Rex was laughing looking at Aaron's condition and the way Aana was beating him like a sack of potatoes.

"Alice was not with her. Still, she can show stars to anyone at day time" Rex mindlink Aaron while laughing.

"Stop laughing and heal me moron" Aaron growled loudly. Aana raised her eyebrow upon hearing him.

"Rex healed him. If you don't want me to teach you a lesson just like I did with Aaron." Aana warned him and cursed herself mentally for heating him after seeing him in pain but then she shoved that topic from mine as being a werewolf, he can be healed easily. Rex hissed hearing her warning. If somewhere else would be in Aana's place then he might have gotten offended but it was his fierce Pearl. He was kind of impressed at the way she threatened him but at the same point he was afraid, knowing she could do what she said and he wouldn't be able to do anything to protect himself in front of her. Rex immediately healed Aaron.

"Don't tell me you also get scared of her temper" Aaron asked his wolf who healed him upon hearing Aana's threat.

"Didn't you hear? She doesn't give fake threats. She can't hurt me physically but emotionally she can. You don't know this woman had many ideas of revenge." Aaron rolled his eyes upon hearing him and looked at Aana who was lost in her thoughts. He stood up and went near her.

"Pearl" she looked at him with teary eyes.

"Leave me alone, Aaron. I will manage myself" she mumbled and was about to cross him when he held her hand.

"I know you can," he muttered and came in front of her.

"I know you don't need me. You're enough for yourself but I want to be with you, Pearl. I want to stand by your side"

"That's why you asked Christian to drop me at home instead of staying with me when I need you the most" Tears rolled from her eyes remembering that officer assault.

"I'm sorry... To be honest, I was mad at you that's why I asked Christian to take you away as I didn't want to say something which will hurt you" Aaron mumbled, bowing his head.

"As if you didn't hurt me by sending me away. Well, it's good you did that... At least, I came to know that I can't trust you" She screeched and turned her face in another direction.

"Did I affect you so much that my single gesture hurt you?" he teased her, looking at his little volcano whose face turned into a light red shade because of anger.

"No boss…You're wrong… My reactions are all because of my hormones" She groaned and pushed him away. Aaron tightened his lips to control his smile after hearing her. He loved the way she was complaining to him freely. Aaron hold her chin and made her look into his eyes.

"I will never repeat this mistake. Please forgive me" he muttered. Aana nodded his head negatively.

"No, I will not forgive you... Because of you, I landed in this situation today"

"Because of me?" He asked, pointing towards him. Aana nodded her head. He looked at her dumb-headed.

"I was leaving my life anyhow. I used to bear Elsa's behaviour and ignore every wrong thing around me because I was afraid of consequences but after you entered my life, it turned upside down. I teach Elsa a good lesson. I bit the shit of that officer. Not only that, I even argued with my brother regarding Elsa. This Aana died 3 years ago but after your arrival, I again started fighting with everyone because I know, no matter what I do and how much mess I create, you will handle everything. You will handle the situation and me. You will support me despite me being wrong. Because I trust you, dumbo that no matter what you will never let anyone harm me." She frowned and started crying while holding his shirt.

Aaron opened his mouth to say something but no word came out of his mouth. He was startled after hearing her. A smile came on his lips realising the amount of trust she had in him.

"Why are you laughing?" she frowned and hit on his chest then hugged him while crying. He circled his hands around her waist, embracing her.

"She trusts us so much, Rex... I wish, we never fail to maintain her trust in us" Aaron mindlink Rex

"We will never break her trust. By the way, congrats, we take a step ahead in winning her heart."

"You're right. Trust is the first step of any relationship and she trusts us." Aaron replied to Rex and broke the hug. That's when something struck his mind. He recalled her words and put 2×2, realising why she lied to him about going to her parent's house.

"You lied to me about going to your parent's house because you wanted to hide that you were on heat from me." He muttered. Aana nodded her head.

"And you hide that because you know if I and Rex came to know about your condition then I would have to take the injection which would have been very painful for me and Rex." He concluded the reason why Aana was hiding everything from me.

"Pearl" He again pulled her into a hug and kissed her hair.

"It's not fair, Pearl. You bear all your pain alone and also lied to me. I hate lies." He muttered. He caressed her hair lovingly while Aana didn't utter a word but inhaled his scent which was calming the storm inside her.

"Promise me, you will never lie to me again"

"I will" She broke the hug to look into his eyes.

"I will lie to you if it's better for you. In fact, I can do anything to save you from any kind of pain" Aaron could feel how true she is about her words. He tightened her lips, not able to find words. Maybe Aana didn't realise how easily she expressed her love without telling him how much she loves him but he felt it.

"She is indeed a Pearl," He thought, looking at her lovingly.

"We are lucky that she is our mate" Rex muttered to Aaron, admiring the beauty of the woman standing in front of him. Aaron wiped Aana's tears from the corner of her eyes and kissed her forehead. That's when another tear rolled from her eyes, remembering officer assaults.

"I didn't run away, Aaron" She sobbed. Aaron scrunched his eyebrow upon hearing her. Aana started telling him everything that happened in the Officer's car and in the washroom. Aaron tightened his fist to control his anger in front of Aana.

"Don't worry, now he will think a thousand times before touching a woman. Moreover, he won't be able to do anything even if want to." Aaron muttered and wiped her tears.

"I didn't get it," she muttered.

"I cut his Penis."

"Aaron" she looked at him shockingly.

"What? He was having a hard time controlling his hormones. so I solved his problem" He shrugged his shoulders.

"You did the right thing," Aana muttered. He looked at widening his eyes, not expecting that answer.

"What? He deserves that" she muttered, mimicking his tone. He rolled his eyes while she chuckled seeing his reaction.

"So now what?" He asked. Aana nibbled her lips and looked around, finding not a single person on the street. Before she told him that she will manage but now the thought of staying alone in the dark night was scaring her. She looked back at Aaron who was waiting for her response.

"Can't he offer me again to come with him?" she thought and cursed herself mentally for refusing his offer in the first place.

"I see... You wanted to come with me but your ego is coming in between." Aaron muttered. Aana nodded his head and pouted, trying to be cute.

"Fuck" he curse looking at her lips. She distanced herself from him seeing his reaction. Aaron turned his face in another direction and took a deep breath to control his desire to kiss her plump lips senselessly until she got out of breath.
