Chapter 93: Chapter 93

Quinn found it rather odd that the receptionist at their company didn’t recognize her. Wasn’t this just asking a pointless question?

However, seeing the receptionist’s disdainful and dismissive expression aimed at her, she instantly understood.

So, this is meant to be a snub, huh? Quinn couldn’t help but curl her lips; how unwelcome she must be!

She handed over the contract and meeting invitation, politely saying, "Hello, I’m Savannah Lowell, I’m here to see Mr. Sinclair."

The receptionist was surprised that Quinn didn’t give her a hard time, especially since Quinn produced a cooperation document for her to see. If she continued to block her, it might have been difficult to explain if things escalated.

Isn’t it said that Savannah Lowell is arrogant and domineering? Why does this woman seem somewhat different?

The receptionist lowered her eyelids and half-heartedly pointed Quinn in a direction before pretending to be very busy.

The elevator arrived at the floor where the meeting room was located.

Having not been here for a while, she couldn’t remember the exact location of the meeting room, so she turned randomly intending to ask another employee.

"Um... could you tell me which way to the meeting room?" Seeing an employee wearing glasses fetching water, Quinn hurriedly stepped forward to ask.

However, the person seemed not to have heard her question, glanced at her, and walked away directly.

What was going on? Surely she didn’t say anything wrong, was her voice too quiet?

"Hello, could you tell me which way to the meeting room?" Quinn raised her voice, asking a female employee working on documents.

Perhaps her voice was a bit loud, attracting quite a few people’s attention.

"Sorry, I’m busy," the female employee replied impatiently.

Faced with another setback, Quinn sighed helplessly. This was Elias Sinclair’s company; she couldn’t afford to lose her temper here.

Looking around, she noticed quite a few people sneaking glances her way, most of which were filled with contempt, disdain, and disregard.

She hadn’t done anything yet and everyone disliked her? No, probably because Savannah Lowell’s actions before were too annoying.

Recalling the things Savannah Lowell said and her pretentious demeanor at Elias Sinclair’s company, even Quinn felt disgusted, almost unable to bear looking. Since that was the case, it was best not to linger, she thought it better to find a place herself.

"Excuse me, sorry for disturbing you," Quinn said politely, then turned to find the meeting room on her own.

Others seeing her attitude thought she either took the wrong medication or was deliberately putting on a show for Elias Sinclair.

Feeling other people’s occasional glances on her, Quinn only responded with a smile, without any further expression.

Meanwhile, Elias Sinclair was at the head of the meeting room table, fingers softly tapping the surface.

He glanced at the time, his expression slightly stern.

Didn’t he send a driver to get her? Why is she still late? Was this woman intending to be late once again?

Quinn practically walked around the entire floor, unable to help but complain in her heart about the floor’s design; the meeting room was shockingly tucked away in a corner, seriously?

Organizing her collar in front of the meeting room door, she took a deep breath and knocked, gently pushing the door open to enter.

"Hello everyone, I’m Savannah Lowell," Quinn stood at the door and nodded to the crowd, then saw Elias Sinclair sitting at the head of the table.

"Hello, Miss Lowell, I’m Kevin, the person in charge of this advertisement shoot," a man in a blue shirt, looking very polite and courteous, introduced himself to Quinn.

"Miss Lowell please sit here. If you have any questions in the future, feel free to communicate with me," Kevin signaled Quinn to sit on Elias Sinclair’s right side.

Quinn looked at Elias Sinclair’s expressionless face and still cold, narrow eyes, she curled her lips as a greeting to him.

He’s the boss, and she’s the collaborator; sitting next to him is normal, and not directly beside him either, there’s some distance, it’s all fine!

Quinn comforted herself; in front of so many people, she couldn’t very well ask to change seats; after all, everyone was already seated, only she hadn’t sat down yet.

She lightly walked over to sit in the chair and quietly shifted her body toward the side, then glanced around at the others.

Inwardly, she couldn’t help but mumble, "It’s just a meeting, no need for such a big event." Read full story at ɴovelfire.net

Scanning around again, she noticed Elias Sinclair’s assistant wasn’t there, whatever their name was... oh right, why wasn’t Joyce Kramer here?

Noticing that Quinn seemed to be searching for someone, Elias asked aloud, "Is everyone here?"

"Everyone is present, Mr. Sinclair."

"Start," Elias glanced sideways at Quinn, then tossed out the word.

Looking at Quinn’s well-dressed and attractive appearance today, paired with a clean long ponytail, nude lipstick, and an off-white blouse, she appeared both efficient and exceedingly gentle. Even he hadn’t realized he was showing a hint of appreciation in his gaze.

This woman, her performance seems pretty good.

Quinn had initially thought it was just a simple advertisement shoot, as long as she didn’t make any mistakes as per the requirements, she’d be fine.

But when the meeting content delved deeper, Quinn was truly startled.

A photography studio invested with five million, plus the wholehearted collaboration of internationally renowned photographer Ethan Davis.

Even the sponsorship of various international brand clothing and cosmetics reached over a million in value.

This indeed was beyond Quinn’s expectations. Did Elias Sinclair wield such significant influence?

Quinn was self-aware; she knew these brands weren’t sponsoring her willingly, but rather The Sinclair Group.

The Sinclair Group is, after all, a Fortune 500 company, and a leading enterprise at the forefront in the country, involved in finance, logistics, real estate, tourism, IT, jewelry, fashion, among many other fields.

The product Quinn would be endorsing this time was a set of high-end limited edition jewelry, the main design concept being serene and natural, leisurely and joyful, youthful and energetic.

The aim was to highlight the unique youthful charm specific to girls, and Quinn, being young with looks and a figure that didn’t lose to other celebrities of the same age, seemed perfect for the part.

"Send back the sponsored clothing and cosmetics, use what we have under our own name," Elias casually lifted his chin, fingers lightly rubbing his jaw.

Seeing the bewildered expression on the woman beside him, he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

Even if The Lowell wasn’t on par with The Sinclair, it’s still a famous grand entrepreneurial family. Quinn, even if not involved in the company affairs, as a successor must have seen many grand occasions; even if pretending, she shouldn’t be acting .

"Does Miss Lowell find anything unsatisfactory?" Elias looked at her, slowly asking.

He did this on purpose; he wanted to see if this woman was pretending or not.
