“Open it!” his command answered my question which I didn’t say, I opened the box, a pair of diamond earrings from a world-famous jewelry store brand lay gracefully in the box.

My mouth is dry looking at the beautiful earrings.

“You’re going to wear it tonight.”

“Tonight??”

What else is this?? Another surprise?? Another waste of money?? My senses fainted on the spot, while my Inner Goddess waved her hand nonchalantly.

“Rani, my mom and Caroline are planning your birthday party tonight.”
