Chapter 42: Chapter 42
—Ball Destroyer: 5→10% increased damage when attacking the testicles of an enemy.
Rael sighed, ignoring that for now, as he focused on the wolf, which had no way of escaping and whose balls were destroyed.
Another round of shards shot out, perfectly piercing its normal-sized eyes.
-250,685! Critical Hit! (5x Fractured Prism)
Now, he did feel a little hungry, therefore, he began blasting the wolf with only a couple of cheeky fireballs.
[MP -53,600 89,700/271,600 (x67 Fireball)]
The massive fireballs came flying out of his hand one by one, and each of them impacted the wolf's skin, until eventually, the first round of damage was finished.
-599,421! Critical Hit! (58x Fireball)
-44,998! (x9 Fireball)
Despite the damage seeming low, the wolf's skin was literally melted, as the shards inside its eyes began glowing brighter.
Almost as if they absorbed the energy from the fireballs.
Soon, the biggest explosion Rael had seen by far happened, making him skid backward.
[HP -5,664! 104,236/109,900]
[HP -500! 103,736/109,900]
Bruh. Rael grumbled as he began rolling on the ground.
No point buying an extinguisher when the only thing on fire were his clothes.
He stood up, dusted himself off, and prepared to fight the wolf.
But as the dust faded, only then did he glance to the side, where a massive chunk of damage was displayed.
-2,231,086! Instant Kill! (5x Fractured Prism/Fireball)
—Storm Wolf (Vice-General Class Elite) [Level 60] Killed! Experience: +102,056>
<+51,028 Trell Acquired>
<+1600 Trell Bonus>
That was much easier than I thought... Rael thought as he stretched his back and turned toward his experience bar.
Rael took a deep breath as he opened the conversion interface.
His trembling fingers moved toward "Yes," and he immediately pressed it.
Level: 49 → 50
For a moment, nothing happened, and Rael honestly thought nothing would.
But soon...
"Temporarily forfeit? I won't lose out on any first-time bullshit, will I?" Rael asked, and just as he thought, the system definitely heard him.
He nodded in confirmation and decided to delay it.
There was the envoy he had to deal with, and he wasn't sure how long this quest would take.
"I'll postpone it. Give me my rewards," Rael said out loud, and after a few seconds, several columns of system messages appeared, each detailing the new changes.
To his surprise, they were even better than he thought.
Huh?
