I was enjoying my both pups' birthdays with Aana when my eyes went to a group of strange people who were looking anxious. I asked Aana and Patrick to stay beside the pups and went towards the group. They were startled when I approached them.

"What happened? Why do you all look frightened as someone threatens you?" I asked, slightly releasing my aura to make them realise who I am and what I can do.

"Alpha" I smirked when they started panting because of my aura.

"We are here to take the princess with us who is a healer as well" It would be a lie if I said I wasn't shocked upon hearing him because no one knows my girl is a healer like me except Marry and Aana.

"Shocked how we knew about it?" He chuckled. I grabbed him by his neck and dragged him towards one of the rooms, not wanting to spoil my pup's birthday party.

"How?" I asked, digging my nails into his throat, almost entangling him to death.

"Alexander spread this news in the entire werewolves and vampire world"

"That moron" I cursed and killed that group of people before their shitty eyes fell on my princess. Aana was right, we have to be careful and always stay alert to protect our pups. I scratched my eyebrow, thinking about the villain of our lives. I've been trying to find him for the past year but we didn't even find a clue to reach him.

"Where are you, Aaron? It's cake cutting time" Aana mindlink me. I took a deep breath to calm myself. My heart was beating at a higher speed. The thought they could harm my girl was enough to shake my soul.

"Aaron" she mindlink me again when I didn't respond to her

"Will be there in fifteen minutes" I replied and went to wash my hands which were covered in blood. Thankfully my suit doesn't get spoiled in everything. After getting freshened up, I went near her and found her, trying to wake up my kids who were sleeping like sleeping beauties.

"See… They don't even care to look at everything for once. You did so much to celebrate their birthday and what they are doing? Sleeping" She frowned and was about to wake them up when I held her hand.

"It's okay, Pearl."

"We didn't even cut the cake, '' she muttered in a baby tone. I smiled and hugged her from behind then kissed her cheeks.

"Let them sleep, Pearl. Even if you wake them up then they will start crying and feel irritated with everything. After that, we won't be able to cut the cake. It's better they are sleeping than crying" She nodded her head understanding what I was trying to say.

"What about the cake ceremony?" she asked, looking at the chocolate cake.

"We will cut it. After all, it's our birthday as well" She turned towards me, looking at me confusingly.

"Our birthday?"

"Yes.. as a parent it's our first birthday" She shook her head before smiling.

"Why are you so cute, handsome, smart and the most desirable man in the world?" she said, pulling my cheeks. I rolled my eyes and removed her hand before rubbing my cheek as it was slightly hurting.

"What was the need of pulling my cheeks"

"My choice" she chuckled and kissed my cheek before biting it.

"Pearl" I hissed to which she giggled bringing a smile to my face. She was about to go near the cake when I held her hand and pulled her closer to me.

"I'm a cute, handsome, smart and most desirable man because the moon goddess made me like this as she was pairing me with a gorgeous, stunning and mesmerised girl. we should be compatible, you know?" She laughed at my words and then nodded her head.

"No one can win against you in an argument."

"You win my heart then I can at least win an argument" She rolled her eyes.

"If you're done then let's cut the cake" I nodded my head and encircled my one hand around her waist. She chuckled and kissed my lips but before I could respond, she parted. She showed me her tongue when I glared at her frustratingly, teasing me and went towards the cake.

"Patrick stay with pups and don't let anyone come closer to our pups" I mindlink him.

"What happened, Alpha?"

"I will tell you later" I broke the mindlink and cut the cake with my Pearl who was over the moon. She badly wanted a grand birthday celebration for our pups but was afraid of Alexander. Thanks to the moon goddess she agreed to have a grand party otherwise we would both have regretted it. After the cake cutting, we spent some time with the guests while having our dinner. Pups are with Marry and Patrick that's why I and Aana were having our dinner peacefully.

"Aaron" I was talking to an Alpha when Aana mindlink me. I turned towards her.

"I'm going back to our room with pups."

"Why?"

"Feeling tired" She yawned. I smiled and excused myself to go near her.

"Let's go"

"Why did you come here? you attain the guest I will manage" she muttered.

"I will come back after dropping you at the room"

"I will manage, Aaron"

"I'm coming and that's the end of the topic. Moreover, I would be relieved that you're secured with our pups and inside the room" She didn't argue further and nodded her head. After dropping her and the pups inside the room. I left the room with an excuse that Patrick was calling me.

I was checking the security and told Patrick to double it when Aana mindlink me while crying.

"Aaron.. Is Emma with you?" My eyes widened upon hearing her question.

"What? No.. I leave her with you." I said and ran towards my room where I left her with pups.

"If she is not with you then" she broke the mindlink. I reached near the room, only to find her standing outside the room, holding Love in her arms.

"Aana" She looked at me and held my hand.

"She is missing, Aaron" She broke down into tears. My heart started beating at a higher speed and my face became pale upon hearing her. I remember those traitors' faces who came to take my princess. What if there are more of them? My eyes went to Aana who was crying bitterly.

"Don't worry.. we will search for her. She must be here and there only," I muttered, trying to act strong in front of her but only I know how I was trying my best not to panic.

Aana And I were looking for our princess in the entire palace when I heard her taking the name of the villain of our love story.

"Alexander" she was holding a ring in her hand.

"Pearl" She looked at my side and then showed me the ring. "It's the Alexander ring. He kidnapped our girl" Tears rolled from her eyes. I shook my head.

"No… That's not possible… You're mistaken, Aana."

"He touched me, Aaron. I can't be mistaken. It's his ring that he wore in his filthy right hand" She snarled. I clutched my hair frustratingly, unable to understand how I should react or what to do.

"Emma" I pulled Aana into my arms to calm her but she pushed me away and slapped me hard.

"It's all your fault" She screamed, leaving me dumbstruck.

"Pearl"

"I told you not to organise this celebration. It wouldn't be safe for our pup but you were stubborn, not ready to listen to me. He kidnapped my Emma. I can't even imagine what he will do to my girl" My face drained and I felt like my leg stumbled upon hearing him. That bastard could do anything with my girl and this thought was enough to stop my breathing.

"Nothing will happen to her, Aaron. we won't let anything happen to her." Rex said, trying to handle the situation. I wiped my tears when I saw my Pearl condition. She was shivering and breathing heavily. It didn't take me long to understand that she was having a panic attack.

"Pearl" I was about to hold her hand but she pushed me away.

"Don't.. Dare you to touch me, liar"

"Liar"

"Yes… You're a liar.. what did you promise me that you would protect our pups then what happened? Why is she not with me?" She yelled and took her steps away from me. She was about to fall when Patrick held her from behind. She was having a severe panic attack.

"It's all because of your stubbornness, Aaron. I will never forgive you if something happens to our Emma. find her or you will lose everything including me" She said looking at me angrily. I shook my head, unable to understand what I should do. A moment before we were celebrating both of our pups' birthdays and now I'm seeing my family shattered in front of my eyes. I turned my head towards Marry when I heard Love sobbing. He was crying after seeing their parents fight. I was about to take him into my arms when Aana pushed me away and took him into her arms. I look at her, widening my eyes.

"Stay away from us until you bring back my girl and if you didn't then forget you ever had any mate or pups" I felt like the ground slipped under my feet. Before I could have said something, she turned her face in another direction.
