I moved my body when I felt a small hand on my cheek.

"Mommy" I opened my eyes and found Emma looking at me in concern. I sat straight and looked around. I was with Aaron last time and crying in his arms

How did I end up sleeping on the bed?

"You slept in our mate's arms after crying for an hour" Alice answered to my confusion. I nod my head and look at my girl who is looking at me with a worried expression.

"I'm fine, princess," I said after picking her up in my arms. She smiled in response. I looked at Love who was sitting and playing with his toy. I tried to mindlink Aaron to know about his whereabouts but the link was closed.

"You woke up" I came to the world when Marry entered the room with a pair of my babies.

"I washed them," She said, answering my unasked question. She kept them on the table. "Do you need something?"

"No, and thank you for washing clothes," I mumbled.

"No need. I love to do their work" She replied, caressing Love's cheeks lovingly. I smiled and looked at my girl who was playing with my hair. She loves my long hair. I removed her hand from my hair and gave her my favourite toy.

"Marry"

"Yes Luna"

"Do you know where is Aaron? He didn't show up till now"

"You don't know?" She looked at me surprisingly. I rolled my eyes at her stupid question.

"If I knew then why would I have asked you"

"Alpha went in search of Alexander with warriors." My eyes widened upon hearing her. I recalled the words I said to him before sleeping.

'We have to do something, Aaron. I can't live in this fear that one day Alexander will come and harm our pups. Please find him and kill him. I can't live like a coward. Please do something. Please'

"Alpha was worried for you and he wanted you to live your life without any fear. That's why he decided to go in search of Alexander and kill him" I nod my head and then look at my pups who are playing with their toys.

"You made the right decision, Aaron. Just be safe" I thought and prayed to the moon goddess to protect him at any cost.

One month has passed since I last saw Aaron. He hasn't come home for a month, searching for Alexander. He only mindlinks me to know about me and the pups, how we are, whether we have our food on time or not, and whether we are safe and then make sure that he is doing fine.

Aaron was trying his best to find Alexander but the result was nothing. I was roaming on the balcony trying to calm my baby girl who had a fever. She was crying and calling for Aaron continuously. Seems like both of my babies are missing him as I am. I went inside and measured her temperature which had increased. Tears rolled from my eyes seeing her suffering like this because of fever. Thankfully Marry was handling Love otherwise I don't know how I would have handled both pups together.

"Aaron" I mindlinked him but he didn't respond. I wiped my tears

"Papa" Emma cried calling Aaron again.

"I'm calling him, baby… Please don't cry" I sobbed, wiping her tears. I was trying to mindlink Aaron for the past hour but he wasn't responding to me. After a while, Patrick came with a doctor who injected a syringe in my princess's hand. Her sobs were enough to make me cry. After a while, she slept with the effect of medicine.

"Pearl" Aaron mindlink me. I growled in response.

"What happened? why you're sounding pissed."

"I don't care where you are and what you are doing. I want you back in an hour" I growled and broke the mindlink before he could respond. The mother in me was ready to kick his ass. I stood up from bed and looked at Rose who was feeding Vince.

"I'm going to check on Love. Till then please take care of Emma"

"Don't worry, Luna. I'm here only, "she replied with a smile. I nodded my head and went towards the Marry room but I stopped in mid when I sensed a familiar scent around me. The scent which is enough to tremble my soul to the core. I turned and looked around but there was no one except a warrior. I was facing his back. I gulped seeing his physique which is similar to that psycho.

"Don't be afraid, Aana. if he is that monster then I will kill him today" Alice growled. I nodded my head and gathered the courage to face my fear.

"Turn around" I ordered him but he didn't.

"Pearl" I turned and found Aaron who was panting heavily. He might have come running after hearing my warning.

"Why did you call me in a hurry?" he asked. I didn't reply and again turned towards the warrior who was not there. "Was I dreaming about him?" I questioned myself.

"It was a misunderstanding only, Aana. In the last month, you only think about Alexander. Many times you felt that he was near you but he wasn't. You're only imagining him. Moreover how it is possible that he is here and no one recognised him" Alice said. I nod, agreeing with him but then why do I feel that warrior scent so familiar? I was lost in my thoughts when I felt Aaron's arms around my waist.

"Pearl, would you tell me what happened if you called me urgently?" I removed his hand from my waist, recalling the reason why I called him.

"Because you're an asshole who is not responding to his mate. Do you even care about us?"

"I care about you and our babies that's why I was away from you to search for that bastard" I immediately cooled off upon hearing his reason. If I and the pups are missing him then he wasn't at the party. I know it was equally tough for him to stay away from his family.

"Emma has a high fever and she was continuously calling his Papa."

"She had a fever, '' he exclaimed and ran towards our room to see his princess. I smiled seeing his love for our daughter. I went to see Love who was crying and Marry was trying to calm him. I knew it, he wouldn't sleep without me. I took him in my arms and kissed his forehead after wiping his tears.

"Aaron has come. Now he and I will handle both pups" Marry nodded her head with a smile. I returned to my room, only to find Aaron holding Emma in his arms. His face depicts how worried he is for his princess. I cursed myself for scaring him like this.

"Why isn't she responding to me?" He asked, shaking Emma a little.

"She hadn't slept since last night. Doctor gave her medicine for a while so that she would be able to rest for some time." I muttered, hiding about the injection part. If he came to know the doctor had injected a syringe in Emma's small hand then he would lift the house on his head. I sighed and sat on the bed.

"Papa" Love started jumping from my lap to go near his dad. Aaron made Emma lay down on the swing then took Love in his arms and started kissing all over his face. I look at them with an open mouth.

"Wow... What is love between father, daughter and son? Meeting after a long time. Touchwood." I said sarcastically. Aaron tightened his lips upon hearing me while Love gave me his cute and dashing smile.

"Who cares about his mate or mother," I said dramatically. I looked at Aaron annoyingly when he started laughing at my words.

"My cute and gorgeous mate" He complimented me, pulling my cheek and it was enough to bring a smile to my face. He leaned towards my lips to kiss me when Love started crying. Aaron parted from me and gave him an annoying look and in response Love started laughing.

"He is the villain of our romance" He started laughing awkwardly when I glared at him for making my Prince villain.

"You took my words wrong. I was saying he is the result of our romance." My face turned red knowing the dark meaning behind his words. He laughed seeing my reaction. I took Love from his arms while I did a cold sponging to Emma to reduce her fever as the doctor recommended. Thanks to the moon goddess it worked and her temperature got normal. After blowing the blanket over her, I sat on the bed near Aaron who just put Love to sleep.

He hugged me bringing a smile to my face. The way he took me into his arms was enough for me to know how much he missed me.

"I missed you" He said and attached his lips to mine. I respond to him with equal passion and desire. Soon the kiss turned into a wild kiss and we started undressing each other.
