Walter P.O.V

I opened my eyes and found myself in my room, alone. I managed to shift in a sitting position and everything came in front of my eyes in a second.

Marie cheated and left.

She left! Alone! Damn it!

I jumped out of the bed and ran towards the meeting room. The whole castle was giving strangely empty vibes. I opened the door and the empty room stared back at me. The strange and dangerous vibes became more strong as different scenarios appeared in my mind about Marie being in trouble and Annabella doing something wrong with my friends and townspeople, in all worst ways.

I was about to move out when something caught my attention. It was a paper note pasted on the table.

I read it and it says,

Walter! Marie has left to find Annabella's weakness alone and we have no choice but to wait and believe her. And....trust me, I believe her. She will come back and save us. I know, she can do this. After all, she is our to be Queen.

Annabella attacked us and she is killing our innocent people. We are going to save them until Marie comes back. I don't know if we can see each other again or not but you're a nice fellow.

One more thing, when you get conscious, don't come behind us instead, try to find Princess Marie. And bring her to town as soon as possible. She is our only hope and you know that!

Reading this, I ran towards the town. I didn't need to find Marie because that was her choice to go alone. Yes, I was mad at her. But deep down in my heart, I was worried to death and there was a voice saying she'll be fine.

'She has to be.'

When I reached the midtown, my eyes bulged out of their sockets and I forgot how to breathe. Almost all the houses were burning in fire and many people were lying injured unconscious or dead, I couldn't make it out.

A crying voice reached my ears, I followed the voice and it was coming from inside a house which was burning in fire. Using my powers Aquakinesis, I extinguished the fire and stepped inside. My nostrils filled with sick burn smelled as I began to found the source of the crying voice.

"Hello! Is somebody here?" I asked loudly covering my nose to avoid the irritating smell.

"No...please...don't hurt me." A low whisper reached my ears and I marched towards it.

It was a small house with two floors. Because of fire, everything was black and smoke was making it difficult to see anything and in addition to the worst smell.

I heard a sob very near. With again a low-light whispered saying, "Don't....hurt me. Please....."

It was a child's voice. I took more steps towards it.

"Hey! Come out. I won't hurt you. I am Walter the Guardian of this town." I said as I saw a little shadow sitting beside a window, hiding behind a messed couch.

"Do you live in the castle?" That child asked. I smiled.

"Yes, now come out," I said and thankfully she came out. Her face was slightly covered in black smoke and she had some bruises on her forehead, chin, and arm. Her cheeks were stained in tears but still, she looked so cute.

"What's your name?" I asked her once she was in front of me. I picked her up in my arms and led my way outside.

"Ann." She said, wrapping her little arms around my neck.

"Ann, where are your parents?" I asked once we were out of the house.

"My child! Ann!" A woman ran towards me crying loudly. She took her from me and after thanking me she left.

"Where are the people?" I asked when I saw the guardian army taking the rest of the people away.

One of them came towards me, bowed his head, and said, "Guardian Walter, we are taking them at a save place on Guardian Peter order."

"And where is he?" I asked.

"On the backside of town, they are trying to stop Annabella." He informed.

Suddenly, the floor started to tremble. First slowly but then it became stronger and stronger. Soon, it came out like an earthquake. The crystal world never had any earthquake before.

What was happening?

Immediately I teleported towards the backside of the town. The first thing I saw was Annabella's face flashed in fear. But her next move was more terrible as she shoved her power on another Annabella or maybe Isabella. They both were looking the same. But I knew who was Isabella because of her green eyes.

I stomped towards her to prevent her from hurting Isabella, I used my aquakinesis combat move.

Annabella stumbled on her feet before attacking back at me. She threw a fire electrical bond but it never reached me. Because a firewall was protecting me. Like a fire to a firefighter.

Peter glared at me before saying, "I take my words back. You're not a nice fellow. Why the hell you won't listen to my order? I told you to not come behind us but you never listen to me..."

Was he literally scolding me? Now?

"Are you literally scolding him? Right now? Seriously!" It was Isabella who voiced out my thoughts.

He looked at Isabella and before he could say something we all ended up on the floor with a loud bang. Damn! My head hit the ground very badly.

"Little children and their pep talk. Who lied to you that you can beat me?" Anabella's annoying voice reached my eardrums as I managed to clear my blurred vision and stood up. Peter and Isabella followed my move.

"Did my dear sister told you some tales?" She smirked.

I rolled my eyes. We need that attitude before dying, right?

I angled my head causally to my left and a pang of sharp pain aroused in my heart.

"Bell! Watch out!" I yelled. A huge bat hit her hard on the floor. She winced in pain as blood started to come out of her stomach.

"She is going to die, just like you." Annabella sang these lines in a calming manner and my blood boiled.

"You!" I yelled, losing control of myself, and jumped on Annabella but she threw me away using her skills.

"You can't beat me, idiot!" She said before throwing electric shocks at me making me touched the ground with a loud thud. Pain shoot through my whole body as for a moment my body felt numb.

