Chapter 241: Chapter 241: It's All a Conspiracy, Call Me the Terminator

When Know-it-All heard the words "dishonest little b*stard," he totally panicked!

"I'm not! I..."

But since he was clearly in the wrong, he couldn’t defend himself. No matter how many excuses he had, the fact remained — he tossed out something someone had entrusted to him.

Any excuse was still a betrayal.

“And what disappoints me the most is that you tried all kinds of ways to dodge the issue instead of just telling me the truth.”

“From the moment I walked in, I’ve been testing you. Unfortunately, you failed.”

Xie Antong’s eyes behind the helmet were now looking at Know-it-All with the same contempt you'd reserve for trash.

“I really thought you were different from the rest of the people in this prison.”

“You’ve lost the last shred of my trust.”

Know-it-All freaked out on the spot and quickly said:

“No, I swear I didn’t!”

Lu Ce looked back and glanced at the cabinet.

“Then what were you doing over there earlier, digging around for stuff?”

“Don’t tell me you were trying to whip up a fake to fool me?”

“Huh?” Know-it-All was dumbfounded. “You seriously can read minds?”

Lu Ce stood up immediately.

“Agh, no—ugh, fine. I admit it, okay? The headset was taken by the Warden.” Know-it-All came clean. He could feel himself turning into exactly what she’d called him — a dishonest little b*stard.

“But there’s a reason, I swear! Back then I—”

Even Lu Ce didn’t expect him to spill everything so easily, like he was trying to get a lighter sentence.

“Alright then, I’ve never seen something like this in this prison before.”

“I guess I was wrong from the start. But wait, are you the one they said is super weird? The one who could bring some big catastrophe?”

“Wanna tell me what's going on?”

Lu Ce was a little thrown, but kept up his act — he turned around to leave.

“No need. I don’t want your compensation either. I’ve got nothing more to say to someone who breaks promises.”

“Consider this my loss. I’m out.”

With that, he turned and headed for the door.

No hesitation in his steps, he walked away fast, screaming in his head, Hurry up and stop me already!

“Wait a second!”

Know-it-All stood up like he’d made some huge decision.

“Who are you calling a dishonest b*stard?!”

“How about this — in exchange, tell me what’s really going on. Satisfy my curiosity.”

“I’ll get your headset back for you!”

Even wearing the Jealousy Mask, Lu Ce was a little surprised. He hadn’t expected this guy to actually have some backbone when it came to this.

He’d come here purely to mess with him — never thought it’d turn into something like this.

Guess he really was the scumbag in this situation.

“You’ve all been fooled,” Lu Ce said, opening with a total lie and keeping a straight face. “Someone’s been feeding you a gigantic f***ing lie.”

Know-it-All: “Did I end up in the wrong story... what are you even talking about?”

“What do you mean by a gigantic lie?”

What did he mean by a gigantic lie?

Lu Ce obviously had no clue — he was totally making this up. Just like when he’d pretended to be the Warden and talked about some huge disaster. That was BS too.

But Know-it-All looked like he was taking it super seriously.

A normal person might’ve felt bad seeing him like this and stopped lying, but Jealousy? Nah, not a normal person. He felt zero guilt.

Time to speak in riddles.

“This prison, the feeding, the purpose of this place, even all of you — everything, everything is part of one massive conspiracy.”

“This conspiracy includes every single person.”

What Lu Ce was saying was total bulls**t. No real content at all, just pure bluffing.

But for some reason, Know-it-All seemed to buy it. His brow furrowed, and his whole demeanor changed from earlier.

“Then… who are you?”

“I’m here to end it all. Or die trying.” That was the only thing Lu Ce said that was actually true. “So, you can call me… the Terminator.”

Know-it-All: ?

What the hell kind of nonsense is this?!

He almost lost it again, but figured they were having a serious conversation now, so he forced his twitching face to calm down.

Then, quietly said:

“About this conspiracy… can you give me any details?”

“Sorry.” Lu Ce started walking forward, but realized he had to tilt his head up to look at the other guy — after all, he was still in Xie Antong’s body.

Tch. Couldn’t this woman be at least 180 cm tall?

Still, his presence wasn’t weak at all. As he walked toward Know-it-All, the guy actually took a step back!

“I don’t trust you. Just like I told you the first time.”

“If you get it now, then you should know what to do next.”

After saying that, Lu Ce didn’t stop — he turned and walked away.

This time, he really left.

If he didn’t, he was gonna lose it.

All this crap about a conspiracy, even the “if you understand” line — he didn’t understand sh*t himself.

Normal lies at least have some connection to the truth. Lu Ce? He had nothing. Just pure nonsense. No real goal either.

Just banking on the other guy to fill in the blanks himself.

And what the guy ends up imagining? Not his problem.

Get the headset back from the Warden?

Good luck with that — the Warden never had it in the first place.

If those two end up fighting? Even better.

Without realizing it, Lu Ce's footsteps got lighter as he walked away.

After doing something rotten, Jealousy always felt a little happier.

“Heh… maybe I should keep going…”

“Maybe go scam that other guy next?”

Lu Ce muttered to himself as he walked out of the room, and as soon as he stepped outside, he switched faces again.

— Now he looked like Know-it-All!

And the real Know-it-All was still inside the room, fingers interlocked, sitting there with a serious expression. His whole face seemed hidden in shadow.

Lu Ce's random B.S. had hit him like a bolt of lightning from a clear sky.

“A conspiracy, huh…”

“How many years has it been…”

No one knew what kind of insane idea he’d just come up with based on Lu Ce's total nonsense.

Elsewhere, in a corner outside the women’s prison, Xie Antong's lips curved into a smile.

She saw clearly — Know-it-All had just walked out of that room.

But she was sure… that wasn’t Know-it-All.

“It’s you, isn’t it…”
