I know he means it, I reach for his fingers then kiss him my overprotective man is here, he may be right Ariel is a threat to our lives, but I feel there is something he is not telling me.

“Is he really that dangerous?”

I tried to find information Sean looked at me with a reassuring look but he looked careful, what is this?? There must be something he’s hiding my senses groaning in annoyance, I sigh heavily this is like detective work and I’m the detective, maybe I should schedule my next consultation with Merlin’s doctor about Sean’s behavior that doesn’t share information easily. Sean nodded slowly I tried to understand and didn’t want to force him to say whatever he was hiding, but whatever it was he definitely had information.

“I’m hungry, I’ll cook something for us.”

I changed this topic with dinner, I immediately turned to the wall in closet leaving Sean who also followed me to the wall in closet, he was choosing clothes when I left him out of the room to the kitchen. Sam is nowhere to be seen who knows where he is, maybe he is in his study, I haven’t fully looked around this apartment but Sean once said that Sam has his own workspace in the apartment, it’s Saturday it seems Sean asked Sam to stay here while Mrs.Liam still has her day off, tomorrow is Caroline’s wedding I’m not interested in telling her this, well, she must be busy preparing things for tomorrow.

Tonight I prepared black pepper beef steak with avocado cream sauce that I made myself, boiled potatoes, carrots and beans then cut them into sticks, after that served it with my avocado cream sauce steak, Sean came and helped me prepare dinner.

“This is delicious, do you do this often?” he asked, I shrugged my shoulders.

“Yes, I often help the housekeeper at my house cook with my mom.”

Sean smiled, my senses glared at me so that I could get information back from him. My Inner Goddess looked at me with a wary look she was squeezing the hem of her nightgown.

“What about the accident case?”

I glanced at Sean who was chewing slowly, I waited impatiently for him to take a deep breath before answering.

“Ariel was involved in the accident.”

My heart goes up to my mouth, oh my God! And the guy is still out there, dammit! He’s really dangerous, suddenly my food looks boring so I’m not in the mood to eat it.

“He was also involved in the attack on your car.”

I gripped my spoon and fork firmly, my head throbbed and panic attacked me, my blood immediately cooled, I never thought of this, I thought that the culprit was Atika because she was the only person who openly tried to snatch Sean from me, but what was her motive?? Ariel’s words when he attacked me came back to me. Who is that man?? Maybe he knows something about Sean, Sean grabbed my hand holding the fork then stroked the back of my hand with his thumb.

“I won’t let anything happen to you, Ariana, I will take care of you.”

I turned to look at him, his golden eyes looked at me with confidence, then who will take care of him?? I felt the feeling when the accident happened again, my heart constricted and tears quickly gathered in my eyes. Sean got up from his chair and stood right in front of me when I started to sob, I dropped my spoon and fork on my plate making a slightly noisy sound, he immediately took me into his arms.

“Relax, honey, you’re safe.”

I shook my head and tried to stop my crying which unfortunately didn’t want to stop, what’s wrong with me and tears?? Why am I so whiny??

“Who will take care of you? I also don’t want anything to happen to you like that time.”

His hand caressed my hair that touch slightly eased my panic, my crying subsided a little and turned into a single sob, Who can guarantee his safety?? While the madman was still out there hanging around, it was possible he was plotting a plan. Will this get any worse?? Sean cupped my chin with his thumb and forefinger then lifted my face, his eyes looked at me sadly his lips kissed my forehead my eyes closed as his lips gently pressed my forehead.

“I can take care of myself, baby, after all you’re like a savior goddess to me just by saying your name I’m saved.”

I smiled in my sad feelings at his joke, his golden eyes lit up again a mischievous smile played on his lips. I wonder what’s on his mind he’s always so unpredictable.

“Thinking of something interesting, Mr Valentino??!”

I looked at him curiously, one eyebrow raised and his gaze turned intense. My inner goddess fanned her burning face her mood could change quickly and it affected me too.

“Finish your food I have to finish my work,” he said, he kissed the top of my head then left me alone in the kitchen, again I looked at my beef steak which was only half, I immediately finished my dinner with a little struggle my mind was filled with many things about Ariel, after finishing dinner and drinking quickly, rushed to collect my and Sean’s dinner plates and then washed them in the sink, then dried my hands with a washcloth hanging near the sink faucet.

The dark red grapes in the refrigerator looked fresh, my itchy hand immediately plucked the three grapes from the stem. This grape tastes very fresh when it enters my mouth, it tastes sweet when I chew it this fruit tastes better when it is not wine. My eyes went back to exploring the contents of the refrigerator, it seemed that my stomach still wanted to be filled with something and the chocolate milk in the glass bottle was very tempting, I closed the refrigerator to take a glass, I was surprised when a knife pressed against the skin of my neck, my heart seemed to stop beating for a split second.
