Waking up as early as I could. I started preparing for work.

Today's gonna be a very busy day.

I slipped out of my bed and went straight to the bathroom.

Putting some paste on my toothbrush, I started brushing my teeth.

When I was through, I got under the shower to have a warm bath.

I was feeling kind of awkward and nervous, didn't know why, but my mind keeps telling me something weird gonna happen.

I stepped out of the bathroom and walked carefully to me my closet.

I picked a blue suit with a white camisole since today's Monday with nude heels.

Letting my hair fall over my shoulder, I did a light make-up and carried my classic Gucci back along with me.

I got out of my room and my heels clicked on the ground as I kept on walking.

I got to the dining room and met Max setting the table.

"Good morning Max," I said taking a cup of tea.

" Good morning beauty," He greeted with a smile.

I looked around and Drake wasn't there.

"What of Drake?" I asked sipping on my tea.

"He left early, he said you should take one of the cars in the garage." He informed.

" Oh okay! and Angela?" I asked.

" She went back to her room not quite, she's prepared as you are but she going on her own." He said.

I picked toasted bread and ate and drank all the contents in the cup.

"Thanks, Max, gotta go," I said waving at him as I left the dining room.

I got to the garage and picked a blue model Camry car.

I collected the keys from the driver and drove off.

Getting to work, I stepped out of the car and carried my bag along with me.

I got into the building and was welcomed by Michelle the receptionist.

"Good morning Amanda," She greeted as she typed on the keyboard.

" Good morning dear." I smiled and signed before heading to the elevator.

I got in pressing the button to the first floor.

The elevator door opened and I bumped into Mrs. Wood.

"Sorry, dear." She said smiling at me.

"Good morning Sarah!" I said hugging her.

" Good morning princess, you look so beautiful this morning." She complimented me breaking the embrace.

" How was your trip?" She asked.

"It was fine," I said.

"That's good dear," She said as she pressed the elevator button.

" Is the Boss around?" I asked, I wouldn't want to call him his name in front of his employee.

"Of course, go get his coffee," She said and the elevator door opened and Angela stepped out also wearing a black suit with a white camisole underneath.

She packed her hair in a ponytail and wore black stiletto to match. Her make-up was quite okay this time around.

"Good morning," She greeted and walked past us.

"Gotta go," Sarah said and got into the elevator.

" Good morning Angela," I greeted.

She nodded and walked ahead of me.

I followed behind her till I got to my office and dropped my bag on the seat.

I arranged my table and looked at the time.

It was 7:15 A.M already.

"Gotta make coffee for Drake," I muttered as I packed and arranged the documents on my desk neatly.

I was quick with what I was doing and rushed out to get Drake's coffee.

I pressed the elevator button to the third floor and got in.

I waited for some minutes before the elevator door finally opened.

Some staff greeted me and I hesitated in greeting them back.

Some male staff whispering among themselves making me just nod my head as I walked to the coffee machine.

I made Drake's coffee. He loved it black with just two cubes of sugar.

I carried his cup carefully and headed back to the first floor.

Standing in front of Drake's office. I knocked on the door and without waiting for an answer I opened the door.

He was sitting in his seat with

resting his head on the table.

I walked silently to him and placed my hands gently on his hair putting his coffee on the table.

He looked up immediately and he seemed worried.

"What's wrong?" I asked with concern.

"I don't know, I just don't feel alright like something's gonna happen." He said with a hint of fear in his voice.

The same thought came into my mind this morning but I brushed it off.

"Nothing is gonna happen," I assured him looking him straight in the face and squeezed his hand a bit.

He nodded and I gave him his coffee to drink.

"Thanks, Amanda," He said.

I was about to take my leave when his hands caught mine.

"Don't get hurt." He said nervously.

"I won't," I replied firmly.

I got out of his office and headed to my office.

' Weird!' I thought.

I entered my office and closed the door behind me.

I sighed a lot walked over to my desk and started working.

A lot has to been done as I started with the documents first and setting schedules at the appropriate time.

I received phone calls from other companies and set schedules for them for their meeting.

I heard a knock on my door.

" Come in," I said my attention still on some files.

"Hi!!" Angela walked in.

"Hi," I said staring at her.

"How about I help you out a bit?" She offered.

"Thoughtful of you, sure do help me out got loads of work to do, "I said as she sat down opposite me and took some files from me.

She read through and started working on it, she was quite good in her field.

We kept on working for hours till I forget we skipped lunchtime.

"I'm hungry!" Angela yawned.

"Yeah me too!" I said holding my stomach.

" Let's go grab some lunch quickly." She said standing up.

I nodded and stood up to taking my purse along.

'She's been acting nice nowadays.'

I thought surprisingly.

The Angela I know wouldn't want anything to do with me, now she's asking me for a lunch.

We got out of my office and exited the building.

We walked by the roadside carefully cause today was a real busy day in New York.

We got to the cafe and ordered our lunch.

I ordered fries while she ordered hamburgers.

We ate our food silently and paid our bills.

We got out of the cafe and walked along each side. I was at the edge of the road while she was by my other side.

"Why are you acting nice suddenly?" I asked unexpectedly.

She froze and stared at me.

" I'm not nice to you cause I don't like you." She said.

"Oh! Then why'd you help me out?" I asked taking a step after another.

"Cause Drake made me to." She said fiercely.

"I thought you are over with him?" I asked making her nervous.

"Well I did that because I loved him, I left him alone because he wanted you and you could be the only one to make him happy, you stole his heart away Amanda and I hate you for that. Is always you and you and you Amanda Jackson." She burst angrily.

I was shocked by what she said as she came closer to me.

"I gave up on him cause I wanted his happiness and his happiness is okay for me, so I ain't nice to you Amanda Jackson. " She said angrily as she pushed me off the way fiercely making me lose my balance completely off the edge of the road.

There was a loud horn and I was hit terribly which stung me throughout my entire body as I went completely numb and fell on the floor hitting my head on the floor seriously.

I felt as if death was approaching me as I heard noises.

"Amanda! Amanda!! Amanda!!!" The person screamed shaking me terribly.

I couldn't see cause my vision was blurred and I kept hearing my name and screams till the sound got so faintly that I couldn't hear anymore allowing myself to give in to darkness.
