In Elly's view, Alex is apologizing to her for Emily Russel.

Elly directly refused to accept his apology.

"You don't have to apologize for her. Apologizing doesn't solve the problem completely."

As she turned carelessly, Elly accidentally touched her neck. She gave a whisper.

"What happened?" Alex doubted and observed her behavior.

"There's nothing..." Her answered paused as he lifted her hair and touched his fingers against the wound, causing the groans of pain to fall gently off her lips.

The crimson fingers and two scratches were a little bloody, and the grass on Emily Russel's sharp fingernails was scratched. Elly's heart beats fast again because their posture is very close.

"Boss, I'm okay."

"OK, I'll send someone to pick up the medicine. I'll apply it." Ales uttered with a soft voice that rang in her ears, and Alex's face was quite close to her.

She didn't like the intimate posture of the two so she walked into the room without his hand.

Alex followed him through the door and frowned tightly when he saw the box on the bed.

"Are you serious?"

"Or what?" Elly spoke beautifully. "Will I always live here and wait for someone else to strangle me?"

"It won't happen again." Alexis reached into the suitcase and tried to unload it, but she pulled it back.

"In a word, you should stay away from me. I don't want to be misunderstood."

"How far is it?" Alex growled, pounced on her, and pushed her body onto the bed. He quickly controlled her hands and pulled them up to restrain them. As he looked down at the angry face under him, her breathless chest revealed most of the skin on her collar that made Alex's eyes narrowed dangerously.

"Did I allowed you to leave me? I solemnly warned you that wherever you live, I'll follow you."

Elly laid her back on the bed. She looked at the fierce and overbearing man above her, and suddenly she felt calm.

Elly giggled and spit out a word slowly. "Even if I go to hell, will you join me?"

"What do you mean?" Alex's voice trembled, and he saw the firm light glistened in her eyes.

"If I hadn't been strangled, I could have killed myself in other ways and left you."

Elly's words, like a sharp knife, pierced Alex's heart deeply. He asked a lot of questions.

"Do you want to throw me away like this?"

Elly did not answer. He let go of her hand and sat beside him. There is a sullen silence.

Finally, Elly laughed at herself. All in all, she's just a little secretary.

"I want to live for a few more decades, and I'm not interested in dying unjustly."

Emily Russel's behavior today really troubled her psychologically. The first time she faced death, she was really scared. So, she's willing to threaten Alex with her own death.

Alex didn't continue to persuade her because he did not want to force her anymore. He stood quietly on the balcony on the second floor and watched her leave the villa. He knew she's in a bad mood, and he'll give her some time.

At the same time, all of Emily Russel's furniture was sent to Russel's home by Alex. Emily Russel was completely taken away from the boss.

The second day. At the top of the Hargreaves Group, Alex Hargreaves quickly flipped through the documents submitted by Secretary Gerald.

"Is this the latest information about Elly?"

"I don't understand why she chose to be so far away from the company." Gerald expressed doubts.

Alex threw the material on the table and said faintly.

"Because life is simple. That is not a business district, so the rent is relatively cheap."

Gerald hid his surprised eyes. General Manager Mu lost a little change, how could Elly end up like this?

After work in the evening, Alex Hargreaves drove directly to the rented house of Elly.

As she heard a knock on the door, Elly opened the door and saw Alex. Her expression became unnatural.

"Mr. Alex, how did you know I was here? Elly sighed at his ability to master and gather information. She just moved here yesterday, and they already found her location in just one day.

Mu Ying smiled softly. "If I want to see you, I will always know where you are."

Elly lowered her face and faced her to talk.

He deliberately looks inside and asked. "Aren't you going to invite me in?"

She moved aside and let Alex Hargreaves jump in. Elly awkwardly poured him a glass of water and placed it in front of him.

"I just moved in, and I haven't had time to go to the market yet. There's only tap water at home. Don't laugh."

When he looked at the furniture and layout of the room, Alex was unhappy and frowned.

"How can you keep living in this remote place? It's far away from the company and it's not safe. You should move somewhere else."

Alex really cared about her, but his words touched Elly's self-esteem. Her lips moved. "There's no denying that you are a rich man, and you will not understand the life of the poor. Although it is far away from the company, safety is guaranteed. I think it's good."

Miserable, Alexis finally put forward the advice in his heart.

"Elly, I don't want to live in the old villa anymore. I can live in the shepherd's house. It's close to the company, the security is good. I want to leave there and live here instead.

Elly interpreted and listened to his joke.

"Even for Maverick, can't you go to him? The child likes you very much."

"I'm done talking. I'm sorry, I just want to live here alone. Life is good now."

She also likes the child- Maverick, but she has a life of her own.

John is in a bad mood. He signed a contract with Sarah Olsen to let her be his girlfriend for a month. Every day, the two expressed their love in front of Ms. Elliot to prove that the relationship is getting better and better.

Sarah Olsen was also sad that her family arranged the marriage, so she quickly accepted John's offer.

Seeing John frowned, Sarah Olsen suddenly realized and spoke in a witty tone. "Oh, my God, not only because of my intimate actions but also because you feel guilty for her."
