I woke up from the buzzing sound of my alarm and sat lazily on my bed as I stretched my hands.

I recalled what happened at the dining room yester night and how Drake seemed so angry about the broken cup.

I got down from my bed and find my way to the bathroom. I dropped my clothes on the floor and got under the shower and let the hot water sooth its way through my skin.

I washed my hair and got out of the bathroom. I applied all my necessary hair treatment to make my hair a bit straight.

I went to my closet and picked a bluish turtle neck body hug gown and a cream blazer to match along.

I did a neutral make up and let my hair fall straight and wore a matching stiletto heels.

I glanced at the mirror and picked up my bag and headed downstairs.

I got to the dining room and met Drake sipping tea for his cup.

I tried to walk quietly but the clicking sound my heels made interrupted that.

Drake looked and his mouth was agape as he saw me, he dropped his cup immediately and came to me.

"Good morning Amanda", He said as he brushed the strands of hair behind my ear.

"Good morning", I replied smiling at him.

"You look damn beautiful! Just like the morning sun", He complimented me.

"Thank you, you look good yourself", I said as I adjusted his tie.

I tried to move away when his hands gripped firmly on my waist making me face him squarely.

We stared at each others as his eyes kept melting me. He moved closer and his lips brushed mine and he caught my lips.

We started kissing as I wrapped my hands around his neck.

Someone cleared her throat and I knew it was Angela.

I tried to free myself from Drake but he held on to me firmly and smirked at me as I glared at him.

Angela was wearing a short mini leather black skirt that showed off her thighs and wore a lemon button shirt and high heels that could make someone fall off their feet.

She wore this make up that made her radiant like an angel and tied her hair up.

She was beautiful I will say but I don't like the fake character she is behaving meanwhile she's not.

"Good morning", She said as she walked past us.

"Good morning", I said and grabbed Drake's tea as he stared at me.

I smirked at him and drank all the content in it.

Angela drank her tea and picked her bag.

"So what will I be doing at work today", She said as she glanced at Drake.

Drake shrugged and looked at me as I nodded for him to continue.

"You will be working under Amanda as her assistant so you do whatever she asks you to do and at the same you be the lower personal assistant", He said satisfied with what he said.

I looked at him still trying to believe my ears, how on earth will I be able to work with her when she is already giving me attitudes.

"Thank you!!", She said and glared at me and I gave her shot back.

Drake stood up and went out while I dropped the cup and made to head out.

Angela pulled me back roughly.

"I think it would be very great working with you Amanda", she said wickedly.

"Get your hands off me", I said annoyingly as I freed myself from her and went out.

We both went over to where the driver parked and I got in.

"Where's Drake?", I asked.

"He went out with the other car, he said he is driving himself", Daniel explained.

"Okay", I said as Angela settled herself on the seat.

I looked out of the window as I stared at the surrounding and people engaged in one thing and the other.

We got to the company and I got out of the car.

Angela followed behind and we got into the building.

"Good morning", The receptionist greeted with a smile.

"Good morning", I said and signed and gestured to Angela to do the same which she did.

"Is she an employee here?",The receptionist asked looking at Angela and I guess she was studying her as her eyes moved from the top of her head to toe.

"Yes she is", I said and headed for the elevator.

Angela and I got in and press the button to the first floor, everything was getting awkward of just me and Angela alone in the elevator.

Finally the elevator opened and we stepped out and went straight to my office.

"What a nice office you got", Angela said as she looked around my office.

"Yeah!", I said as I started packing documents on my table.

"Here read this file, I will get back to you soon", I said as I handed the file to her and went out of the office.

"Good morning Mrs. Wood", I said as I smiled at her.

"Oh! Amanda dear, How are you?", She asked.

"Fine ma'am", I replied.

"We've got a new employee and I was wondering if she will have her own office", I said praying she does I don't want her to be in the same office with me.

"Drake informed me this morning and her office is ready, don't worry about that", she said smiling at me.

"Oh okay! That's great", I said as I made my way to the third floor to prepare Drake's coffee.

I got to Drake's office and opened the door without knocking a habit am fond of.

I got into his office and he was making a call which seems serious and he was angry the way he was talking.

I dropped his coffee on the table and went over to him and rubbed my hands at his back his gaze met mine and his anger subsided as he ended the call.

"What's wrong?", I asked.

"It's the castle", He said as he brushed his hair back feeling frustrated.

"What do they want?", I asked.

"He wants Angela to stay as long as she wants and I'm only offering a month for her, I don't want her any close to me she's a devil", He said.

"Everything will be okay", I assured him.

"And please stay safe away from her she could hurt you", He said looking worried at me.

"I will be fine Drake", I said and gave him a light peck.

I withdrew from him when he grabbed me from my waist.

"You look damn hot in this dress Amanda", He said lustfully making me roll my eyes at him.

I pushed him away and he chuckled as I made my way out of his office.

I went straight to my office and Angela wasn't there maybe Mrs. Wood has told her some things to do and showed her office.

I sat on my seat and started working making different schedules as I can.

I glanced at the time and it was lunch hour.

I was about to stand up when my phone beeped.

It was Annie who sent me a message.

Hello sweetie!! Meet me at the cafe not far from your work, can't wait to see you.

I read the message and grinned like a little kid as I took my purse and hopped out of my office.

Have really missed Annie.
