Chapter 1620: Chapter 1620

At least Partner, Nyx, Nia, and Alma received their blessings, each from a different beast chosen from a group of three compatible options.

Partner chose the Tiger, Nyx selected the Dragon, Nia opted for the Rooster, and Alma picked the humble Rabbit, each providing remarkable bonuses tailored to their strengths.

The Tiger granted enhanced physical attack power and attack speed, with a modest critical hit chance and defense penetration, ideal for those who thrive in close combat, enduring wounds and bloodshed, but not suited for the faint of heart.

The Dragon offered reinforced scale defenses, sharp claws with superior attack power, and enhanced destructive magic breath, particularly suitable for actual dragons like Nyx. Dragons proved surprisingly versatile, with slightly higher defense and health bonuses.

The Rooster provided swift movements and consistent attack power, boosting damage per second and enabling piercing beak attacks, which Nia paired effectively with her sharp spear, complementing her wind and thunder abilities that deal continuous damage to trapped enemies.

Lastly, the Rabbit bestowed short bursts of speed, perfect for Alma to evade danger swiftly, along with increased agility, dexterity, and concentration, allowing her to focus better on her magic, escape threats, and seamlessly shift between stances and positions.

"Alright, that's done!" Maria said with a nod. "Are you guys sure you don't want one?"

She asked again, but they remained firm in their decision not to choose a blessing, so she let it be.

As for herself, she desired a blessing, but it seemed she was ineligible.

[You cannot select a Zodiac Beast Blessing because you have already been blessed by one or more Zodiac Beasts.]

"Wait, what? Does Wo Long's contract with me count as a blessing?!" Maria gasped in disbelief.

"Aw, that's truly a pity…" Emeraldine said.

"Well, it doesn't matter. I've grown plenty strong already," Maria said with a nod. "Anyway, let's keep moving. We've already spent a good hour on this."

Her family agreed, and Maria led them to the portal. There, they noticed two Players approaching.

They were a pair of fox people.

"Ah, you're still there! Maria! It's us!"

"Ferleen?" Maria asked, tilting her head. "What's wrong?"

"We wanted to… to go with you," Ferleen said. "Will you really do what you said?"

"Kill the Vampires? Certainly! I have no issue with that," Maria replied with a calm smile. "Do you want to come along?"

"Yes, please… we temporarily left our party," Melianna said with a sigh. "We didn't want to drag them into a problem that wasn't theirs."

"Oh… I suppose you're really coming along, then," Maria said with a nod. "Let's go together. We were about to visit the next floor. Is it filled with wars and battles like the others?"

"Ah, Floor 46? Well…" Ferleen murmured, as they all stepped through the portal.

Maria sensed several dimensional membranes this time, each charged with potent divine power. For some reason, it was slightly challenging for her to pass through, so she quickly sealed her power until she could enter.

Perhaps it was her immense power or another factor, but if she was already experiencing slight suppression, she could understand why the Outer Gods couldn't enter the Tower.

"And here we are… this is Floor 46, and it's truly not what we expected when we first arrived," said Ferleen.

Maria's eyebrows rose as she took in the view. Surrounded by a radiant blue sky with soft white clouds and a shining sun overhead, she found herself in a breathtaking garden of vibrant flowers.

A gentle breeze swayed the flowers gracefully. In the distance, she observed lush forests adorned with enormous blossoms that replaced many trees. Snow-capped mountains loomed far off, and golden temples resembling elegant pagodas floated in the skies.

These expansive gardens were adorned with vast, lake-sized ponds teeming with colorful carp and other exquisite fish, accompanied by the melodious songs of birds, creating an enchanting cacophony that seemed unending.

It felt markedly different from Zodiacron Prime, a world often cloaked in silence, with gray clouds and fog obscuring the sky, and ominous stone and steel pillars rising hundreds of kilometers from the ground.

"Wow! What is this place?" Nyx exclaimed, looking around. "Look, Mom, those trees are full of flowers!"

Cherry trees dominated the landscape, their delicate pastel pink petals accentuating the green forests, as their blossoms drifted in the breeze.

It seemed this world was eternally in spring, with beautiful butterflies and bees flitting everywhere. Some were normal-sized, while others were as large as cars, yet they ignored the group as they buzzed through the skies.

"Welcome to Blossomveil, Players."

A gentle feminine voice resonated through the gardens, and a spirit materialized from the flowers, taking the form of a beautiful Japanese woman with long black hair and serene blue eyes, dressed in a pink and gold kimono.

"Hello, we are just passing through," Maria said. "What is this place?"

"This is a Divine Realm born from Ancient Kami, and I am a Guider Spirit. As you can discern, this is primarily a peaceful world, overseen by its Divine Rulers. There are no wars to fight or Calamities to defeat. You are free to explore this world, gather resources, and visit our resorts and villages to sample our cuisine, try on traditional garments, and perhaps discover rare items."

"Naturally, there are numerous hunting grounds for those seeking relaxed hunting sessions. To the west lies the Titan Bee Colony, to the east, the Mountain Wasp Hive, and to the south, you can find the Snow Tigers, all high-level monsters that yield valuable items."

"That sounds delightful! I wish we had time to settle down and enjoy, but I suppose we'll keep moving, right?" Maria asked.

"I mean, sure, but can we enjoy the journey to the Tower?" Emeraldine asked.

"I want to explore!" Nyx said. "I wanna exploreeeee!"

And then she darted into the gardens, causing a small commotion among other wandering Players who were simply enjoying the view or having a picnic.

"Nyx! Come back here!" Lucifer cried.

"Hey, girl! I'm so sorry about her!" Maria said.

"It's fine. Children are rare around here… Let them enjoy this place if you can. It might be an experience they will never forget. Very well, as you've heard, this world requires no tasks, and you are free to come and go. Thank you for listening and have a pleasant journey."
