Chapter 57 Wherever I Live, You Must Be There

Elly never dared to have feelings for Alex. She knew that the gap and distance of their status and their identity were separated.

"Ms. Elly, do you understand what I mean? We're all the same. Now that you take my place, you will have a result sooner or later."

"Miss Emily, you are wrong." Elly looked up and her eyes were in a mess.

"I never wanted to take your place. But I know what you mean. I'm leaving the villa. Don't worry."

Elly pushed open the door neatly and left with dignity.

Emily Russel's deep eyes looked at the back of Elly.

"This is your last chance. Don't make me cruel." She murmured.

After getting off the car, Elly had a heavy chest and found that she's having a difficulty in breathing. She doesn't know why she felt this way. Is it because of Emily Russel's words? Or for Alex?

She kept thinking of his confessions and soft words that tickled and stayed in her heart, coupled with Alex's excessive intimacy. Is he kidding me?

But then, she realized that she doesn't have the right to be angry. She is just a substitute.

She heaved a sigh, a decision came to her mind that made her heart miserable.

Elly began to pack. Mr. Geno the housekeeper inadvertently found out and tried his best to dissuade her immediately.

"Miss Elly, you can't just leave."

"You keep telling me you found a tenant. It's only a matter of time before I move out." Elly took the suitcase and pushed the housekeeper away from her and headed to the door.

Housekeeper General up first. He closed the door, stood up silently, and guarded the door.

Elly looked at the housekeeper helplessly.

"What are doing? I don't mean to be rude, but Mr. Geno please walk away from the door. I have to get out of here."

"Miss Emily, when you are gone, who will take care of the young master? When the boss comes back from a business trip, I can't pay. Do you want me to get fired?" Housekeeper Geno was good at taking advantage of her honesty and hit people's psychology correctly, but he didn't expect that Elly had made up her mind this time.

Her eyes swayed, but her voice did not flinch.

"After I leave, there will be a new babysitter. I am always unreasonable, I am in charge of the excuse.

"He will not fire you. I'm begging you, let me go."

Housekeeper Geno shook his head. The two people reached an impasse and the door behind the housekeeper suddenly opened. Alex appeared with his tall figure, a dark face and a ferocious low voice filled the air.

"Where do you want to go?"

Housekeeper Geno hurriedly stood aside.

Without waiting for Elly's answer, a big hand grabbed her suitcase.

Looking at his keen eyes and cold face, Elly suddenly felt distressed.

"Keep your voice down. I don't want to be here anymore."

"Don't you want to stay here? Where are you going?" Alex growled, as he tried to hold her hand, but was avoided.

Seeing him fierce and violent, Elly was furious.

"All in all, I'm just a secretary. I don't need to report my personal life to you. Wherever I'll go is my personal choice." Elly Elliott countered as she tried to get her suitcase, but he grabbed her by the wrist.

Alex Hargreaves held her wrist high and squeezed her. In his definite voice, he said "You are my secretary. If you want to live anywhere I live and I'll go with you."

His answer made Elly flushed with anger and stared at him.

"You said you had no choice. All in all, I'm just a little secretary. I really have no right to live here."

Hearing her words, Alex frowned and noticed the abnormal situation.

"What did someone say to you?"

"None." Elly's eyes sparkled and denied.

"I have nothing to say. I wanted to leave a long time ago"

"I forbid you to say the word 'leave'!" Alex shouted. He threw Elly's luggage to the housekeeper and gave orders.

"She can't leave the villa without my permission."

The housekeeper bowed his head and moved the luggage away at once.

Seeing her luggage taken away, Elly jerked away his wrist, anxiety, and anger emitted from her.

"You are ridiculous and disgusting! You have no right to keep me here!"

"Oh, right? Alex put her hands on his chest and asked arrogantly.

"Now that I detained you. What can you do for me?"

Their quarrel was at its best when the phone rang, piercing the fierce atmosphere between the two people.

As he looked at the name on the screen, Alex blurred his reason angrily, so he deliberately answered the phone in front of Elly.

"What's the matter, love?" After he deliberately emphasized the word 'love', Alex Hargreaves observed Elly's reaction. But her transparent face gave him a hammer, which made his mood worse.

"Honey, do you remember me?"

Elly's expression is still calm, but her heart is rough. Her heart is like being stabbed, making her feel uncomfortable, but she won't show it. This is her last pride.

Emily Russel at the other end of the phone was stunned. She didn't expect Alex to talk like this. She said sweetly, taking the initiative to lower her pride.

"Alex, please, can we not break up? There's really nothing I can do without you."

"What are you talking about? Why did you break up with me? Stop thinking and wait for me at home." Alex Hargreaves deliberately said these words, which made Elly jealous but what he did not think was that Emily Russel would take the opportunity.

"Do I have to ask for your permission for a walk in the garden now?"

"Elly, I didn't mean that"

Elly turned around and didn't hear him out.

When she walked into the back garden, Elly did not understand why she was in a bad mood. She began to question herself. Is it because Alex won't let her leave the villa? Or is it because he talked sweetly with his lover on his phone?

Elly didn't know that somewhere not far away, Alexis intently looked at her quietly. He was out of breath and frustrated with his dilemma. As he stood in front of Elly, he always acted like he is no longer him.

At the same time when Elly was detained, a real estate company of the Elliot Group has issued a notice that the company will have a new General Manager.

Who will be the General Manager of the airborne unit?

Everyone was talking while they waited to welcome the new Director.

John Elliot coldly walked into the hall and looked at the staff with indifferent eyes. Without saying hello, he glanced at them and John walked straight into the elevator. This attitude aroused everyone's dissatisfaction, and whispers sounded behind him.

'Isn't that the famous Dr. Elliot on TV some time ago?"

"Right. I heard it was fatal. It was terrible!"
