Amber's POV

'Does it ever happen with you that just with a single look from your special one makes you feel weak, and vulnerable at the same time?'

Well, that happened to me when Alex's eyes found mine. I was standing against the pole for the last half an hour but not once did I cry at my state. That's because I didn't want to beg and plead in front of those bastards, knowing that they would enjoy my misery.

But just his mere presence and his look made my knees go weak.

"Bring that girl to her purchaser.", The auctioneer said, pointing toward me. I closed my eyes in disgust. I didn't feel like this when Alex took with him from Knight's house.

"Don't.", I heard Alex speaking. "Don't touch her.", I could feel his words laced with anger. I didn't know what happened next. Because I didn't hear anything from him after that. All I could feel was his steps toward me. I didn't dare to open my eyes until I felt a spark in my whole body just by his touch near my wrist.

He opened the handcuff before speaking. "Look at me, Amber!"

I shook my head, trying to control my tears which I knew, would start flowing out of my eyes the moment my eyes would meet with his.

"Please...please take me with you, please sir!", A girl behind me begged.

"Liam?"

"Got it, Boss."

I was thankful that because of that conversation he forgot what he had asked me to do. I felt his blazer over my naked body and soon I was lifted in his arms. I snuggled into his chest, still closing my eyes.

I rubbed my hand against his arms, immediately he stopped walking. I could feel his eyes on me.

"What's happening with you?"

"_____"

"Amber?", When he didn't receive any answer from me. He shouted. "Hey, you?"

"Me, Mr. Stone?", I recognize his tone, the auctioneer asked and then I heard his voice near us. "Yes, Mr. Stone."

"Did you do something with her?"

"No, I didn't do anything with her but before bringing these girls, the seller generally drugged them so that they can...umm you know!", He responded.

Alex's grip around me tightened and he started walking again.

"Didn't you hear me at that time? I had asked you to look at me.", He said in a cold tone, making my eyes wide open. I didn't want to make him angrier than he was already. A part of me was glad that he was not looking at me while the other part of me was begging his attention. I rubbed my palms against his arms again but this time he didn't respond to me. Instead, he kept walking away, taking me across the hall. He looked so serious, and his eyes were ice-cold. My eyes landed on Nicolaus Stone and found him glaring at me. I quickly averted my eyes looking around. Even Liam was carrying a girl in his arm.

'What will Alex do with that girl?', I thought. At the same time, I was proud of my mate for saving the life of an innocent girl from getting destroyed.

Everyone let us pass as soon as they see Alex. Some even bow to him or show a scared look before running off, but he didn't care.

"Are you angry?", I wanted to slam my head in the wall for asking the most obvious question.

"Yes!"

His tone made it clear that he wasn't in the mood to talk with anyone. I bit my lips and didn't dare to say anything else. I hid my face inside his chest again, feeling safe again, trying to forget the fact that I was almost sold to someone else. I felt his shoulders relaxing a little from my touch. He didn't show any expression at that moment.

"Liam, we need the antidote of the drugs."

"I have already asked Dr. Marshall to reach your house as soon as possible."

"Hmm"

One of Alex’s men opened the door of the car for us. Alex carried me inside and wouldn’t let me go even as we were sitting. I quickly shoved away Alex’s blazer away from my body, feeling hot. Though the temperature inside the car was at its lowest, the burning sensation inside was body was not getting relief at all.

“Aleeexx”, I whimpered.

“I can’t do anything to ease your pain, right now.”, He whispered, trying to I held his hand and slowly started rubbing it against my breast but he quickly pulled his hand away.

"You're not in your sense, Amber. And I'm not going to take advantage of this situation.", He warned.

"Please...", I begged like a whore.

"I will help you in this situation but I'm not going to touch you.", He said. I looked at him in confusion but then nodded. At that time, any help from him would be helpful. "Remove your panty.", At first, I felt a little shy about his words but then I was going to do that sooner or later because of the uncontrollable burning sensation inside my body.

"You need to take a cold shower then because Doctor will still take some time to reach here.", He muttered before I could have responded to it. He picked me in his arms and hopped out of the car, taking me toward our room.

He kicked the door of our room by his leg after entering inside and directly went into the washroom, making me stand under the shower. He turned the knob of the shower and then left me alone over there. He walked toward the tub to prepare for my bathe.

I couldn't help but wonder what good things I would have done in my previous life to have him as my mate?

Would he continue to love me after finding what had happened on our wedding night?

"Why are you staring at me like that?"

"Umm.N..Nothing."

"Then strip, Amber."

Though he had said that he wouldn't do anything but his eyes were telling me another story. His hungry eyes on me made every bone in my body shiver. "Strip for me, Amber. I need to see you naked before me, again.", He ordered. His order would have angered me in another situation but instead, it only doubled the hunger deep within me. I nodded my head and the next thing I knew that I was standing naked in front of him. He stood from the edge of the bathtub to walk toward me but his steps halted when we heard someone else shoes sound in our room.

"Who's that?", Alex asked angrily, cursing in his mind for not locking the door.

"It's me, Liam. The doctor's here."

"Get the other girl checked first.", He answered in a cold tone before turning his gaze toward me. “Don’t forget to lock the door and make sure no one walks in.”, He added.

The crystal drops of water were still splashing down my skin, flowing on the round curves of my figures, shinning in the light. Under his hungry gaze, the chilled water seemed to permeate my skin, flowing over my body. I was secretly wishing him not to follow his words but all my thoughts were crushed when I saw him reaching for a bottle of shampoo. He looked down at my hair and breast, my waist and legs. He took a breath and coughed gently. Then he put back the shampoo and swopped it with bath cream.

The bubbles formed in his hand, they were a transparent white and emitted a fragrance of jasmine. It was silky and smooth when applied to my body, then his hands moved along my body. I was sure that the foam in his hands had been washed away, but he was still focused on caressing me.

"Perfection", he said in a low tone. "I want to suck them, Amber. I want to put those nipples in my mouth and suck on it so much but you needed to have the antidote of the drugs first.", He added and took me out of the bathroom.

I didn't want to wear anything but then I didn't want the doctor to see me naked as well, so I reluctantly took a night dress to wear. After a while, Alex called the doctor in our room. It seemed like the doctor was already aware of the situation so without asking anything, he gave me the antidote before leaving our room. Alex forcefully made me eat dinner and sat beside me until I fell asleep.

My eyes were wide open after hearing a loud noise, coming from the living room. I felt the weak presence of my wolf but still, I couldn't contact her.

"Xander! Control your anger!", Again my mind diverted toward the place from where this voice was coming from.

I stood up on my feet and started following the voice. Generally, I was not the kind of person who gives much attention to someone else business but at this moment, I heard Alex's name so I needed to check whether everything was alright or not!

"Have you lost your mind? He will die.", Nicolaus screamed loudly.

By that time, I was out of the room and was shocked to see Alex was fighting with his father and he had a gun in his hand, not to forget, Marcus was lying on the floor, fully drenched in his own blood.
