HATE YOU!!!" I screamed in annoyance as he laughed out loud.

"I HATE YOU." I said it in like countless times without stopping, making his face turned serious when my tone was no longer joking and as funny as before.

"Are you mean it?" His face hardened, and it was my turn to laugh out loud.

"Look at your face! Damn, it's like you got hit by elephant."

He groaned, "It's not funny."

"It is." I didn't agree with his words. His annoyed face gave me light in my heart. The way he answered my words back made me even more sure he was created for me.

"Can we stop this childishness?" He asked with his hands on his waist.

I answered by rolling my eyes, "We can if you want to give in to me."

"That's cheating." He stated.

I raised my eyebrows while continuing to stare at him. He was getting uneasy, because his eyes began to look around besides me.

"Fine, it was funny." He muttered again, "Elsa and the others want to see you soon. They're really worried."

Speaking of other matters, I remembered what had happened.

"There's something I want to share with you before anyone else." Well, I got the lesson from what had happened. I would share my stories and secrets with him first before the others.

Barra nodded then sat beside me, "I want to know it." His expression turned serious in an instant.

"It's about my father."

"I know there must be something strange going on." He commented again.

I nodded, "Before Yolanda, my father had another affair with a woman whose name I still don't know."

He listened carefully to my words. I felt a warmth when his hand touched mine. He focused on me. His eyes were watching me so I could clearly see my reflection there.

"And that woman is my mother." He held tight in my hand, "Don't worry, it's all been a long time ago. I'm not sad or feeling anything but empty." My words described my feelings openly.

He hugged me, then stroked my head, "Thank you for still wanting to be with me." I whispered, making him hug me tighter.

"No, I'm the one who should say it. You feel empty because you feel alone. Do you forget about me? You have me and the others."

I snuggled in his embrace, "How can I forget I have you after what had happened?"

I felt his body shudder as he chuckled.

"But, how about Jeremy Ozza?" I asked him as I let go of his arms.

"Haytham took care of him. I don't know what's he gonna do to him." He said, searching for my reaction when I gave him a blank one.

"Oh, right." I smiled as it was nothing, "I want to meet the others." It was true. They were my good friends. I was so glad that I had them in my life, and went through everything with them by my side.

He smiled then took my hand to kiss it, "I'll call them."

"No, I wanna go outside."

"What? No, you just woke up." His voice was walking between command and force.

"Fine." I said when I felt my body was so weak to even get up.

The door opened and then closed sounded loud in my ears. He went outside the room. A minutes later, the door opened again. Elsa entered excitedly, running towards me.

"I MISS YOUUU." She yelled then hugged me, "God, how are you feeling?" She asked me even when I was so difficult to breath because she hugged me too tight.

"I feel good." I replied, "Just a little limp."

Ronald and Jake was standing there, looking at me. Jake smiled at me.

"Elsa, stop." Ronald told her to let go of me. Maybe he could see how my breath got stuck in my mouth.

"Oops, sorry. I miss you so much until I-" She didn't finish her words when something came to her mind, "Thanks to Young Master, because of him, I met you and being your friend." I nodded at her words.

"So? Feeling better now?" Jake approached me. He looked so much fine than before.

I shrugged then showed him a blessing smile.

"Feeling better after spent some time with her boyfriend." Ronald chirped. His chirp succeeded in making my cheeks flushed.

"Awe, you're blushing." Jake laughed as he pointed his finger towards me.

"Where's Barra?" I asked when I saw he wasn't coming back.

"He has something to do for a while." Elsa told me. She was sitting next to me with her hand on my shoulder.

"Miss him so much?" Ronald and Jake laughed as I threw them my pillow.

"Stop it." They stopped laugh not because of me but because Barra came in. He looked at us full of confusion, not knowing what happened.

"What?"

"Nothing." I smiled sweetly, making Ronald and Jake smirked again.

It was great to be able to laugh with them, spending time together. They're my real family, the long lost family that I finally found.

"Janielle!" Alia was also present. I was shocked when she was getting closer to me. My eyes filled with tears to her smile.

"Thank you for coming." She hugged me, making the others showed an-awe faces.

"Don't cry. It's all over." Her little hand rubbed my cheek. This little girl really made me fall into her words.

"I'm not sad anymore." I told her by wiping my tears, "It's all over so, we can get back together?"

She giggled then nodded, "Yeah! And you can play with me like when we were in the orphanage."

"Awww." Elsa muttered with compassion, "Let's play then."

I looked at Barra and sent him a thank you smile. All of this could not had passed without him. Secret, and the journey from my beginning, I went through with him.

My heart was relieved after all the dark days had passed. Never crossed my mind, I would be accepted back by him ... but, he accepted me and stayed by my side as always.

Without him I wouldn't know Elsa, Jake, and Ronald. He was my hero in every low point of my life. My important part, family, and friends that I may never had found before were now with me.

I felt safe in Haytham's arms, but I felt safer in his arms. He gave me a feeling of peace and challenge in the same time I looked him in the eye.

My soul was destined for him and he was created to complete me. It's just that time was too late to answer it.

It's all in my hands now and I swear I won't waste anything.
