Chapter 252: Chapter 252

Dylan was silent for quite a while, his eyes slightly furrowed as he looked at Quinn, his expression somewhat complicated.

Quinn felt a bit uneasy under his strange gaze, wondering if there was something wrong with her makeup.

"What’s wrong? Is there something off with my look?" She blinked in confusion and asked.

With a slight purse of his lips, Dylan slowly asked, "Do you remember what happened after we left Memories last night?"

Quinn was taken aback by his question, pondering for a long time without understanding why Dylan would ask her that.

She raised her hand to pinch her brow, but couldn’t recall what exactly happened last night.

Could it be that she accidentally let something slip because she drank too much?

Swallowing nervously, Quinn tentatively said, "What happened? Did I drink too much and act foolishly...?"

"No, it’s just that you and..." Dylan sat up straight, his expression becoming serious as he looked at Quinn.

Just as he hesitated to ask about Quinn and Elias living together, a sharp, sarcastic female voice interrupted.

"Those who get in through connections are different, huh? They can come to the set and film whenever they want." Ariana Lynch and a few of her usual sycophantic followers walked toward Quinn, speaking mockingly.

"Yeah, why don’t I know a male lead like Dylan? I’d love to play the second female lead without going through auditions." A short-haired follower chimed in.

As soon as the words were out, Dylan stood up from his chair, his eyes sharply focused on those people.

"You don’t know because you lack the skill. Instead of wasting time being envious of others, why not learn how to act better?"

Dylan’s expression was serious, a cold, indifferent look replacing his usual gentle demeanor.

The follower had never seen Dylan so distant before and couldn’t help but shrink back behind Ariana, not daring to speak further.

"Dylan?" Ariana looked at Dylan in surprise, her expression seemingly innocent and charming.

Yet when her gaze swept over Quinn, a cold gleam instantly flashed in her eyes.

"It’s about time to start filming, let’s go run through our lines first." Dylan cast a brief glance at Ariana, then took Quinn’s hand and headed toward the studio.

Watching the two leave, Ariana’s face turned increasingly sour.

What kind of damn spell did this vixen cast on these men!

Why are they all protecting her!

A strong wave of anger and resentment welled up in Ariana’s heart, and she wished she could swallow Quinn whole.

To ensure better shooting efficiency and progress, the crew had prepared two studios to simultaneously film different scenes.

While Quinn was in Studio One filming other parts, Dylan and Ariana were shooting the main storyline.

Once the two sequences were completed, the actors would switch and continue filming.

During the break, those who fawned over Ariana and those who liked Quinn clearly formed two camps.

Sitting far apart on either side of the lounge, both sides occasionally cast glances over at one another, only to snicker disdainfully.

Quinn was sitting in a corner listening to music, relaxing, when the music suddenly stopped, and her phone started vibrating.

"Hello, brother." Seeing the caller’s name, Quinn immediately wore a gentle smile and paced outside.

"Savannah, send me the set’s location, and I’ll come visit you later!" The male voice on the other end was clear and leisurely, with a mysterious power that seemed to ease the heart.

Even though her brother wasn’t standing right in front of her, Quinn nodded vigorously, her round eyes brightening considerably.

"And don’t come empty-handed; I want some delicious food!" After a few chuckles, Quinn hung up the phone and sent the set’s address to Cameron Grant’s phone.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the lounge...

"Go outside and buy bottled water; I can’t stand drinking that big jug water." Ariana leaned on the sofa and casually pointed at a small extra beside her.

"Oh, okay." The extra was momentarily stunned, then nodded.

Just as she turned to leave, she was called back by Ariana.

"Hey, you there, what’s your name?"

A bit impatient, Ariana waved her hand dismissively, commanding, "Buy a few more bottles back, enough for a few days."

"Remember to get some soda water, the Lilac Spring brand, and hurry back, I’m dying of thirst."

Tiffany bit her lip but nodded and turned to go buy the water.

She visited four or five supermarkets before finding the type of water Ariana wanted.

People with money sure drink different kinds of water, with not only exquisite packaging but also shockingly high prices.

Just a single bottle cost 200 yuan! ɪꜰ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ʀᴇᴀᴅ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs, ᴘʟᴇᴀsᴇ ᴠɪsɪᴛ N0v3l.Fiɾe.net

Since Ariana didn’t specify how much to buy, Tiffany bought a whole case of Lilac Spring bottled water.

Twenty bottles in total.

No matter how unknown she might be, Tiffany had been pampered since childhood, never used as a servant .

The journey back to the set was long, and Tiffany already found it difficult to carry after walking just a bit.

Clenching her teeth, she hauled the water back to the set, her heart full of complaints about Ariana.

"Such a pain! We were all born from our parents; why is she so troublesome?" With a bang, she dropped the box, and the beautifully packaged expensive bottled water rolled across the floor.

At that moment, footsteps sounded behind her, causing Tiffany’s heart to tighten, thinking it might be Ariana or her assistant who saw her throw the water on the ground.

Turning around with a panicked expression, Tiffany froze in place.

Standing before her was a man as handsome as an angel.

With gentle peach blossom eyes radiating a beguiling charm, his high, elegant nose perfectly outlined the man’s profile, and his cherry blossom-like lips curved into a slight smile that seemed to melt the heart like spring water.

"How could a girl carry so much water by herself!" Cameron stood before Tiffany, seemingly inquiring as he squatted down to help her put the scattered bottled water back into the box.

"Th-thank you." Tiffany’s heart was pounding so hard it felt like it would jump out, her face blooming red as she raised a hand to take the box from the man’s grasp.

"This isn’t something a girl should carry." Cameron slightly moved aside, speaking to Tiffany with great politeness.
