Chapter 51: Chapter 51

"Young Miss, you are working hard today." Mary said while she gave a towel for Cecilia who already finished her sword training.

A week passed after her first training was began. Still, Theo only taught her how to swing that long sword.

"It is for your durability, Young Miss." He said when Cecilia asked him to give her another lessons. "You have to feel it. As if the sword is a part of your body."

But, it makes her feel bored to swing the sword for four hours.

"Oh, Young Miss. I need to inform you something." Theo said while she will leave the ground. "There is something to happen with your compost. The worms are coming out from the soil!"

Cecilia's eyes widen, "Whoa! It's good news! That's mean it succeed. I will tell Baron Ambrose."

"Oh really?" He let out a relief sigh. "I thought I made some mistake."

"No, Theo. You're already doing the best. Thank you."

Theo slightly bowed. "I am just doing what you've taught me, Young Miss."

Cecilia's smile fading when she remembered the moment Max pledged his royalty. After that, Cecilia feeling a bit difficult to see his eyes. After Kaleela said that she can't make the potionsin the meantime, Cecilia never come back to the lake.

Sometimes, Max visited her when she was all alone. But their night journeys was completely stopped.

If she can't sleep instead of the lake, she came to the library. Find the most boring book to make her sleepy.

"Young Miss, the letter from His Excellently was come this morning. I already put it to your desk."

"Thank you, Mary. I want to take bath after this. Please prepare me some clothes."

"Right away, Young Miss. I will prepare the water too."

"Thank you, Mary."

Her maid then bowed before left. Cecilia walked to the entrance of the City Hall and find Baron who was writing something in the receptionist's desk.

"Good afternoon, Baron Ambrose."

He looked up and nodded slowly. Cecilia raised her eyebrow when she noticed his confusion. Something seemed clouded in his mind, "Ah, yes. Good afternoon, My Lady. Is there something I can do for you?"

"I just want to tell you that the fertilizer is almost done. Can you tell the farmers to visit at the next week?"

"Is that so? Then I will do it, Young Lady."

"Is there something bothering you?"

Baron scratches his temple, "Well, I'm rereading your proposal, Young Lady. I don't know what the point to build those building. No one come to this island, though."

Cecilia smiled, "They will come, Baron. That's why I made this plan."

The proposal is about her 'Harvest Land'. She wants to build some ranches, poultry, and inn, too.

With her current budget, her target market wasn't the nobles. But the commoners or even people who came from middle class.

Cecilia wants to make everyone in this world know how to enjoy themselves. She believes that everyone deserve to have holiday from their endlessly routine. Even South Island's beach is not that beautiful, Cecilia will focus on the other aspect.

"Our island still struggling to in this farming thing. The grass problem for the horse isn't solved yet. How come we make a ranch, Young Lady?"

"We'll buy some hays. It is cheap if we buy in bulk and I already ask my people to hire the craft men and builders too. But, I think it is not enough. We still need local people to help them build the inns and ranch in the abandoned part of this island."

Baron still scratching his head. For him, it is solved the half of the problem of this island. Half of this island was hard, barren land. Nothing can grow from it.

So, to make a building in that place it a good thing to do. But, to turn this barren island to tourism object is a foolish idea!

"Don't worry, Baron. Just trust me." Baron exhales heavily. He knows that this Lady is smart. She creates a bug repellent, and it was quite effective. He can't wait to hear about her fertilizer, too.

But, this idea to make ranch on this island is gone too far. Then he saw a strong determination in her eyes and Baron choose to give up.

"Well, if you insist... then. But, how about the cost? You know that this island still in deficit, and it might take a time before you can make some profit. Our safest bet it must be after the next harvest."

"Don't worry, Baron. I think it takes two or three years for us to notice the growth."

"Three years?"

"Yes. That was the fastest."

"I think you will need my helps." Cecilia and Baron turned their head to the voice's owner.

While Cecilia gasped, Baron greets him formally, "Welcome to the South Island, Sir."

"It is Grant. Grant Lancia is my name."

"Oh! S-so you are...," Baron can't believe it. Another person from that powerful family is here!

"Why are you here?" Cecilia narrowed her brows, failed to hide her discomfort.

Grant smile widely. He seems in the good mood than the last time they met, "My, my. You are gets prettier now, my dear niece."

Cecilia crossed her arms and rolled her eyes, knowing that his uncle was talking in a sarcastic tone.

Then he asked Baron with a warm smile, "So, do you have any room here?"

"Yes, Sir! Of course, we have. Please let me introduce myself. My name is Baron Howard Ambrose. It is a pleasure to meet you, Sir Lancia."

Grant wrinkled his nose. "Ah, no, no. Just call me Grant."

Baron nodded, "Then I will show you the room, Sir Grant."

"Thank you, Baron. Oh, Niece. Let's meet after lunch."

Cecilia answered with a sour smile and ignore her uncle when he waved his hand to her.

When he disappeared for her sight, Cecilia wonders why did her uncle come here. After all, is not on this island anymore. Or, is it because Grant thinks that Cecilia know her current shelter?

But, Cecilia shook her head because she knows that it is impossible.

"Young Miss, your water is ready." Mary said in wide smile when she enters her room.

"Thank you, Mary."

"Please enjoy your bath, Young Miss." She said before she left the room.

Just when she's going to take off her clothes, her purple eyes notice a small paper bag on her nightstand.

"Is it from Mary?" She said while examining it.

There is a note beside it, and she read it, "'They said that bath salt can relieve fatigues. I don't know if it true or not because I never feel tired or anything. Then, what do you think, Chili?' Hmm, thank you. I never know that you are this humble, Max."

She said with a faint smile and entered the bathroom with a low whistling.
