Chapter 92: Chapter 92

Max staring at a small box, which come from Cecilia, with mixed feeling. He was happy when saw his fiancé's face, however, a hint of hesitation and awkwardness still lingering.

When she entered the room, he realized that he was missing her. It's weird because he didn't realize it sooner.

Her smile was bright as usual. He noticed a dark circle around her eyes. Dragon's bless should make Cecilia understand his feeling.

Unfortunately, it didn't apply to Max's case. Her true feeling is still a mystery for him.

"It shouldn't be a problem, though. We are destined for each other." He said while holding her gift.

Hugo was come abruptly when she enters his office and 'kidnap' her in front of his eyes.

Now, the two of them was visiting the school together. Meanwhile, Max was lonely in his office.

He wants to swapping place with Hugo. But, he wasn't sure if he can talk properly with her.

"Ah, why did everything feel so damn complicated? Jeez." He slowly opened the box and his eyes widen when knowing the item.

It's a boutonniere.

A floral decoration, typically a single flower or bud, worn on the lapel of a tuxedo or suit jacket. Usually reserved for special occasions for which formal wear is standard, such as at banquet, ball, funerals, and weddings.

The white rose was surrounded with a circle of blue, forget-me-not. It's so beautiful, and he can smell a faint fragrance from it.

He can't help but smile, "Wow, did she make it by herself? How adorable!"

It must be for tomorrow's event. Since they can't wear a couple of attire. This should be enough. Cecilia must be wear the same flower for her corsage.

He carefully put the small bouquet in the box and lightly kissed it.

Neither emperor nor crown prince request a meeting with him. That's why Max though that they have no problem for perform 'some tearful drama'.

"I should've thanked her for this. But, how?" Max closed his eyes and drowning into his mind.

Cecilia smiling ear to ear when she's visiting the school. Even though, she doesn't know to handle the children. Only looking at their enthusiasm to learning something new, made her heart flutter.

"What do you think, Young Miss?" Hugo asked when they were seeing the wood crafting class from the window.

"It's better than I expected. How many children who get enroll to this school?"

Hugo tilted his head, "Almost forty. To be exact, they are thirty-eight student and divided into four classes."

"Hmm, it's less than I thought. It should've more than a hundred along with the teenager or young adult who doesn't have a job, isn't it?"

Hugo shrugged, "I don't know either. Since the opening, we got so many feedbacks from people. But, only a third of them who really attend this school."

Cecilia didn't answer and keep staring at the students who learning to make a small figurine.

"What do you think if we sell them?"

Hugo's head turned around and facing her with a confused look, "Pardon me?"

"First, we make an audition for every craft they made. The selected arts will be shown off and can be sold at the Square for the winter's festival. Don't worry, I will rent the venue and everything. Then, you and the teachers can focus on judging the value of their craft. Whether in commercial or on artistic side."

"Ah, we are talking about craft? I see." Hugo let out a relief sigh when heard it. "Well, it's a good idea. Then how about the profit sharing?"

Cecilia snickered, "I want to say that the student will get a hundred percent. But, you must be disagreed about this."

"Because you are too kind, Young Miss. How about fifty-fifty?"

"Cheapskate. Seventy-thirty. Seventy for the student, of course. The thirty for the school's income."

Hugo snorted, "I guess you are an easy target for scam. Please be careful, Young Miss. Anyway, why don't you become a judge of this audition?"

"I don't have any sense of art."

"Really? I thought you were great at drawing or painting." Hugo was surprised by her answer.

Cecilia smile faintly. In her previous life as Ji Eun, she was a member and vice president of Art Club. She still remembers how to draw or even make some sculpture. But, she didn't feel confident with her skill.

"It just a hobby. Nothing serious."

"Hmm, too bad. You should try to make one, Young Miss. They said art can relieve your stress."

She can't help but smile. "I guess you were right. Anyway, is Gillian here?"

Hugo nodded, and they continued moving to seeing on another class. "Yes. He was back with his fiancé. They will be married on the next week."

"Next week? How fast! Ah, so, he didn't invite me."

"Really? I'm sure that he already sent you one--, Oh wait. The address!  He must be sent it to the South Island. I guess you should go there with Bo-- I mean, Max."

Suddenly, she looks gloomy. "Ah, you are right."

"If I got one gold coin every time you were fighting with him, I could buy this empire and became an emperor."

She giggles, "I don't think so. Besides, we are not to fight or argue. We just… Well, you know? Cooling down for a moment."

"Ah, I never know how to solve a youngster problem."

Cecilia grinned again. But, she didn't answer because her gaze was fixed on something.

It was Gillian who painting something familiar to her. A picture of his former boy group who smiling to each other.

He was so focused at his canvas, failed to notice her arrival into the recreation room.

He was startled when Hugo whistle. "I was unaware that you can paint. But, sorry to say, I prefer to see a group of women than several men who wearing something weird like that."

Gillian smiled, "Ah, is that you, Hugo. And Young Miss from Lancia's family, I'm honored."

She frowned when noticing that something was off from his faint smile. "What happened?"

Gillian's gaze move to his childhood friend, "Hugo, can you leave us alone?"

"Again?" He rolled his eyes. But, didn't further his objection. "Then, I will go to the teacher room. Please excuse me, Young Miss."

Cecilia nodded. By the time Hugo left the room, Gillian put his brush and staring at the painting.

"I don't know that you have a talent for drawing."

"Me either. It just happened." He said without even saw her. "Ji Eun, tell me, what did you do?"

Her brows raised, "What do you mean?"

The glasses man let out a heavy sighed. "I dream something peculiar, last night. The black cloud come to me, and it warned you to not messing up your fate, again. Otherwise, you'll be punished."
