Drake POV

We got into the plane. Amanda sat beside the window and plugged her earpiece in her phone and put them in her ears.

"Hey!! How are you", I said as I sat beside her.

She smiled at me and removed the ear piece from ears.

"What were you saying?", She asked innocently.

I laughed at her and took her hands in mine and stared at her face.

"I said how are you doing", I smirked.

"Fine! I guess", she said.

"Uhm!! What about the lady that followed us here?", She asked.

"You mean Adriana", I asked her.

" Uhm!! Yeah, I don't really know her name but she's kinda hot", I said frankly.

" I sent her back immediately we got to my house in London", I said.

" I've never brought a lady into my house before", I said looking at her.

She looked awe.

" Any reason to that ", she asked.

"I don't really know", I said trying to be serious.

I wanted her to change the topic.

She arched her brow at me and looked towards the window.

"Hey!!! See that eagle" , she said as she tapped at me and pointed her finger to the window.

I smiled at her as she giggled,at how the eagle kept on following us.

She brought out her phone and took a picture of the eagle.

"You like animals" I said.

"Yes, I do", she replied.

"I remembered when I was a little kid and went to a zoo with my parents, I saw some chimpanzee and there was a warning we shouldn't go close to the cage but I was too ignorant to obey.

Have heard from my mates that chimpanzee were kind of friendly and I wanted to be sure. So I went close to the cage and brought out some bananas. My mum looked and shouted my name Ammy no!! Before I knew what was happening one of the chimpanzee grab my hand.

I was scared, actually not that scared, so I gave it the bananas and I could it see it smiling at me,so the rest came along and I gave them bananas", she said laughing.

" Wow, that's cool" I laughed along with her.

After awhile we became silent just then

She put back her earpiece and started humming.

"What song are you listening to" I asked her as I removed one of the earpiece from her ear.

" Home by Westlife", she said.

"It's a old song though, but I love it", she said.

I listened along with her and watched the way she closed her eyes and parted those full lips of hers.

I knew if I stare long at her, I would do something stupid.

So I be stood up.

"Wanna catch some sleep", I said.

"Ok", she replied.

I went to the back seat and lay down as I brought out my phone and scrolled up at some of my E-mail messages.

I looked over at her and found out she was already sleeping.

"Everyone get ready and fasten your seatbelt", the pilot said through the speaker.

I stood up and went over to Amanda.

"Hey baby! Wake up" I said.

She rubbed and her eyes and looked at me.

"Did you just say baby", she laughed.

I smirked at her.

"Fasten your seat belt, we will be landing soon", I told her.

"15 minutes left to land", the pilot said through the speaker again.

I sat close to her as we both fasten our belts.

We landed safely and my driver was already around.

I helped her with her luggages and the driver came to get the rest.

"Welcome back sir", Daniel said.

"Thanks" , I answered him.

I wrapped my hand around Amanda waist and she looked at me and shook her head as I smirked down at her.

We got into the car and the drive was silent all through.

I stole glances at Amanda as she was focused her attention looking out through the window.

"Take us to Amanda's house", I commanded.

"Yes sir", he said.

It was a one hour drive to Amanda's house before I headed back to mine.

Amanda POV

While in the car I focused my attention out looking at the window, I didn't want to look at Drake.

I was wondering why am just being timid all of a sudden.

Actually something has changed in me, I knew it, I was beginning to have feelings, not like I don't have at all but this was different.

I didn't want to trust Drake that much, I haven't gotten the nerve to give a guy my full trust .

I was beginning to get uncomfortable in the silence that surrounded us.

"Take us to Amanda's house", he finally said.

" Yes sir", Daniel answered.

All the while have texted Annie to come spend the night with me.

We got to my apartment and I set to get out from the car when Drake pulled me by wrist.

"Amanda",he whispered as he moved close to me .

Have felt my heart miss a beat.

Why am getting moved any time he touches me, I thought within me.

I smiled at him but he moved closer to me and his lips landed on mine, I kissed him back a little and pushed him a little too soon.

I tried to catch my breath.

"I have to go", I said as I looked at him.

"Have a nice weekend, Amanda", he said.

"Yeah!! You too". I said and got out from the car.

The driver has already packed my bags at my doorstep.

"Thank you", I told him.

"You are welcome, have a nice day", he said.

He is always too serious, I thought within myself .

I looked back at them and Drake waved at me as they drove off.

Something was strange in Drake. He is acting cool somehow.

I unlocked my door and carried my bags to my room .

I jumped on my bed.

"Have really missed home", I said as I hugged my pillow.

I stood up and went into the bathroom to have a quick shower, then I changed into my pyjamas and tied my hair up.

I went into the kitchen to see what I could make for I and Annie before she arrives.

I still have some pasta left with green peas and carrots and all the necessary ingredients.

I was almost done cooking when my door bell rang.

I went quickly to open the door and it was Annie.

"Yippee!!!! Have missed you" , she said as she threw herself on me and gave me a tight hug.

" Me too", I said almost choking.

"Awwwnn!!! So nice to see you again", she said still hugging me.

" Pl-Please!! Can you let me breath", I managed to say as I reminded her she was still hugging me.

"Oh! Am sorry, you know how much I've missed you", she said as she dragged me inside.

" I know " , I said as I rolled my eyes at her.

She threw the cushion pillow at me and I was lucky to grab it on time before it hits me hard on my face.

"Come on, let's go to kitchen, I prepared dinner", I said as I made my way to the kitchen .

" Yummy! Yummy!! Yummy!!!", She sing-sang as she chuckled and follow me to the kitchen.

Sometimes I wonder how childish she could be sometimes.

I served the dinner and we ate as we both giggled and laugh on some funny things that happened at her work place.

"Now , tell me what happened in London", she said looking at me.

I dropped my fork immediately on my plate and stared at her.

Here we go again, I thought within myself. She would never stop being curious.
