Phoebe was still turning these thoughts in her mind as she passed by those who were congratulating themselves on winning the case

Jason did not even mind that they were in the sight of everyone including the press, he kept kissing Nancy, carrying her as though he wanted to eat her up.

This made Phoebe so jealous that she hurried yo pass them and be gone to her house.

'Phoebe!' a voice called. She was shocked. She could recognize that voice any where.

'You have lost. And from the looks of it, your Romeo is not even here to support you. What did you do to him. Did you drive him away with your evil behaviour?'

He looked round and saw people looking at him wondering who he was.

'I was her very first boyfriend and live in lover but her greed made her start sleeping with her boss and when I confronted her later, she said she was doing it for me because I didn't have a job at the time.

This caused alot of problem and she had to relocate to this place because her boss' wife threatened to make her affair with her husband public.

She got a young man Romeo to beat me up when I came looking for her because she had her sights set on Mr. Campbell here.

I am shocked that your obsession seem to be in love with someone else. You have lost all round haven't you?'

Phoebe had got it up to her neck.

'Yes, I may have lost Campbell but I shall look for my Romeo. If he won't accept me for me, he would surely accept me back for the sake of his child who O am carrying?'

She had not known when she said that and a loud 'Oh', went from everyone who knew her and thought Jason was the father of her baby.

She covered her mouth with her lips bit there was nothing to be done. She had already said it and it would make matters worse trying to get take back her words.

She felt tears stinging her eyes. She could not afford to let them see her cry. She knew that the story had gone viral and she would hide her face in shame till another sizzling news took over this one.

Nancy's parents also happened to see the court proceedings and all the hat was being aired live and we're happy that they had found their daughter at last.

They made preparations to visit Lake District to see their daughter, taken down the names that would help them locate her.

They were sorry that they had been too harsh and remote with her that she felt that she couldn't come to them to confide when she became pregnant. They promised each other to make it up to her and wondered what the intensions the man who was hugging and kissing her so openly had.

Rebecca who had thought that she would be consoling Jason and hence warming her way back into his life started having doubts.

Everyone was happy but there was a blight to Nancy's happiness because Rodney had come close to her as he was being led away and whispered something in her ears.

His words scared her bit she did not want to dampen anyone's happiness by telling them of Rodney's Threat but she knew that he meant it. He was not a good loser. He was a sadist and would make sure he ruined her happiness and being in prison was not going to stop him.

After the congratulations, they went home to continue their celebrations. Jason asked Mrs. Potts who could not stop smiling to prepare a la ish meal for every one.

It looked like fortune had s.iled on him. Not only did he win the case, Nancy regained her memory in the process and the dilemma with Phoebe and her pregnancy was resolved as well.

They celebrated Kate into the night and the celebrations continued for three days at a stretch.

The second day of the celebrations, Bruno came and announced that one Mr. and Mrs. Jones wanted to see Nancy.

Nancy could not believe it. Could it be her parents or some other people who happened to have the same surname with her?

'Send them in'.

They walked in a d behold it was actually her parents.

She did not know how to react. She was happy to see them but she felt that they would make a scene and scold her for her pregnancy which was why she had left home without telling them her whereabouts in the first place.

The decision was taken from her as her mother rushed to her and hugged her being mindful of her protruding stomach.

'Oh my baby! I have missed you. My baby is going to have her own baby and this is the way I have been made to find out', she said with no menace or judgement in her voice.

'Mum, I have missed you and dad so much'.

Her dad hugged her as well but not as tightly as her mother and nodded at Jason.

'You must be Mr. Campbell'.

'Yes, I am Mr. Jones. Could we dispell of the formalities? Please call me Jason. All my friends do'.

'In that case, you'd better call me Robert'.

They shook hands and Nancy's mother asked him to call her Marie.

After the introductions, Jason tactfully left.

'I know that you have alot of catching on to do, so I shall go and see to the guests downstairs while giving you the chance to catch up'. He smiled at Nancy who smiled back and left.

'Tell me everything that has happened to you so far. I have been denied any knowledge of your progress and I need to know everything.

Nancy knew that she owed it to them to be truthful.

'I shall do my best but how did you find out about the Campbell's mansion?'

'We followed the case on TV and the last day, we saw you testify. And started making enquires and here we are!'

Nancy sighed. She told them about Rodney and their relationship which he mainly forced along. About the pregnancy and all that happened to make her relocate.

She described her experiences before Jason came into her life and changed her life, gave her a suitable accommodation and job.

'The rest, you already know since you followed the case closely but that last day was not the only day I appeared in court'

'We were unable to watch that day, the first time you came to court because we went to somewhere very urgently'.

They spoke at length and later food was brought for them and they joined in the party.

They couldn't go back that day and a room was prepared for them. It was very spacious and comfortable and they stayed with them for about three days before going back to their home, happy that Nancy was in good hands.

Jason had also told them that he wanted their permission to we'd their daughter.

'Has she accepted yet?'

'I have not asked her yet. These past month has been trying for her and I want her to recover fully before springing such a surprise at her'.

They agreed with him and promised not to say anything to her before he had had the chance to propose to Nancy.

They left but promised to be in touch and no day passed by without Marie calling to find out how her daughter was faring.