Peter manipulates both hands and threw fireballs shower at her but she blocked it flawlessly and threw back at us. But Isabella stopped it by blocking her way.

"Don't do this!" Isabella yelled before enchanting a spell under her breath. A big red sword appeared in her hand. Annabella smirked before doing the same, a big greyish sword appeared in her hand too.

"I'll handle her. Go and help others!" Isabella ordered us. I passed Peter a look before Peter nodded.

"Be careful!" I said and about to ran towards Bell when Annabella blocked my way but Isabella appeared in front of me, using her speed power, and stopped Annabella by barraging her with the sword.

They both started to fight using swords and it looked difficult that Isabella will survive more than 10 minutes. I passed worried look at Peter when he said, "Don't worry. They both are twins, I'm sure Isabella can handle her. They have the same powers. Let's go and help others."

"Let's go!" I said and ran towards Bell. She was unconscious and blood was continuously soaring from her stomach. I bent beside her and hold her face in my hands. My heart stopped beating.

"Bell, open your eyes, please..." I whispered as a lone tear escaped my eye. I shook her face, tried to stop her blood but all useless.

"Why she is not opening her eyes? Why her Neogenesis is not working?" I yelled at no one in particular.

"Let's go, we have to save others." Peter just stared blankly at her and said. I felt like a hard rock hit my heart. Everything around me stopped like there was no voice but just a sweet voice laughed in my mind and a scene started to trail in my mind.

"You're not joking, right?" She giggled, looking at my serious face.

"Bell!" I called her when she started to walk in the flowers.

We were in the middle of the flower garden in the castle. Every flower in this garden was planted by her. She loved animals and colorful flowers and I loved the way when she smiled looking at these flowers. And sometimes jealous because she passed her smile at them.

"Ok, I'm listening. Say it again!" She said with amusement.

"I said Bell, I love you! Will you marry me?" I again repeated those words.

"I can't hear you clearly. Say it again!" she pouted with innocents eyes. I nodded my head before chasing her like a tiger.

"Hey!" She screamed before running away, laughing all the way. I caught her and we both end up on the grass, laughing madly.

Everything vanished in a second, there she was lying unconscious and in pain. I tapped her face and whispered again, "You haven't answered me yet. That's why you can't go like this."

"Walter! We don't have time." Peter said and all the voices around me started to reach my eardrums again. The voice of crying, groaning, yelling, bombing, the voices of the sword when they came in contact with each other.

I stood up with eyes bloodshot. I was angry and I won't let Annabella hurt my beloved ones more. I looked at Peter, "Go and help others." I said with a clenched fist and gritted teeth.

"And you?" He asked.

"Just. Go!" I roared.

He switched his eyes between me and Bell, then nodded and left. I enchanted a spell under my breath when an ice sword appeared in my hand. I won't let Annabella win this time!

I had never used my sword before because using it meant, telling everyone who I am! Telling them that I was the first child of Queen Teresa, the first heir of guardian town. Because only royal heirs have swords, but now, I didn't care!

What will happen next, I don't care anymore!

I moved my right hand backward and straighten it in a jerk, I threw ice arrows at her to grab her attention. That caught her off guard as she was busy beating her own sister. She moved towards me at the speed of light and looked at the sword in my left hand. While Isabella smacked on the ground wincing in pain.

"Game over!" I snapped as I straighten in a balanced stance and moved the sword over my right shoulder, ready to attack.

"Who are you?" She asked, gazing at me with calculative eyes.

"Walter! The guardian of the crystal world." I said and spun around to aimed my sword on her head but she blocked me using her sword.

Now, we were face to face, an inch away from snatching each other eyes but the swords were a barrier between us.

"Son of the great Queen Teresa!" I said with gritted teeth. She punched right on my nose and I stumbled back, groaning in pain but I caught balance on time and again bumped on her but she was stronger. As she punched my nose again and a sharp pain aroused followed by some liquor. When she started to kick my stomach, face, and blindly everywhere continuously, and I ended up on the floor with blurred vision and too much pain in every part of my body.

I wasn't that weak but why I was feeling so powerless? What was happening? What was wrong with my powers? Was that possible she was drenching our powers? Is that why Bell's neogenesis wasn't working?

I tighten my grip on the sword, after trying for the tenth time, I managed to dig the edged of the sword in the ground, and wincing in pain, I stood up and looked at her.

After attempting for which felt like the hundredth time, I managed to clear my vision. My head and almost every part of the body were hurting and feeling like going numb.

She was already looking at me with arms cross in front of her chest and a stupid smirk plastered on her face. She walked towards me slowly and laughed wickedly before saying, "Don't my sister told you that I loved to kill my enemies with my bare hands without using my unbeatable powers."

I wanted to pluck that stupid head off her body but my body felt too weak to even move or say something so all I could do was just a glare. My condition made her laugh.

"Is that so?" Annabella's eyes were almost bulged out of their sockets after hearing these words. I smiled.

"You forget to tell her that you're my big brother too. And yeah brother of to be Queen of the crystal world." A voice that felt like a melody to my ears said and I snapped my head in her direction smiling widely.
