After Leng Lamei led the people into the secret passage and found no children, she knew the matter might be exposed, but before they could devise a countermeasure, someone entered to apprehend them.

The transmitter onsite was photographed as evidence and also taken by the investigators.

Even though they tried to be discreet, the workers on a night shift at the factory still saw Leng Lamei being arrested by the police, and later, someone at the residential complex saw Sun Yu and the warehouse guard Old Cai being taken away.

The next morning, the valve factory was abuzz with the news again.
