One week passed but Aaron was not ready to go with my plan. With every passing day, I'm going insane, thinking about Alexander's next move. I'm sure he is sitting quietly waiting for a moment to attack me. I have tried to convince Aaron in every way but he was not ready to go with my plan and I know there is no way other than I suggested to capture Alexander.

"I decided Alice, we are going to work on our plan" I said with determination to end Alexander's chapter today.

"What about our mate?" Alice questioned me. I didn't reply to her and went to Aaron's office where he was working on his laptop regarding his company in the human world.

"I will execute my plan."

"We have already discussed this matter a thousand times, Pearl and my answer is still the same. Rex And I will never get ready to put your life in danger."

"I'm not asking you, Aaron but telling you that I'm going to execute my plan. Now it's up to you whether to support us or not" I said and turned to leave his office, not giving him a chance to speak. Before I could take a step out of his office Aaron held my hand and turned me towards him.

"Have you lost your mind, Aana?" he growled, making me flinch. He took a deep breath to calm himself.

"Leave my hand," I said, struggling to get out of his grip.

"Stop using Alice's power" He snarled. I ignored him and started trying my best to get out of his grip.

"Aah" I whimpered when he used Rex's power to hold my hand and a tear rolled from my eyes because of pain. I felt like my bones would crack up if he tightened his grip even a little more.

"Pearl" He immediately loosened his grip seeing my tears. I removed his hand from my wrist which had a blue mark because of his holding.

"Fuck" he cursed and held my hand in his hand.

"I'm sorry, Pearl" He apologised and made me sit on the couch then bring the medicine to apply on my wrist. I flinched when it burned because of the cream he applied.

"It's burning, Aaron" I whimper. He looked at me with guilt-filled eyes and then blew over my hand.

"I'm sorry, Pearl. I was just trying to stop you" He sucked my tears lovingly. I closed my eyes feeling the closeness.

"Is it still hurting?" He asked after a while.

"No. Alice healed me" I replied and opened my eyes. I can feel he is guilty of hurting me unintentionally.

"I'm fine but I don't know about the future," He scrunched his eyebrow at my reply.

"Please Aaron let's execute my plan" He sighed helplessly, knowing I was not going to leave this topic easily.

"Why you're not understanding my situation, Pearl... I can't take risks related to you. What if you get hurt in everything" He said. I took his hand in mine.

"Nothing will happen to me, Aaron. You and Rex will never let anyone harm me. I believe in you and him more than I believe in myself."

"What if I failed you?"

"You will not. Moon goddess paired me with you because she knows you will always protect me. You can never fail me, Aaron" He shook his head negatively.

"No... I can't take the risk of losing you. I can't" he repeated the same line.

"Why you're not understanding, Aaron" I growled frustratingly. "You and I both know Alexander will not leave me. He is just waiting for a chance to attack me. Now it's up to you, Aaron, either to trap him or let me get into his trap" I stood up from the couch and directly went to my room where both of my pups were sleeping and Marry was taking care of them.

The moment I entered the room, I smelled the same scent which had been bothering me for the last few weeks. I looked around in search of anyone but except my kids and Marry, there was no one.

"Does anyone come here in my absence, Marry?" I enquired.

"No Luna… I'm here only.. no one came to meet you"

"Are you sure that no one came inside?" I asked her again.

"A maid came here with your and Alpha's iron clothes" I turned my head and looked at my clothes which were kept on the couch. I picked them up to smell them and my doubt was right. It has Alexander's scent. I smelled Aaron's clothes as well but it didn't have any scent.

"What happened, Luna?" Marry asked, looking at me with concern.

"Marry.. you should take some rest. Aana and I will handle the pups" I heard Aaron's voice.

"What happened, Pearl?" he asked after Marry left the room. I look at him.

"He came here, Aaron" tears rolled from my eyes. "He intentionally sprayed his scent over my clothes to give me a signal he will come for me soon or maybe he did this so that I would smell like him" He growled upon hearing me and snatched my top from my hand to smell it.

"that asshole" He threw all my clothes out of the room angrily. The thought he came inside my room scared me to the core. If he can come here easily then he can do anything. He can even harm my babies and this thought was enough to make my soul tremble.
