Waking up as early I could, Amanda was sleeping peacefully on my chest and I stared at her beautiful face.

I loved her smile, her innocent behaviors which always drive me crazy.

Yawning a bit, I brushed her hair off her face and gave her a light peck on the lips.

We would be traveling today and I know it's going to be a stressful one in Paris.

Moving gently away from the bed, I tried not to wake Amanda and got down from the bed and she was still sleeping, I could watch over her all night long.

I guess she's exhausted from what happened between us yesterday night.

I got into the bathroom and switch on the shower. I let water drop on my skin soothing them all.

It was fascinating as I rubbed the gel soap on my skin.

I got out of the bathroom 30 minutes later and found out that Amanda was not on the bed.

Maybe she'd gone to her room, I thought within me.

Amanda POV.

I woke up only to find out that Drake wasn't by my side. I heard the water running in his bathroom.

So I stood up and grabbed my panties and shirt. I wore them and went out of his carefully without making noise.

I got into my room silently and went straight to the bathroom. I was really happy maybe because I was with Drake.

I cleaned myself and washed my hair, applying its treatment as usual.

I got out of the bathroom and dressed.

We will be traveling to Paris and I was excited about it.

I wore a skinny jeans with a wooly top tied my hair into a ponytail.

I checked the time and it was already some minutes past six and our flight is around seven thirty in the morning.

I packed some clothes I will be taking to Paris. I just wish Drake could allow us spend a few days.

I carried my bag and got out of my room.

I walked carefully down the staircase. I saw Drake seating at the dining table with a cup in his hands as he sipped on it while Angela sat opposite him starting at him in a way I don't know.

"Good morning everyone." I chirped in.

Drake raised up his head and flashed me a great smile and wasted no time smiling back at him.

I turned towards Angela and acted as if I didn't say a word earlier and just kept on stirring her cup of coffee.

I took my seat beside Drake and sat down.

"Good morning beauté." Max said walking in with a tray of toast bread with fried eggs and Bacon.

"Good morning Max." I said smiling at him while Drake gave me a smirk.

Max served us our breakfast and we ate silently.

Drake finished first and stood up.

"Meet me in the car." He said briefly and went.

I was left with Angela and glanced towards her who was making it obvious she was staring at me with hatred showing clearly in her eyes.

"Is there a problem?" I asked glaring back at her.

"Well, hope you had the best moment yesternght." She said with coldness in her voice.

"Hmmm Yeah!!" I said and continued eating my last toast.

She stood up and left without a single word.

I sighed and was about to leave also when Max called from behind.

"Yes." I answered turning towards him and started at the package in his hands.

"It was delivered yesterday and I didn't want to disturb you as you were asleep." He said handing over the box to me.

"Oh thank so much!" I said collecting it happily.

I was on my way going when he said.

"Please be careful of Angela, she might be really dangerous if she sees someone get in her way." He said looking worriedly.

"Do you know anything about her?" I asked curiously.

" Not really but I just thought maybe I should tell you." He said.

" I don't like her." He whispered as if she could hear him.

I laughed.

"Don't worry I will be fine." I said and walked out.

" Safe journey!" He shouted from behind.

" Thanks! I said as I hopped out of the house.

Daniel had already helped me with my bag as I got into the dining room earlier.

I walked fast to where the limousine was waiting and got into the car.

"What took you so long?" Angela asked wickedly.

" None of your business." I said curtly.

I looked over at Drake, who placed his Airpod in his ear and ignored us.

I don't know why he's acting that way.

I placed my package on my laps and brought out a Novel and started reading it.

Everyone minded his or her own business in one way to avoid getting bored.

Daniel started the car and drove off.

An hour later.

We finally got to the airport and it wkas just 7:15 meaning we had 15 minutes more to board the plane.

Well we are going for a private jet since Drake didn't want any disturbance.

Our luggages was carried into the plan and Drake came behind me.

"You look beautiful this morning Amanda." He complimented me.

"Thank you." I said and flashed him a smile.

Angela was coming up behind us and was well behaved by concentrating on her IPhone which I knew she's pretending.

She will always act like a cool girl when Drake is around and behave like a devil whenever I'm with her alone.

We boarded the plane and Drake sat next to me.

He held my hands and concentrated on his IPhone while I continued reading my book.

Angela sat at the extreme side and I could feel her eyes were piercing through me.

I glanced at her and could see she was wiping her face with a handkerchief.

Well it's non of my business, I wouldn't stick myself to someone who doesn't love me or care for me a dime.

"Fasten your seat belt, we are about to take off." The Pilot said through the speaker.

We did as told and before we knew it. We were in the air.

I always loved the sight of travelling in the sky as I stared out of the window.

Drake was busily squeezing my hands and I would purposely pinch him when he does that making him to chuckle.

"Well, I see you both are enjoying yourself. Will you mind if I ask the Boss to see me for some minutes?" Angela asked calmly like she's trying to get what belongs to her patiently.

"Sure." I said as I removed my hand from Drake's.

"Say it here am not in the mood to stand up." Drake said curtly.

I rolled my eyes and said to myself.

Drake you're a jerk!

"It's important I have to say it with you only." Angela begged more like saying.

" Guess I will have to stand so you can talk to him ." I said stood up immediately.

Drake glared and I gave him the don't ignore her look.

"Thank you Amanda." Angela said but I knew it wasn't from her heart.

I sat down on one of the seat at the extreme end where a window was.

I continued reading till I slept off.

Angela POV.

I was happy that Amanda finally had to excuse us.

I sat beside Drake who focused on his IPhone and ignored me.

"Ehm!" I said nervously playing with my fingers.

"What is it you have to say." He cut in sharply.

"About our companies." I said trying to muster some boldness.

" What about it?" He asked again making me annoyed.

"Don't tell me you don't know about it.". I said as best I could.

We were supposed to be together not that bitch! I thought angrily in me.

"That....?" Drake asked still concentrating on his IPhone.

"You've got to be kidding me." I said loosing my control.

He didn't say anything but glanced at Amanda who's already asleep.

"You know what our parents want for us." I said my throat itching.

" They want us to be together so we will merge your goddamn company with ours." He said with a smirk.

He's so unbelievable, I thought within me.

" So what are you going to do about it?" I asked making my hopes high.

" Nothing." He said casually.

" What do you mean nothing?" I asked angrily.

He stared at me but I didn't fucking care any longer.

"You are supposed to make things work out between us, don't you realise I love you." I bursted out covering my face with my palms.

"I don't fucking care about you Angela, I want nothing to do with you. I don't care about what your father said convincing my parents to merge our companies with yours. We are doing absolutely fine without you." Drake shot back.

" Why do you hate me?" I asked my voice trembling with what he said.

"I don't hate you Angela, I just don't have any feelings towards you. It's just blank. I'm sorry to say this am in love with someone else." He said finally breaking me to pieces.

" Is it because of that bitch you are turning me down, do you know how many men will be lucky to have me by their side." I said angrily and frustratedly.

" See am beginning to hate this discussion with you, I don't love you simple and go meet those men that are dying to be with you." He said and got up from his as he went over to Amanda and placed her head gently on his laps.

I was heartbroken, I wasn't expecting this.

And it's all because of this crazy bitch Amanda.

She doesn't know who she's dealing with.

No one takes what is mine and go scot-free.

I chuckled within me tired of crying.

She might die soon! I thought within me.
