Chapter 284: Chapter 284

Chapter 286 Do Not Go Near Secretary Gerald

'Recently, he came to my training school to meet Elly.' Rosalyn was talking against the wall and rolled her eyes into the hallway of the room to see if anyone passed by. Jump out of the net and kill it.

"I don't need you to teach me. I know what to do." The cold opponent spoke out his upcoming plan in a cold voice.

Rosalyn listened quietly until the other party smiled wildly and warned without saying anything more. After listening to the other party's warning, Rosalyn smiled briskly and sprinkled tears on the corners of her eyes with her fingers. "Love can't keep me alive, and these weak things won't keep me alive today."

Rosalyn clung to the phone, her eyes dim. She looked into her eyes along the corridor. Only the door of the classroom was closed, and no window opened the sky to ease the darkness in her heart.

Rosalyn went straight to the office. Manager Preston was ecstatic when he saw her appearance. The two made eye contact and had nothing to say. Manager Preston nodded and left.

As she heard the knock on the door, Elly looked up from the papers on her desk. "Rosalyn? Why are you here?"

"Staying at home all day, I found my hands and feet too tight and wanted to go back to work. You can't rely on her all day." Rosalyn walked up to her desk with a smile, looked down at the papers on the desk, and asked in surprise. "Wow, are you looking at the list of teachers? The school hasn't started recently. Are you absent?"

"I'm just checking the teacher's resume. I'm afraid something terrible will happen again. After all, the students are all teenage boys. If I leave out some bad elements, I feel very guilty and worried." Elly smiled and folded back the papers on the desk. Stand up and take Rosalyn's hand to the coffee table in the room.

"You're all right. I'm relieved. I'm not used to schoolwork and there's nothing I can do about anything. I should get back to my design room. "Elly blinked and said nothing about Nicholas's recent appearance in the office.

As she looked at her natural expression, Rosalyn secretly praised Elly for being smart. "Elly, thank you for your hard work running back to the school manager to help me over the years. I'd like to invite you and Alex to dinner. Thank you both for your care."

"We're friends. You don't have to say thank you." Elly refused, but Rosalyn's next words made her change her mind.

"I would like to hire Doctor Nicholas because of the time when I had asthma, he helped me a lot."

Elly remembered Nicholas as a surgeon, but she didn't say it, just nodded silently.

"I have to choose a restaurant. I'll choose a place luxurious enough, not very close. Alex chooses a ceremonial place."

Rosalyn's joke made the two laugh together.

At Swiss Entertainment Company.

Linda stood at the door of the company, watching her colleagues spread out from work. She pressed her cell phone against her ear and her voice was wrinkled. "Is this the last time you let me climb a tree?"

"I'm sorry, baby. Today is an emergency. Some disagreement terms have lengthened the discussion. I can't tell the difference. Boss Hargreaves is still negotiating with Mr. Leonard. I can turn on the loudspeaker to prove it."

Linda was angry and refused to listen to the explanation and turned off Secretary Gerald's phone. He called back, but she didn't answer. Recently, she doesn't understand why Hargreaves' keeps working overtime, and there are so many social parties that she and Gerald have little time to spend together.

He passed her apartment several times, all smelling of alcohol. Linda was very angry when she was pregnant. In order to apologize, Secretary Gerald ordered dinner by candlelight tonight but he called to cancel it.

"Well, you're drunk and you have a terrible stomachache."

Linda stepped on her feet and left the company. Instead of taking a taxi as Gerald had instructed, she decided to walk home and relax. Although she looked angry, she was still worried about Gerald's health and texted while walking. 'Drink less and don't show it to your superiors. You have a wife and children to take care of.'

Linda looked down at the red light and stepped in the middle of the road, when a pizza motorcycle rushed over and broke the crab to avoid her, the cake bucket behind hit her arm. In a panic, Linda fell on the road, dropped her cell phone on the ground, she was screwed on the wheel and pulled for a while, smashing the screen.

She put her hand in her stomach in panic and instinctively protected the child inside. There were loud screams all around, but no one came to help her.

"Do you have any pain?" Urgent questions and masculine breath suddenly appeared behind me.

Linda turned her head and flashed in surprise. "You?"

She didn't hide her disgust and tried to pick her up. "Never mind. I'm fine."

"You hate me, and I should think about your child's health," Chris growled and stopped her struggling behavior.

He held her in the passenger seat and tried to drive in the car but was stopped by pizza delivery men and passers-by. "She didn't watch the way she walked, and she hurt me. My whole pizza was broken. Who would pay me? You despise our workers by relying on the rich, aren't you?"

Linda plans to push the door and apologize, but Chris guards the outside door and won't let her out.

He pulled out a large stack of money, stuffed it into the hands of the pizza clerk, and nodded in apology. His humble etiquette left Linda's mouth open.

When he drove away, she had questions. "You are right, Chris. Do I know you? Since when did you learn to apologize to others? Don't you, the noble Master Thompson, regard everyone in your eyes as smelly ants?"

Chris started the car and looked straight ahead in a depressed tone. "You hate me that much? In my opinion, I am the kind of person who is unreasonable."

Linda looked away from the ribs in her face, looked at the window, and answered faintly. "In my eyes, you have not reached the human position."

The car roared and Chris clenched the steering wheel and drove quietly. If Linda looked directly into his eyes now, he would find a lot of red light spreading in her white eyes.

"You drop me off somewhere, I'll go back by myself." Linda hissed.

"No, I need to take you to the hospital." Chris insisted

"There's nothing wrong with me. I didn't bother you." Linda was lifeless.

Chris went silent and over time his voice became hoarse and dull. "You have to treat me like a strange taxi driver and let me send you to the hospital."

As Linda was determined not to go to the hospital, the car was parked in front of a nearby private clinic. Chris followed Linda, quietly watching the doctor examine his leg, prescribe medicine, and then pay quickly. He drove her to the gate of the community, which made Linda vigilant. "How do you know where I live?"

Without explanation, he returned the broken phone to you and gently told her. "You remember to take the medicine as the doctor ordered."

Under the lights in the car, Chris's eyes became dark and unbearable.

Linda looked at him dazzlingly, finally closed her mouth, opened the car door, and the speckled area came out.

The phone stopped her but she didn't turn around.

He looked at the naughty figure and sighed, his voice like magic, which made her heart tremble. "Don't go near Gerald, it's dangerous."

She turned around and ask why he started the launcher.

"Are you trying to remind me or threaten me?" Linda said to herself, seeing that the phone had been damaged on her hand, she was worried that Gerald could not contact her.

At the same time, Chris Thompson was driving quite far from Linda's apartment building, and he was stopped by two cars.

The brakes braked in time and then crashed directly into the car in front of them. He hurriedly rummaged through the phone to make a call, but from both sides of the road, five or six men with iron bars rushed out of the road, broke the window, opened the latch, and rudely pulled him out of his seat.

"Chris Thompson! You ate bear bile, didn't you?"
